It's been a rough day today for us instructors at least as we have been walking up and down the camp to inspect.
It's not much of a big deal but it has to be done anyway as it has rained a few days ago, so we have to check to see what areas are safe for our students to visit and so far, we haven't found anything worth alerting.
But now it's finally over. It's about five in the evening, so we can also have some few hours rest before the evening call roll.
I haven't seen Nina at all today and I was wondering just where she went but then I thought that maybe she was just trying to avoid me.
She has made it pretty clear today but then I don't blame her. Anyone in her own shoes would have felt the same.
I just stood up out of the blue and claimed her as my wife and she has no other choice but to accept the fact even though she is very much clearly against it.
I wish I could explain this to her but I'm not sure if she will understand.
At least she has now agreed to continue on with the pretence till the field trip is over and then we can all go back to our separate lives.
The girl is such a nice and obedient girl and she is also an outstanding student, that was the reason why I even stepped in to accompany her on this field trip otherwise she would have come alone.
A lot of the students that came are here are alone.
I was walking down to our tent when I spotted Nina's new friend, what's her name again, I can't remember.
She smiles as soon as she sees me walking over to them.
She is also along with her other friend. The third friend has followed the second group.
I can't believe that Nina was even about to give up her spot in this group just for that girl. If she had done that, then she would have definitely ruined my plan. All this would have been a waste.
They waved at me, and I returned it with a smile too.
"Good evening, sir," the girl says, still smiling.
She's the same girl that Nina told me that she is of the assumption that we are getting intimate with each other.
The truth is, I wouldn't mind that either, as I'm still a man after all, and when I see a beauty, I know that she is.
She is a fairly tall person—well, not that tall, but not short either—but that's not what I should concentrate on right now.
Her body is curvy, not like all those slim girls who are hiding under the pretense of slimming down.
She has all the curves in the right places. She also has a fine ass and it's so curvy, just how I like it. And her boobs are not that large, probably b cup, and not to mention her slim waist that I could wrap my enormous hands around. She is the type of lady you could describe as pear-shaped or something like that.
And she has the most amazing face I've ever set my eyes on: her sexy hazel eyes, her medium-sized nose, and her heart-shaped lips. I haven't thought much about them till today.
I almost kissed her back then when I was trying to get her off the bed, but I managed to restrain myself at the last minute. Something that I am regretting right now.
Well, someone actually did stop us.
But I know that, as her teacher, I need to uphold her dignity just as she did mine. As it is, I am here to protect her, not demean her.
"Sir, is everything alright?" she asks.
"Uhmm, have you seen Nina today by any chance?" I ask.
"No, sir. I think she's around though, but I haven't seen her since morning," she answers.
"But I'm sure she's around," she adds.
"I've noticed that she seemed a little bit cranky today; I hope everything is alright, sir," she asks.
Nina's right. The girl asks so many questions; she's so nosy.
"Yeah, she seems to be cranky today, which I noticed, but I am sure it's just the weather," I say.
"Ok, I got to go, and if you see her around by any chance, do inform her the call roll is happening by 6," I say.
I didn't wait for their answer as I just walked down to our tent to get some rest for the meantime.

It's time for me to take the call now. I can't believe time has gone by so fast, but then what would you expect out here?
I started calling out the names.
"Nina Grifforth," I called her name.
I kind of like it when she uses my surname.
It feels so sweet in the mouth.
"Nina Grifforth," I call out again, but there is no answer.
Where is that girl, really?
"Nina Grifforth," I call out the third time.
"I think she is not here, sir," one student announces.
"What do you mean she's not here?" I ask him.
But obviously, he doesn't have the answer to that.
I checked my watch and noticed that it's six forty-five in the evening, which means all movements are restricted.
Where on earth could she be, then?

I looked left and right, but there was no soul around. But who would be mad to be out here at this hour?
I regretted ever going far away from the camp site, and now I am lost, waiting to be the next dinner for the next lucky wild folk or die of starvation and thirst.
I didn't even have a phone with me—not that it would help, but at least I might have found reception to call for help.
I remain seated by a tree, thinking of all the things I could have accomplished in life.
I wanted to become a great biologist, then I'd open a farm house as well as a pet house. I even wanted to open a zoo one day, and then I'd finally get married sometime as well.
But now, all this isn't going to happen—none of it.
Why did I have to even come out here when I was given specific instructions not to do so?
I wanted to blame all my hormones for cheating on me, but it's not my fault; it's just my foolish head.
I should have brought two maps. This wouldn't have happened if I had.
I heard some movements from behind me. Like someone was stepping on some fallen leaves—not that they are dry or anything—but the way this place is silent, you can even hear what's happening back in Jupiter.
"Oh Lord! I know this is the end; please let my parents have the strength to bear my loss." I silently prayed, and trust me, I haven't done that in years.
I just shut my eyes, waiting for the inevitable, because I see that it's growing close.
Good bye, life; good bye, world as I know it.
