"Ha, what are you all doing here?"
The same night, after vacating Karin's office, Rhodes went back to his duty when Daphne went to find him rushing.
She told him about the location of Gael and Yui and thus Karin wished for him to meet them halfway.
"I want to come with you," Daphne said with contending eyes and so did Julian and Sophia.
The three were all wearing robes to hide and has been keeping Rhodes to depart as they all surrounded him and his horse.
"Your highness, young master and young lady. This isn't some kind of a trip you all know that."
"Of course we do! But we just want to meet her too." Julian answered with great enthusiasm to come with him.
The two ladies bobbed together with him and another pair come along behind riding a horse.
"Hey, we must go now!"
"Your highness! how can you come too?"
Rhodes uttered astonished by Darrion's presence and even Maylene popped behind him riding the same horse.
Palm slapping his forehead, Rhodes was left speechlessly unable to stop any of them.
After hearing Rhodes's complaint, Karin went down to meet them all however different from Rhodes's expectation, Karin allowed them all to leave.
"Well travel safe kids."
And so they all left the palace that very midnight and began their journey to escort back Gael and Yui.
"Ah, my eyes! Why do the two of you have to ride a horse together."
Getting grumpy because of lack of sleep, Daphne speaks to Darrion and Maylene noticing how clingy the two have been ever since they left the palace.
Only yesterday they did not dare to look into each other's eyes but after last night they were inseparable.
"You should just have a ride with Rhodes then," Darrion responded with a smirk taunting the young girl.
Instantly, Daphne's cheeks turned red, and so as Rhodes who happens to hear the brother and sister's quarrel behind him.
"Why? Don't tell me your relationship did not progress yet?"
Rhodes jerked his shoulder to hear Darrion's remarks because it was indeed the truth.
Despite Daphne showing her interest in him, he still can't find himself responding to the young girl's feelings.
He already knows that his unrequited love with Yui already ended and that his feelings are now directed to Daphne but some things worry him.
First, of it all is that Daphne is yet to reach her coming of age, that's why Rhodes refrains himself so much.
"Shut up! You don't know anything!"
Daphne depended on their relationship but Darrion only laughed it out embarrassing the young girl.
Suddenly, a swirl of wind passed by them which caught their attention.
"Hey! Don't run that fast!" Rhodes shouted when Sophia began to run her horse which was soon followed by Julian.
"We are almost there I could see the roof of their house!" Sophia responded.
"I'm the one who's going to see her first!" Julian argued following Sophia's speed.
Soon after the others speed up to not miss the two youngsters.
Knock! Knock!
"Ugh!" Gael groaned, hearing two loud knocks beneath their bedroom to where the main door is located.
Knock! Knock!
Still not in his right mind to wake up, two more knocks came up and even Yui groaned hearing the loud bangs.
"Gael, someone is knocking," Yui mumbled covering her head with a blanket.
Gael opened his eyes perplexed, showing a grumpy mood because he didn't either want to leave his bed.
Another loud bang is now heard which angered Gael and Yui tap him to also take a look.
Left with no choice, Gael kissed Yui's forehead and went out of bed running downstairs.
Finally, opening the door Gael brushed his head, "Hey, who the fuck are you?"
"Good Morning commander!"
The loud greetings from two familiar voices instantly put back his senses.
"W-well we are sent to escort you back."
Scared of Gael's cold and dark expression, Julian and Sophia pressed their mouth shut unable to look him in his eyes.
"Gael!" Darrion greeted arriving in his horse.
"Good Morning Commander!"
Maylene and Rhodes also greet him and one by one they went down their horses and approach the front door.
Baffled by the sudden visitors, Gael froze from his spot unable to function when Maylene and the others already help themselves inside.
"Is Yui upstairs?"
Upon asking, Maylene quickly move towards the stairs followed by the excited young lads.
"Kyaaaa!"
Suddenly a scream was heard and Gael then snapped back to reality forgetting the state Yui is in.
"Oh my! Julian, you cannot enter get down! Sophia screamed pushing Julian downstairs.
"Oh my!" Daphne quickly closed the doors of the room leaving Maylene alone with Yui.
The gentlemen below rush towards the stairs but Sophia also pushed them away.
"No one's allowed to go up!" Daphne screamed and all the gentlemen were pushed out of the small cabin.
Although in a daze, Gael already knew what just happened, slapping his face with both his palms cheeks and ears reddened.
"What? What's happening?" Julian asked innocently turning his head from right to left.
Quick-witted, Rhodes, and Darrion look at each other and then take a peek over their shoulder to see Gael crouching by himself behind them.
Looking at his half-naked body, the two gentlemen already know what might transpire and so the two tap their friend's shoulder.
"You have the guts, my friend," Darrion said smiling but his eyes are scarier.
"How can you do this commander, I have respected you," Rhodes added clenching his jaw with the same scary expression as Darrion.
Gael gulp sharply averting his eyes from his two friends and raising his hands as if he is being cornered.
Julian, who watched the adults from behind still has no idea of what is happening grabs the door's knob.
"Julian stay there! Don't dare to come inside."
"Yes sir!"
The cold tone of Darrion sends a chill all over the young boy's body halting his moves and so he obediently steps away from the front door with extreme fear.
