Chapter 111: Alf

Regardless of any conditions or circumstances, one can always persist in the desire for strength.
With such a temperament, even if one lacks the qualities of a knight, they will undoubtedly become an outstanding warrior.
Therefore, when the city guards misunderstood, he did not explain in words but accepted the relationship between Tia and him.
Regardless of how others may speculate, his approval means that there is indeed some connection between him and Tia, and she will be treated with more respect and privileges.
Of course, this was just a spontaneous action based on his preference, but for Tia, it was an opportunity to change the course of her life.
...
Half an hour later.
Angelet changed into a clean white outfit, putting all essential items into a belt pouch. He stepped out of the shop with a sword hanging from his belt.
Tia stood inside the shop, looking at him with wide eyes, completely bewildered.
"Practice what I taught you for a while. Tonight, I'll be back to arrange things for you," Angelet ordered.
"Alright, Sir Angelet." Tia's face brightened, and she solemnly bowed.
Angelet confirmed that Tia, after checking her chip, indeed had the potential to become a knight, albeit less than ideal. But compared to Angelet himself, she was still better.
She could inherit Angelet's sword techniques and archery skills.
Currently, he planned to settle down here and must have some subordinates working for him. Otherwise, doing everything on his own would be inefficient.
Although Tia was currently small, in a few years, with her character, nurturing her would bring significant benefits. Moreover, this was just a casual endeavor; success or failure didn't matter to Angelet; he simply followed his own whims.
"Let's go." He approached Captain Jerak.
"The Lord has arranged a feast for you." Jerak respectfully said.
A black horse-drawn carriage was waiting at the shop's entrance, adorned with an emblem of a white bird and a sunflower. The sunflower resembled Earth's Mandala, but it was yellow.
The petals were woven into a circle, with a wide-winged white bird in the center, forming a symbol similar to a crest.
Angelet nodded in surprise.
He didn't expect Lord Lennon to value mystical power to the extent of organizing a feast exclusively for him.
"Apologies for keeping the Lord waiting. Let's depart immediately."
He opened the wooden carriage door and climbed in.
With a click, the door closed. The coachman shouted, and the carriage slowly started moving.
Guards flanked on both sides as they left the city.
Angelet sat inside, looking out the window.
The street vendors outside quickly receded into the distance.
As time passed, the bustling city center gradually transformed into a somewhat deserted and clean street.
Occasionally, horse-drawn carriages with elegant emblems could be seen passing by.
The sky darkened, and what was once midday now resembled evening. Distant thunder rumbled in the sky.
Cold wind seeped through the carriage window, making Angelet shiver. He tightened his collar, a high-collared garment with silver embroidery on both sides, extravagant yet thin. If he weren't attending the feast, he would never wear such a flashy and delicate outfit.
He was clad in a white high-collared outfit, resembling the German military uniforms from his previous life but shorter. This was the attire of a swordsman in this world.
After more than half an hour, the carriage arrived at the mountain's summit.
Gradually, the sound of rushing water became louder, as if the melody of a waterfall approached.
Angelet looked out of the window.
The carriage had left the city and seemed to be traveling on a road around the mountains, ascending upwards.
Looking out, there was a similarly shaped hill opposite with a massive gray and magnificent castle atop it.
It was surrounded by a tall wall. Only at the end of the road around the mountain was there an entrance gate tightly closed.
The black horse-drawn carriage and guards were stationed outside the gate.
Angelet opened the door and stepped out of the carriage.
His long uncut hair flowed like a shawl in the strong mountain wind.
The white swordsman outfit suited his well-proportioned and athletic figure. There was a faint blend of wilderness and aloofness.
"I'll go report." Captain Jerak saluted and rushed inside the gate.
Others waited outside with Angelet.
Angelet stood next to the carriage, observing the scene.
From the mountain top, across from the waterfall below, there was a similar hill. In reality, there was a massive gray castle on top of that hill.
The castle's scale was slightly smaller than the one here, and on the road around the opposite hill, he could still see successive gray and black watchtowers. The uphill road was separated by several hundred meters from the strict guard posts.
Between the two castles was a large waterfall, two peaks reaching the sky—one high and one low, creating a sense of grand and expansive history.
"This place is truly not bad." Angelet couldn't help but exclaim.
"Do you think so too, sir?" A cheerful voice echoed from the castle gate.
Angelet turned around and looked.
A sturdy old man sat in a wheelchair, wearing a white fur coat. His complexion was somewhat pale, but he seemed to be in good spirits.
"Welcome to Lennon City. It's been years since we had any mysterious beings here. If your Sea Clan people couldn't sense your presence, perhaps we wouldn't have detected your arrival either."
The old man was pushed towards Angelet by a servant.
With a smile on his face.
"Nice to meet you; I am Alf Ledro, the Lord of this city."
"I am Angelet. I am pleased with your hospitality." Angelet placed his hand over his chest and greeted.
"You don't need to be so formal. I've prepared a feast for you. Please come in." Alf invited.
