Homepage/Fated To My Servant CEO/
End
Thomas and Theo are both looking fine, far from how they looked earlier. They were a complete mess and seemed disgruntled. No trace of the tragedy that had happened is visible in them. The father and son team patiently waited for Cara and Ashton at the maze.
“Theo!” Cara exclaimed when she saw her best friend, safe and alive. She rushed towards him and gave him the tightest hug she could give him. “I’m so glad you are alive.” Her emotions were about to overpower her.
Ashton stood a few steps behind Cara. “I can’t thank you enough, Theo, for saving me back there and of course for taking a hit for my wife.” He felt eternally grateful for their loyal friend.
Cara wiped her tears and stood beside her husband. She looked at the three men around her and spoke as she chuckled. “Now any of you care to tell me what the hell happened today?”
Ashton held Cara’s hand. “This will be a long story, Love. I’ve got some dinner prepared at the cabin.”
They all agreed to settle down and talk over dinner. Ashton pulled out a chair for Cara and sat beside her.
Thomas pulled out an old box and gave it to Cara. “This is something I know you are familiar with. “He said with a faint smile.
“This looks very similar to the hair pin Grandma, I mean mom gave me.” She said as her eyes glimmered. “How did you have this?” She was confused.
“Your mom, well. Let’s just say that meeting the two of you was not an accident.” He said as he recalled that day that they first met.
Cara’s mouth dropped open. “You mean , you know everything?” She could not believe the grand scheme that her parents did just to save the future.
“At first, I did not believe in her plan. But when Theo confirmed to me that you are the Sakalam I had no choice but to believe that my son is the myth for us witch hunters; he is the Kasmala.” Thomas explained further.
This is the first time Cara heard about that myth. “Kasmala? Sorry, I’m confused.” Cara apologized for not knowing.
Theo cleared his throat. “I am the highest ranking witch hunter. I had the power of the last breath of life. When I transferred it to Ashton, I also gained a boatload of other abilities when I was stabbed by Celeste’s wand. Perhaps I absorbed it all, something very unlike to happen. That’s why Phantoms thought of it as something that only existed in legends.” He paused and showed a wide grin on his face. “Now, I am the leader of my pact.” He said with confidence.
Ashton smiled, seeing how Theo felt invigorated by his near demise. “How are your brothers feeling about this?” He asked.
“Like me, they could not believe it at first. But they have to accept it.” Theo did not want to share more details about it.
Ashton glanced in Thomas’s direction. “Wait, so you knew you had to kill your son to finish your task?” He understood it was the hardest part of Thomas’s task. He could not imagine being able to handle such a mission.
Thomas exhaled heavily and tilted his head heavenward. “I had to make my son believe that I will kill the Sakalam so he can be the Kasmala.” He glanced at his son and chuckled before he faced Ashton. “The three of you are crazy. You go out of your way to lure the enemies to protect Cara, then she comes after you to protect you too.” Thomas said it like it was a scene from a movie. He then looked in Cara’s direction and continued. “Then you give up everything when you see him hurt.” Thomas furrowed his eyebrows and looked at Ashton. He wanted to make sure Ashton hears this part. “She was ready to die with you.” He tapped his chest and blew out his cheeks before he continued. “I knew in my heart that Theo would risk his own life for Cara. He would even give his last breath for you, so that you and Cara could live happily.”
“You know, you three are a bunch of crazy people and oddly enough, your craziness worked on our favor.” Thomas added.
Cara and Ashton fell silent. Theo coughed loudly to break the stillness. “The good news is that the war is now over. You being the Sakalam and me being the Kasmala I am offering truce, love and understanding between our people.” He bowed in front of Cara.
Cara felt happy that there was no need for more bloodshed. After all, it was the love between the three of them that ended the unnecessary war that went on for centuries. They have built an alliance for once.
“I have a stern warning though, for anyone who would violate this armistice will face a grave consequence.” Cara left a powerful message and all the rest agreed.

Ashton pinned Cara against the wall as soon as he closed the door. He kissed Cara as he promised earlier. Cara met his lips as Ashton held her closer to his body. This is the first night that they will share as their real selves. No pretensions and with nothing holding them back. They don’t even have to make each other forget about tonight. They danced in the music of love that only they could share.
Cara rested her head on Ashton’s chest. Their legs were intertwined like they could not let each other go. Ashton reached for the bedside table and got a small box. “Love.” He spoke gently and showed Cara the ring he was holding.
Cara’s eyes widened at the beautiful piece of jewelry Ashton was holding. “What is this for? You did not have to.”
Ashton placed the ring on Cara’s finger. “I’ve been keeping this for a long time now. Love, please marry me again, for real this time.” He asked Cara.
Cara’s eyes were filling up with tears. She could not fathom that such a day could exist. Everything was just perfect, it was everything she had hoped for and more. “I will marry you love, with all my heart.”

The following weeks were a bliss for the couple as a wonderful miracle came their way. After their wedding, Cara and Ashton went overseas for their honeymoon. “Ahh, this view is incredible.” Cara exclaimed, looking at the vast ocean.
Ashton smiled, looking at Cara intently. “Such an amazing view, indeed.” He said and went behind Cara to embrace her. “I love you so much, Cara.” He whispered in her ear.
Cara took out her phone and extended her arm. “Come closer, love. Let’s take a family selfie.” She said with a smile.
Ashton looked at Cara with a glimmer in his eyes. “Family? Are we?”
Cara gave Ashton a quick peck on the lips. “Yes we are, daddy.” She answered him cheekily and faced Ashton. “Oh what’s that?” She saw a huge whirlpool forming from the distance.
Ashton turned around and saw the waves were going crazy. “Let’s go!” He shouted and grabbed Cara’s hand as they run towards the hotel.
Celeste turned up in front of them with a sneer on her face. “Did you honestly think you two will have a happy ending?”
Ashton moved in front of Cara to shield her in front of Celeste. “Don’t you dare harm my family!” He glared at Celeste.
Celeste burst in laughter as she walked closer to Cara and Ashton. “I did not expect to hit three birds with one stone.” She paused and laughed louder. “Oh, too bad you will not get the chance to get your baby tested.”
Ashton looked at Celeste furiously. He could not comprehend how Celeste could shamelessly involve an unborn child in the equation.
“Oh, you don’t know.” Celeste laughed mirthlessly. “You cannot have a child with the Sakalam. You are well aware that you are not a supernatural being.” She explained to Ashton.
Even before Ashton could answer Celeste was able to pull in her whirlpool closer. She made a storm surge that is as tall as a tsunami. Cara and Ashton were wiped out even before they had the chance to fight back.
The ground was shaking violently, Ashton and Cara could not even stand up properly. Cara looked around and seeing Celeste look disoriented with the earthquake, she took the opportunity to fly with Ashton.
However, Celeste could also levitate using the water. “I can’t kill you but I can make you suffer, when you have go and burry your husband and your child.” Celeste was brutal with her warning.
“Not too fast.” A voice of a man was heard behind their back.
Cara instinctively look back and noticed a familiar man coming out of a portal. “Lodi” She saw her father pick up Celeste and threw her inside the portal. Everything happened too fast. Neither Cara nor Ashton realized what transpired. Celeste was captured by the original strongest witch.
“Are you okay, Amara?” Lodi asked Cara. He walked towards his daughter and embraced her like when she was a little child. “Oh, god I missed you.” He tapped Cara’s shoulder.
Cara smiled at her father. Suddenly all the memories comes rushing back. “I’m so glad you are here, dad.”
Lodi smiled back “I miss you more.” Her eyes turned white.
