"Where's the tranquilizer gun?" A male staff member with an injured arm shouted to the others. "The manager locked it in the warehouse and took the key. We can't get it out." Another staff member replied. Hearing this, everyone felt helpless. Tony had approached the group by now. He didn't know what breed of dog was causing such a commotion. "What kind of dog is this? So powerful!" Tony thought to himself. A staff member expressed frustration, saying, "Without a tranquilizer gun, how do we control this Caucasian dog?" From the conversation among the center staff, Tony learned that the dog in question belonged to the Caucasian breed. Caucasians are one of the large and dangerous sheepdog breeds originating from Russia. Without any fear, Tony moved closer to where the animal rescue center staff were trying to capture the Caucasian dog. He thought that if a dog like this could protect Anna, it would be invaluable. Many people couldn't control it, and quite a few were injured. After taming and training, it becomes much stronger and smarter. Such a dog would be perfect for being a reliable guard dog. The slip leash slid off again, and the dog grabbed the stick of the leash, pulling strongly. A male staff member was pulled forward and fell down. Seeing the man fall, the Caucasian dog released the slip leash and quickly attacked the fallen staff member. He managed to raise his arm to shield himself, but the dog immediately bit into his arm, tearing it apart. Witnessing the attack, others rushed forward with slip leashes, intending to strike the dog. However, the Caucasian dog wasn't foolish enough to let them hit it. It released the bitten arm and swiftly circled around. Some staff members, realizing the danger, stopped charging and maintained their formation, avoiding giving the dog a chance to escape. A female staff member bravely ran forward to help the bitten man get up. At this moment, the Caucasian dog unexpectedly lunged at the area where the bitten man was being helped up. It targeted the female staff member who was assisting. "No!" The female staff member, frightened by the ferocious dog rushing towards her, screamed in terror. Others were too surprised by the dog's action to react. With its mouth just inches away from the female staff member, the dog suddenly got hit by a powerful stray rock to the head. It caused the dog pain, making it turn away and retreat. The person who threw the rock to stop the Caucasian dog was Tony. Relying on his agility and analytical skills, Tony quickly picked up a rock under his feet and threw it forcefully at the spot where the dog would pass through. Tony's well-aimed throw successfully prevented the dog from attacking the female staff member of the center. Tony recognized her as Maria, the person who had guided him to see the two Alaska dogs during his first visit to the center. Feeling provoked by the throw, the Caucasian dog became even more ferocious. Its sharp eyes scanned everyone, searching for the one who had attacked it. When it spotted Tony, it sensed something, growling as if to affirm that Tony was the one who had attacked it. Dogs not only have a keen sense of smell but can also perceive emotions, fear, detect diseases in humans, and even anticipate earthquakes and thunderstorms. Therefore, it's not surprising that they can recognize who attacked them, even without seeing it firsthand. People in the center were astonished by Tony's actions. They hadn't expected that he could handle the situation so smoothly in such an urgent moment. The staff members let out a sigh of relief, but no one in the center relaxed their guard. They remained vigilant, closely watching the Caucasian dog. Maria also recognized Tony as the one who had just saved her. She looked at him with gratitude. The Caucasian dog identified Tony as its attacker and angrily charged forward despite two staff members holding slip leashes trying to restrain it. It leaped past them, rushing straight at Tony like an arrow. As the Caucasian dog approached, Tony, without fear, prepared himself. When the dog was close, he applied force to kick the dog strongly as it lunged at him. The large Caucasian dog was sent flying. After being kicked, the Caucasian dog rolled on the ground. It was quite painful from the impact of Tony's kick. Quickly getting back on its feet, it retaliated immediately. The Caucasian dog ran towards Tony and leaped into the air, its sharp teeth aimed at Tony's neck. Tony dodged the attack, rotating his body to avoid the sharp teeth of the Caucasian dog. He also lightly patted the dog's back. A virtual bright aura appeared around the dog. However, no one noticed or paid attention to it. At this moment, everyone in the center was astonished and worried for Tony. The Caucasian dog, after missing its bite, swiftly retracted and jumped forward again. It lunged towards Tony, its jaws wide open, targeting Tony's neck for another bite. Tony turned to the side to avoid the sharp teeth of the Caucasian dog. His hand gently patting the dog's back emitted another subtle virtual glow. Still, nobody noticed or paid attention. By now, everyone in the center was in shock, watching Tony with concern. The Caucasian dog, missing its bite, continued its forward momentum, then stopped after a few steps. It stood still, facing the people for a brief moment. When the Caucasian dog turned its head to look back at Tony, its eyes now held a completely different expression. No longer filled with anger and hostility, it displayed a cheerful demeanor. It turned around, wagging its tail, and ran back towards Tony. People in the center couldn't believe what they were witnessing. The once fierce and aggressive dog had transformed into the image of a well-behaved and obedient dog.
