Alexis laughed, caressing her cheeks, “Haha, this is the most exciting part for me. The revelation. Did he hide it from you? Or did he really lose his memory after I did the ritual?”
“You seem to be so shocked, my dear. Let me explain everything to you clearly.” He then touched Vienna’s forehead and suddenly, a bright light came into her mind, along with memories playing. 
“Your soul was already dead long ago, Vienna. What keeps you awake was because Raziel sacrificed himself last time.” He started, and Vienna watched the scenery play in front of her. 
“Last century ago, Duke Raziel was a mighty killer who fell in love with a woman that became his weakness. It was you, Vienna. You were the one I cursed first for committing such a grave sin. But then he came to me, the most powerful dark mage to make a deal, to turn back time for you. This is out of the world’s nature, but out of pity, I decided to give him a try, to correct his mistakes, but along the way, the consequence was for him to become a dragon himself, his curse that he has to partake.”

Everything slowly sank in, Lady Vienna’s mind felt like it was about to burst.
When she felt Alexis removing his hand from her forehead, a tear escaped her eyes. 
“So…you can’t lift his curse?” That was all she could process at the moment.”
“Yes, that was a consequence I made sure for him to know…and yet he accepted it for you. Don’t even think about blaming me, I only granted his request.” Alexis said. 
Vienna gritted her teeth, feeling like she had just done something wrong. Duke Raziel did that…for her?

"Kneel before me." 
Lady Vienna Estelle Thaleia Xaviera, the villainess said to the crown prince. She once was known as the Crown Prince’s stalker throughout the kingdom. She dedicated her whole life to bullying Princess Avelina, stalking the crown prince, and now she successfully killed the female lead. But she felt empty.  
"I said kneel." She said to the vulnerable Crown Prince in front of him. 
The Crown Prince, Prince Mathias looked at her like she had gone crazy. "Are you happy now? You killed my fiance, the love of my life. But now that she’s gone, I still would not love you.”
She laughed hysterically, feeling like she was losing her mind, well, she had lost her sanity long ago. It felt like she does not have a conscience except an empty body now. Her greed was the only thing that kept her going. 
“If it means that it would change my fate, then I’m willing to do this again.” She said. “I killed the female lead. Now give me her role.” She said nothing. 
Just then, there was a figure out of nowhere. It was the demon, Alexis, who wanted to play with humans. “Haha, you didn’t change the flow of the story. No matter how many times you kill, you’ll only be a villain. Now that you killed the female lead, the chain of the story broke, and you have to pay the price. You have to live forever.”
Her mental state was not stable, and she had killed herself a few times. A few years had passed, and Duke Raziel Valen Donovan initiated a coup d’etat. He gathered an army in order to kill all the nobles and end the hierarchy system. When he saw the villainess, he fell to his knees. 
“Kill me,” Lady Vienna was prepared to die for committing such a grave sin.
Tears were in Duke Raziel’s eyes. “If only you loved me, then I’m willing to be the villain.”
 And he slashed her body with his sword. He closed his eyes and cried in pain. Carrying her body, he then wounded his hand. He called out the demon, Alexis. “I’ll make a deal. Turn back time.”

“There’s a great price you’ll have to sacrifice. You killed her and broke her curse. Then I’ll curse you…“ the dark mage explained. “Once everything turns back to the past, you’ll never remember anything. You’ll be the villain, and she’ll still be the villainess. You won’t get to change your fate.”
He gritted his teeth, still determined. “Then I’ll risk it. Let’s see if I can’t. But I have a condition, dark mage. Give her a book as a guide.” 
Alexis the dark mage finally agreed to it and started to perform the ritual.
With Duke Raziel carrying Lady Vienna’s body, he whispered into her ear, “In our next life, I’ll come and find you, Vienna.”
