Chapter 110: Have a student (2)
Tia flinched as Angelet scolded her. After hearing the content clearly, her petite face nodded repeatedly, revealing a joyful expression. "Yes, Sir Angele, I'll leave right away!" She turned around, intending to leave. But before she could take a few steps, a few tall figures blocked the way into the yard. Two large men in half-body armor, wearing white on the upper part, entered through the door, pushing Tia aside, who was blocking the way. Their eyes were fixed on Angelet in the yard. "Are you Sir Angelet Leo?" The leading man asked in a deep voice. "Who let you in?" Angelet's face darkened. "Yet you enter a noble's residence. Are all the soldiers in Lennon so uncivilized?" The expressions of the two men changed slightly. "Whether we are uncivilized or not is none of your business!" The larger man spoke sternly. "Scum." Angelet's face turned cold. "Say that again!" The other party placed his hand on the hilt of his sword, gritting his teeth. "I will show you who the scum is!" "You can try." Angelet picked up a cross-shaped sword next to the well, a mocking smile on his face. "Alright, Morphine, don't forget our mission!" The leading man stopped his companions, and after calming down, he turned back to face Angelet. "Well, it was our mistake to enter your place without permission. On behalf of the City Guard, I apologize to you." He slightly bowed and made a courteous gesture. "This time, our City Guard came here mainly to conduct a thorough investigation of all recent settlers. We hope you can cooperate with our work." Angelet's expression softened a bit. "This is acceptable. However, randomly entering someone's residence will have a significantly negative impact on my privacy. Currently, I am not in a good mood and do not want to cooperate with your work. Alright, you can leave." "You!" Seeing Angelet's attitude, the person beside him angrily pressed the sword hilt, glaring. "Morphine!" His companion quickly restrained him. "Don't be impulsive! Don't forget that your previous disciplinary action is not over!" Angelet looked at the two with a cold smile on his lips. "Hmm, you don't need to do this. One of your tasks is about to end." He calmly stated. As he finished speaking, there was a sudden collision of metal between the armored figures and their weapons. "You brat! Step aside!" The two were pushed back by a tall and strong swordsman from behind. "It's here!" A group of heavily armed swordsmen quickly entered the yard. The captain leading them had a black feather on his metal helmet and casually brushed off the City Guard pushed to the side. "Sorry, Sir Angelet. We saw the open door and heard noises inside, so we took the initiative to come in to see if we could help." The captain was humble and respectful, and his voice came from the inconspicuous helmet. "We are sorry for the intrusion." Angelet nodded slightly, tossing away the black cloth in his hand. He took the sword and walked towards the entrance. "Get out, I need to change clothes." "You!" The angry guard was immediately restrained by his companion. The two who had been pushed back by the swordsman were still being restrained. However, the captain, with heavily armed swordsmen, seemed to be beyond the level of normal City Guards. This was not a character they could offend, and the person next to him could only tightly hug his comrade Morphine, fearing that he would cause trouble. Everyone knew that these heavily armed swordsmen were the personal guards of the Lord of the city. The team leader, Captain Jerak, was a powerful knight who once held the city gate for more than five minutes in the battle of Andrew. Although the offensive was as high as a tide, no one could break through the city gate. The enemy's casualties were as high as half of the city gate. The people in the city called Jerak the Tiger of Lennon. But now, this tiger personally led the team, facing a formidable enemy, welcoming a newly settled noble within the city. This was the key to the City Guard captain suppressing his anger. "Get out!" Jerak shouted loudly without losing his composure. Everyone was trained properly, quickly leaving the yard. After a series of heavy footsteps, all except Tia were chased out of the shop by the guards of the city lord. Angelet glanced at the girl standing there, motionless. Tia's face now looked pale, as if she was afraid after the recent scene. "It seems that you have been misunderstood by them." He said in a low voice. Tia looked at him in confusion, not understanding his words. Angelet did not explain. "I don't know if this is good or bad for you." He walked into the room and closed the door behind him. Tia stood alone in the yard, a bit bewildered. "Sir Angele, you must not be an ordinary person..." She whispered in a low voice. As a girl with a normal appearance, a thin figure, and a malnourished posture, with such physical conditions, even if given to a noble who liked young girls, no one would willingly take her in. Tia knew her situation well, so she could feel that Angelet's teachings for her were completely devoid of any selfish motives or desires. This made her very grateful. Her father was an alcoholic, and her mother disappeared without a trace, leaving Tia to rely on herself in everything from a young age. No one was willing to help her. When she was nine, her father suddenly went out one night and never came back. After wandering the streets for a while, Tia found a job at a bakery that didn't pay wages, only providing food and shelter. Every day, she worked from morning till night, or else she would be beaten. Tia endured all of this, and in her spare time at work, she listened to customers talk about various topics. Gradually, she realized that those who wore weapons on their belts while talking to others would make others afraid to speak to them. That was a sign of power. So, from then on, Tia began practicing swordsmanship with a tree branch, hoping that one day she could become such a person. Unfortunately, recently, her wrists felt uncomfortable, and her right palm sometimes turned slightly green, causing pain like a needle. Under Angelet's guidance, she realized that she had been practicing with the wrong posture, causing damage to her body. If she continued training recklessly, her entire right hand could become useless. She pursued strength and perseverance no matter how difficult it was. Training with many mistakes every day could lead to serious consequences for a young body. One could imagine how much time she spent training. And this was what Angelet appreciated.
