After a second, the man is coming near me. I heard his footsteps and suddenly there's a hand that touches my shoulder, I am planning to scream when I heard Dad's voice.
I slowly open my eyes and turn around to face him.
"You're still awake?" He asked.
I nod and smile while holding the bottle tightly. I look around and unluckily, I found Reigan standing in th back. I was a bit shocked, but I'm trying to relax.
Dad, move aside to let me face Reigan.
"Do you want to say, bye to Reigan? He is going now." Dad suggested to me
Reigan seems so serious. He is fixing his necktie while looking at me. I just swallowed hard and I feel intimidated by him.
"Uh, Thanks for having dinner with us," I said, nervously.
He just nods, and he walks away with dad.
I released a smile sighs after that. I drunk a lot of water and go back to my room. And happily, my body felt the tiredness and let me sleep.
It's exactly five-thirty in the morning when I woke up. I need to prepare for the day. I also brought the letter I made for Daile.
I hope, he would accept it.
"Good morning! You look fresh." Charrie greeted me as I went to our seats.
I just look at her and creased my forehead. "Huh? What do you mean? Do I look ugly every day?" I know that she is complementing me but I guess she has something to say.
She released a small chuckle and started talking. "No, that is not what I mean. You are blooming just like you are in love. Is it you and Daile made up and you know. In a relationship?"
Automatically, I sense stress after hearing those from her.
Aside, from all, I fell last night in nervousness because of Reigan. Today my emotions are a mix, I can explain it. But, despite that, I must think positively.
"No, we haven't talk. I prepared a letter for him. I will ask forgiveness today."
She looks at me and nods. "Hmm... that's a nice idea."
Our room turned silent when one of our professors went into our room. We had to subjects before letting us have a lunch break. Charrie and I ordered a heavy meal. It's lunch, so we have to eat a lot.
I also brought the letter, I made for Daile. I want to give it to him, during this break.
We started eating silently when the engineering students came into the canteen. I instantly found Daile. He is busy with his phone, but still able to follow his classmates and have a seat.
"Oh, Daile is here," Charrie announced. I said yes and told her to give me a letter after Daile had lunch.
"Let's not disturb him first. And finish our foods also." I command. We both do that and wait for the perfect timing.
In the world of hate if no one will move and ask for forgiveness there's no peace of mind will happen at all. So I should do this for our sake.
When the lunch break is going to end. Daile and his classmates were about to go out. I decided to follow them, Charrie is just beside me waiting on what I am going to do next.
When I am near Daile, I instantly call his name. He stops walking and looks around. When he found me. His face becomes serious. He left by his classmates but before that, they all just gave a smile to me.
The three of us stopped and stand in the hallway. I look around and I only found one guy who sits on the corner. He is wearing a glass while reading a book. I did not mind him and look at Daile. I am terrified to do this, but I have to. I look at his eyes, that doesn't give any emotion. As if he disgusted me now. For that reason, I slightly bowed my head and hand to him my letter of apology.
He took a deep sigh and asked me. "What is that for?"
I raised my head and look at him, "Uhm, a letter for you. I hope you read it. It's not quite long so don't you worry. I ensure that all of my messages are in there. Hope you doing fine. "
After ended what I say. He just nod and slowly took the letter and left us.
I felt relieved after he gett the letter.
"Oh my gosh! For God's sake, he accepts it." I told to Charrie.
She just smiles at me and tapped at my shoulder. "You will survive it, he can not resist you. You are Moriya, and what is our friendship for? If he is still firm by his emotions. He is mature, he would accept your apology." She cheered me up and makes my feelings lightened.
"I hope so," I replied and look around for a second time and suddenly. The guy who sits on the corner is gone. I think he watched the scene earlier.
After that, we decided to go back to our room. While walking, I keep thinking about Daile. Wishing that he would accept my letter.
If we made up and end our quarrel. I will ask him to be his best friend, and I will confront him for the second time to stop hoping for me. At this time, I will be clear while talking to him. I don't want to hurt him, I want him to stay with me as a friend. A friend, I can talk to in every break time together with Charrie. I miss being with him. I know the letter is not well-written but I still want to give it to him.
Thanks to Charrie, she was always there. She is my cheerleader and I know I am too with her. Hope our friendship will come back again.
I am hoping, regardless of what would Daile reaction to the letter is.
