Day 6 cont

I lay there on my bed, thinking of what to do to get back at that professor.
And the only solution I've got was to get to him is through her.
Nina is a very special person, I can feel that already. 
I have never felt so much connection to anyone that I felt with her.
She is so kind, jovial and beautiful as well, not to talk so young to be married.
That old man really does not deserve her and I will make sure to show it to her.
She deserves a person with more agility and more testosterone levels like I am.
Gosh!
What am I still doing here?. I need to get up and start working on my plan because there's no better chance than this.
A little birdie whispered to me that she might have not gone to the fields today.
I didn't know what the reason was but I do hope it is not serious.
I got but from my bed to head out.
"Unaenda wapi?" the team leader asks. (Where are you going?).
"Ninaelekea tu kupata hewa safi, nimechoka sana, unajua" I say. (I'm just heading out for some fresh air, real bored, you know).
He gave me an intent look before laying back down.
"Usiingie kwenye shida tafadhali, na hakikisha kukaa mbali na msichana huyo" that's all that he says. (Just don't get into trouble please, and be sure to stay away from that girl).
Stay away my foot.
What does he know?. He is just an old man just like that Prof and they seem to think that all have to obey their orders.
I don't even know why he is taking the side of that man when he doesn't even know him.
Or have they met in an association of old people or something, whatever, I don't care.
I walk out of the room and head into the camp grounds.
Now where do I even start looking for her?.
I didn't know exactly where her tent it but one thing I know is that she isn't staying with the students either.
Yeah! I've got an idea. I saw her near the big tents the other day, maybe that's where she stays.
With that in mind, I walk over to the place where I found her and start looking.
I entered the first tent where I met her and there was no one inside and it didn't even look like a lady was inhabiting the place as it was so this not where she is residing.
I move over to the next tent and there was still no sign of her.
The third and fourth were all the same as well.
I was planning on giving on the fifth but then I decided to keep on going.
I am doing this for the girl I like and there's nothing stopping me from doing so.
Soon, I entered the eight tent and I bumped into someone.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude but..."
I stopped from my speech when I saw it was the girl from the other day, I mean, Nina's friend.
She stayed with us before that man came and interfered.
My guess is that she is here to check up on her friend who didn't go to the fields today or she is also another instructor's wife.
Seriously, what is wrong with the girls these days?.
They seem adamant to marry old men who are not even that rich as if young and abled men like us are no more.
"What are you doing here?" she asks, folding her hands in front of her chest.
Seriously.
"Uhmm, by any chance, is Nina here?" I ask.
Just from the mention of her name, she frowned.
Have they like broke up their friendship or something.
"Why are you looking for her because the last time I checked, she has a husband?" she asks.
For a minute there, I felt like smacking her head. So she is also on the professor's side.
Why is everyone on the professor's side?.
Why can't they all see that he is trying to ruin this poor girl's life by dominating her?.
"And how did you even know she was here?" she accuses.
Well, she doesn't need to know about my running around before finally getting here.
"Is she alright?" I ask, ignoring her question.
"Yes, or are you expecting anything to happen to her?" she asks.
Goodness! I feel like strangling this girl but she is my only ticket to getting closer to her.
"No, it's just that I heard some students saying that she wasn't joining them today and so, I was worried that something might have happened to her and I came to check up on her" I answer in the most sweetest voice I could muster.
"Well, she is fine, thank you" she says and turns to go back in.
"Wait! Can I come in and see her?" I ask.
"No, she is kind of asleep right now" she says and turns to leave.
"Are you sure she is well?" I ask, following her in.
"Yes, she is perfectly alright, her husband is taking care of her, so you don't need to worry" she says.
Taking a deep breath, I decided to be straight forward as well.
"Don't you think that that man is not good for her?" I ask.
"Excuse me?" she says.
"Come on, you know what I mean" I say.
So she can as well quit the pretence.
"And what makes you think that?" she asks.
"Come on, first of all, the man is too old and he is really possessive, didn't you see what he did to her the other day, she was literally scared of him and that's not how a husband should be treating his wife" I say.
"Who knows, maybe he is even torturing her" I say, trying to get her to start hating him as well.
"Well, you are right..."
"See, I told you, I always knew that the man was bad and now..."
"Hold on, hold on, do you actually think that I was implying that he was hurting her?" she asks.
"Well, yes, what did you think then?" I ask.
She just started laughing like a crazy person.
Seriously, what is wrong with her?.
"You, you are hilarious, what made you even think that?" she asks.
Well, because it's obvious.
"I've never seen such a dumb person like you are" she says and stood laughing all together.
"Listen and listen well, you should stay away from these couple, they do not need your interference I'm their life matters" she says.
"I knew very well that you had a thing for her since the day I met you but I'll say this to you nicely, please stay away from them" she pleads.
That's it, I'm done being nice with her.
"And who do you think you are to stop me from doing what I want, huh, even her husband couldn't do that so what made you think you could?" I move in closer to her.
"Just leave before I call the security you bloody monster" she threatens.
And she looks like she will execute whatever it is that she set her mind to and trouble is the last thing I want to cause for myself right now.
I glared at her with so much dispice.
"Don't think that I would leave this like matter alone" I growl at her before storming off.
This will not the end of this matter.

Could you believe the nerve of that guy.
I mean, he is trying to make me feel like the Prof was mistreating Nina.
He doesn't even know them. 
And I knew that he had no good intentions in him since the first day he came.
Such a bloody bastard.
He even tried to threaten me. Well, I'd like to see him try though.
With that, I huffed and walked back into the room.
I just hope he gets my warning into his fur-ball head or else, they'll be trouble.

Professor Abraham
It was late when we came back and so, I didn't waste much time with the others and head back to our tent.
Lily was still there as well and I'm sure she is tired from having to stay all day in one place.
She gets up from the bed as soon as she saw me.
"How is she feeling now?" I ask.
"She's much better Sir" she answers.
"But she hasn't woken up since earlier" she adds.
I just nodded at her as I walk over to her sleeping figure.
She looks just like sleeping beauty right now, waiting for her prince to jump in and kiss her with a true love kiss, only there is not one here.
I excused Lily and walk into the bathroom.
I didn't know if she was going to stay with her for the night as well and I didn't want to send her off.
She has helped really a lot today.
When I finished taking my bath, I walk out of the bathroom to see that she has already left.
Guess she isn't staying then.
After I have finished all that I needed to do for the night, I crawl into bed with her and place her head on my chest.
She isn't having a fever like yesterday but it just felt right to do so.
"Good night lovely and get well soon" I whisper to her before going to sleep as well.
It was really tiring today so it didn't take me long to fall asleep.
