Chapter 28
"Its surprising that the gang is not here yet. Im sure Khun Neung told them about Bunny already." Mon said as she feeds Bunny again.
They woke up from their nap minutes ago and now just looking at their little girl eat.
"I told them not to come yet."
"Sam!" Mon glared at her wife. "Why would you do that?"
"Coz i want our family to get some time with Bunny before our chaotic friends barged in. I know how important today is for both our families so i asked them, ahead of time of course, to at least let our parents, grandma and Neung saw Bunny first before they could which they all totally agreed, Tee rak." Sam explained, eyes not going away from her daughter who's eating very well. " She's eager for food. You hungry Bunny. " she added with a proud smile
"I know, she's a foodie." Mon said tapping the little one's cheeks, then looked at her wife again.  "So when do you plan to let them come? Im sure the excitement is killing them already." she asked
"I told them to visit this afternoon so you can have time to rest. Jim said its ideal since she knew how hard giving birth is. They'll be here after they pick Megan up from day care." Sam answered. "She done?" 
"Hmmm. Help her burp Dada?" 
Sam took a burping cloth on her shoulder before gently picking up her daughter from her wife's arms. She held Bunny's body gently but secured, head on her shoulders and softly tapped the little one's back while walking around the room. It took a while for their little one to burp. Sam went near Mon for her wife to clean them up before moving the little girl back to her arms on a more comfortable position. 
"You're too cute for this world Bunny." Sam said as the little one opened her mouth to yawn.  "And she's sleepy again." 
Mon just observed her girls. She have seen Sam with a newborn Megan before, she's so nervous to hold her and even took her some time to get comfortable with holding the child. But watching her now with their own baby is lovelier than ever. The way she expertly moves Bunny from her shoulder back to her chest, the way she softly taps her back, the way she sways her to sleep, the way she trace her arms with her finger, the way she looks at her lovingly and full of adoration. All of it makes Mon think of how perfect of a mother her wife is. 
The door cracked open, Tee and Yuki came bearing a basket of fruits and flowers for Mon and pink balloons for Bunny. 
"We saw Khun Neung outside getting food, she said its ok for us to come in, hope were not intruding with your family time?" Yuki said hugging Mon.  "How are you best friend?" 
"Still tired but happy. Thanks for the flower and balloons. Bunny's there with Dada, im sure you wanna see her already." Mon pointed at Sam
They couple was about to approach when Sam raised her hand to stop them. 
"Sanitizer and alcohol is that way. No touching my daughter without that." she announced earning a laugh from Mon and stinky eye from Tee. Yuki just followed and went back to eye the baby after. 
"She's so pretty Mon." Yuki said with heart eyes. 
"I assume you wanna hold her Aunty Yuki? I trust you with children more than Tee. She's scared of holding babies." Sam whispered but loud enough for Tee to hear too. 
"Not my fault! They're tiny and what if they fell off?" Tee argued back
Sam carefully passed Bunny in Yuki's waiting arms before facing her friend. Yuki went beside Mon not wanting to be in between the two arguing friends. 
"Fell off? What are they a fruit? And that's why you should hold and keep them safe you woman. What if you and Yuki decided to have children? You'll let her do all the work alone? What kind of partner are you?" she lectured Tee
"Of course i will help her!" Tee answered back
"Then woman up and start practicing now. Your fears of carrying kids will always stop you from experiencing motherhood. Start with getting use to babies, that i can let you, you can stay close with Bunny but not carrying my daughter though, i wont let you." 
Mon and Yuki just looked at the two and shook their head after. 
" She's so cute Mon. She looks like you when you were a baby. I mean i saw your baby pictures so i can say she really is a mini you." Yuki said eyes going back and forth to the mother and child
" Mae said the same thing actually. But we'll see, babies will not stay looking like this, they'll grow and from there we can see who she really looks like."
" Her complexion and round face is a big giveaway but yeah you are right." 
"Sam will definitely be overjoyed if Bunny grows up looking like me. She loves the idea of having two Mons in the house." Mon said remembering ber wife's words 
"I bet she will." Yuki agreed. 
" Are you really helping me or what?" the two heard Tee ask Sam. The later just rolled her eyes. 
" i am helping you! Are you willing to?" 
The two continued their bickering. Not until the door opened again, with Neung, Kirk and Nop. The men entered holding bags of food and another set of flowers and balloons. They delivered the food in the lounge first before greeting the baby. Well not before Sam gave them the same treatment she did to Yuki and Tee. They sanitized fully before they go near Bunny. 
"Hello Bunny im your uncle Kirk! Its nice to finally meet you in person. I brought balloons to welcome you!" 
"Let me see her too. Hello there Princess." Nop said and looked at the baby.  "I'm sorry Sam but you will definitely be having a hard time when she gets to her teen age years. She'll be getting every boy's attention everytime she's out." Nop added
Sam nodded her head a few times. Mon saw her wife's brain load.
"Nop!" she looked at her best friend, the latter just grinned  "Love, i literally just gave birth today, we have lots of time before that happened. And dont worry about that, with how everyone will react upon hearing her last name, i doubt anyone would ever come near her." Mon said knowing how the Anuntrakul Family Name stands in the society. Plus with Sam's reputation too she really doubt it. 
Everyone agreed to Mon well everyone except Neung. 
"Unless someone will come and sweep her off her feet the way Mon did to you." Neung said earning a look from Sam but the latter just shrugged her shoulder. 
"That's true. That might happen." she agreed. 
They expected another reaction from her since she's very protective of Bunny so they were a bit disappointed. 
"Just that?" 
"What?" 
"I mean you're fine if someone will get Bunny's attention or something?" Tee asked
"Wow. Im glad how mature you are Sam. You've really changed." Kirk agreed even giving Sam a thumbs up
"Im glad you are not going to be very strict of her. Thats good news Love. Bunny needs friends around her too. And someday maybe someone she would love too. Thanks for letting her Love. Thanks in advance for being easy and understanding." Mon sighed in relief
Sam looked at her wife though. 
"Who said i will be easy? I never mentioned about it being easy with her future suitors and such."
"I thought...." 
"I just agreed with someone might come but i never agreed to let her being swept away." Sam said with a grin, she then took Bunny from Yuki. 
"But..." 
"I will make sure Bunny will experience every great thing here on earth so she will never settle for less. I will show her how should a girl be treated that she will know what to look for in every suitor she'll have. That is after they get passed by my own set of standards."  Sam announced with a smirk. 
"We'll help you guard her Sam." Nop added with agreement. 
"Megan and Bunny deserves all the best thus world could offer and yes they should not settle for less!" Kirk joined with determined face. 
Mon just rolled her eyes but she knew her wife will do that thing for their daughter. Plus their male friends too. She's sure Bunny will forever be treated as a baby. She just sighed. 
Then the door opened with Jim rushing in. 
"BUNNY!!!!!" she called but was held back by Sam.  "Oi! Sam!" 
Everyone then pointed at the sanitizer. 
Jim just smiled and went to sanitize. Kade and Megan joined her after. 
"OMG!!! She's so beautiful!" Jim said as she looked at the baby Sam is holding. 
"She is." Sam softened as she looked at her little girl.  "Here." she was about to pass Bunny to her Aunty Jim but she stopped. She looked at Jim and asked. "You still know how to hold a newborn right?" 
Everyone held their laughter as Jim glared back. 
"Im also a mother Samanun. I am a mother first before you, remember that. You practiced with my daughter once a week but i took care of her everyday since she's a newborn until now. So don't you ever, ever judge my baby sitting skill. Get it?" Jim preached making everyone laugh. 
" Im just making sure." 
" Just give me my niece will you?" Jim said impatiently 
Sam then transferred the little girl into Jim's waiting arms. Everyone is so busy looking at the little girl when Sam saw Megan in the corner, silently looking at her own mother holding another baby. Sam went to where Megan is and squatted down to level her eyes to the girl. 
"Hey, why is our baby quiet?" Sam said making everyone look at them.
"Baby Ta-tam ?" Megan hugged Sam and innocently asked
"Yes. That's your Nong Bunny sweetheart. Wanna see her?" 
"Yes..."  Sam carried her to the bed and settled her beside Mon. 
"Mo-mon!" Megan smiled and gave Mon a hug and kiss. 
"Hello to you too sweetheart. You wanna meet Bunny? Coz she's very excited to meet her Phi Megan." 
"Really?" 
Jim gave Bunny to Mon. Sam to her right adjusted Bunny's hat to reveal their baby's cute face. 
"Pretty!" the little girl giggled as she tried to gently tap Bunny's arm. 
"She is isn't she? She's your baby sister." Sam said
"Nong Bunny, love ." Megan said and kissed Bunny's tummy instead. 
Everyone awed at the cute sight. Bunny even gave them a sleepy smile. 
"She loves you too Phi Meg." Mon said to Megan. The little girl grinned in happiness 
"Wanna hold her sweetheart?" Mon asked. Megan nodded excitedly. 
Sam put Megan on the rocking chair while Mon carefully wrapped Bunny on her swaddle before handing Sam their baby. Jim is beside Megan assisting her. 
"Meg, meet you little sister Sunaree." Sam said smiling at the girl. 

"Reen!" Megan said as she looked at Sam with a smile. 
"What is it sweetheart?" Sam asked 
"Bunny is Reen!" Megan announced 
Sam looked at Mon. Mon just smiled at her wife. 
"Seems like P'Meg gave Bunny her new nickname. Baby Reen." Mon said as she looked at Sam
"Baby Reen." Sam copied her wife.  "Reen is a good one. But she's still my Bunny." 
"She will always be our Bunny." Mon said
"Mae, im holding Reen!" 
Everyone saw how Megan's eyes glows when Sam transfered Bunny in her arms. She looked at everyone with pride and a prim smile as she held the youngest member of their big family. Sam and Mon's eyes glimmer with tears too. 
While everyone is busy taking pictures, Jim on the other hand is busy crying. 
"P'Jim!" Mon wiped her tears when she saw her older friend 
"Im just so happy...." she cried. 
Sam immediately went to taking over her friend's place while Kade pulled Jim and hugged her friend. 
"Jim, you're more emotional than the parents!" Tee said while tapping her friends back. 
"Im just very happy! And proud of Sam and Mon." she answered between sobs.
Jim went to Mon's side and hugged her friend. "I'm so proud of you two."  Sam just looked at her wife and smiled. 
"But you don't need to be this crying mess." Kade argued. 
"How can i not? Look at them, Bunny and Megan are so lovely, we are all here welcoming the newest member of our family. Im so happy that my heart cant handle it!" Jim argued back while crying and wiping her tears. 
Yuki came and hugged Jim. 
"Its ok P'Jim, i can relate to you but look, even Megan is smiling. We should be smiling now coz its a happy day. Mon safely delivered Bunny and we are celebrating. So lets stop crying now ok?" Yuki said while helping Jim wipe her tears. 
"Yuki is right Jim. Besides we should really celebrate and congratulate the real MVP her. Mon you really did great. Fah told me your labor and birth story. You are so brave. I almost fainted while imagining you." Neung shivered. 
"Fainted?" the girls asked.
"Hmmm. Imagine, Mon gave birth standing up here coz she cant hold back Bunny who's very excited to go out already. Sam is supporting her with 2other nurses while Fah is kneeling here getting ready to catch Bunny. After a couple of pushes, Bunny slipped out of Mon and Fah caught her. This floor is where Mon gave birth to our hopping Bunny! Fah said Bunny is covered with all that vernix white something when she first saw her but she's so beautiful! " Neung narrated without knowing how their male friends plus Tee's face color paled as a paper. 
"OMG really? Where? " Yuki asked in shock
"There!" Neung pointed the exact birthplace of Bunny and second later they heard loud sounds of falling. When they looked back, Kirk, Nop and Tee are already on the floor, unconscious. 
"What the.....!" Kade shrieked 
Sam took Bunny from Megan and gave her to Mon. Megan who's very curious went to poke Kirk's face. 
"Kirky sleep?" the girl asked, so innocent that the girls awed her than worry at their guy friends. 
"Should we call a doctor?" Jim asked. 
Sam who's smirking tried to wake up Tee by nudging her friend using her foot. When nothing happened she just let them. 
"Don't disturb the doctors. These cowards will live." she said and walked back to her wife and child. 
Mon just shook her head but smiled at her wife's antics. Sam just kissed her and they whispered I love you in front of their girl friends, not really minding their guy friend on the floor.
