Chapter 59 Official
Sean Elijah Dela Fuente's P.O.V (Part 6) • April 17, 2020
We're at Clivette University. We tend to visit our Alma Mater after a long time. It's been three years since I've graduated here. But the memories this place gave me, didn't even vanished.
And right now, Rielle... She's quiet. I want to ask what she's thinking. What's her thoughts about coming back here. I badly want to ask her to stop pretending. I will tell her that I'll stop pretending too.
She's trying to look happy eventhough she's not. She's maybe uncomfortable with me. But I can't just let her go again. Not this time.
“You had a boyfriend, huh?” I whispered. With that thought, I knew I was affected. I knew there's a hole in my heart.
“I finished High School here but I studied college at Clifford High University.”
“Hmm. You didn't answer my question.” I stared at her when our eyes met again. She's biting her lips and then sighed after.
“You know...” she whispered. “Elijah... You know about me, right?”
“What are you pertaining to?” I asked. She sighed and looked away.
“You've been a good pretender, Sean Elijah Dela Fuente. Just like before. You didn't change.”
I wasn't surprised when she said that. I already expected it. I've also been pretending to be as good as she wants me to be.
It just... I don't want her to see the Elijah she met before. I don't know if I'm even pretending or I'm already tied myself to her. That all she wants me to do, I'll do it.
I will obey her just so she won't leave me again.
Because I'm afraid. I've already experienced this from my mother. She's the most precious woman I have aside from my sister. And now... Rielle. I'm afraid that she will leave me again. I don't know if I can keep her again.
“I'm sorry, Arabella Rielle...”
“You don't have to apologize... I am doing this to have our closure,” she said after all the words she poured out to me. But I stilled with the word 'closure'. No... She can't. She won't leave me. Not again.
“I will accept if you will no longer remember everything that happened between us, Sean Elijah. Or if you wanted to forget those memories with me. I will completely understand that.”
“R-rielle...” My voice cracked. My heart feels like it's shattering into pieces. This is the nth time. And most of it were from the woman I am with.
“But I will also tell you that I am tired of this set-up. I am tired hiding from you... and I am tired loving you.”
I can't keep up with this. I can't. This is too much. But I f*cking deserve this pain.
I still brought her to one of my favorite place. An aviary. I told her everything I knew. Everything she wants. Maybe, this is not the right time to keep her.
“I'm sorry, Rielle,” I uttered. I hold her cheeks before I leaned forward to her give a kiss on her forehead. I stared back at her. “I can't reciprocate what you have for me.” I lied again.
I want her to focus on herself first. If she'll stay with me, she will just regret it. She will just leave permanently and I don't want that.
I'll give her space to breathe and process everything. I lied again but it's for her safety. It's okay if I will be tortured with this pain again. What's important to me is her safety.
The Hawk is still there, waiting for their prey to come out. I'm a member of The Falcon and that made me realize that my life is so dangerous for her.
I hope she'll understand.
“But you still act as if we never knew each other...” she mumbled which I nodded. “Why?”
“I want to forget you,” I muttered. “I knew my mistakes when I did that to you. I take you for granted. And I know I am a f*cktard for doing that to you, Rielle. I never forgot about you. After that night, your debut...”
I heaved a deep breath before I looked at her. “I regret everything. I regret what I said to you. I am ashamed, Arabella Rielle. I can't even go near you before. It took me a lot of courage to do that. But when I found out you left, I can't understand myself why I wanted your presence eventhough it's my fault why you did that.”
“Elijah...”
I explained everything to her. She was just silent but I know she's already hurting so much.
She nodded as a response and eyed me back. I am waiting for her to continue. I want to hear what's on her mind. I can't keep at ease if she's like this.
“I forgive you... Let us forget what happened before. Let's make a new beginning for us. What happened before should be buried within our hearts. I don't want you to have those regrets on you. It's been years, Elijah.” She smiled and caressed my cheeks. “And about my feelings, it will surely fade soon. Don't worry about it anymore.”
I want to stop her now. I don't want to hear everything about this. I'm afraid about what I'll hear. I'm scared what she'll do after this. But I need to do this. For her.
And it really happened. I'm anticipated this but it's my choice.
She was accepted by an airline company and she got busy with her work. She still talks to me over the phone but she seldomly visit us. She will show herself once a month then we won't have any communication again. It took her five months to be away from us.
And to divert my attention, I did everything to looked after the targets of The Hawk. With the help of Zerra, most of them were already safe and relocate to a more convenient place for them to stay. They are being used as slaves.
“Monitor the surveillance cameras in his mansion,” Kian told me. He was one of our spy but not a member of our gang. He just wanted to help us because of her sister.
“I got it. You take care of the rest,” I uttered and tap a button on my computer. Kian sighed and nodded as I saw him from the screen. I stared at it as he drove his way towards the Hart's mansion.
“Elijah,” Denver called me. He motioned his phone that's near his ear and mumbled 'Rielle'. I just stared at him as he continued talking with her.
How... How could she call him frequently but with me, she's aloof? I just looked away when I heard the excitement in her voice from the other line.
“It's your birthday tomorrow?” I heard Zerra but I just shrugged. I don't care. I just want to get wasted. She'll just ditch the party to avoid me.
“Let's have a deal.” I give Zerra a lazy look. She rolled her eyes to me and glanced at Denver who's also waiting for her.
“What?” I scoffed.
“You'll pursue her or Denver will do it—”
“Hell, yeah!” Denver shouted and grinned his lips.
“Don't you dare.” I muttered in a serious voice. He just shook his head.
“You should do it, Dela Fuente. Who knows, someone wants to date your 'girl'.”
“She still needs space,” I said as I diverted my eyes on the screen of my laptop. “I can wait.”
“How long will you do it?” Denver asked. “Jake's her ex, dude. They're in the same workplace.”
“He's married,” Zerra rebutted.
Denver's smirk didn't fade. “How sure are you? Carmienne Hailee Golieza thought she was. But knowing Jake Hart?” He shook his head. “He has plans.”
Jake Leonardo Hart... He's really a pain in the ass. He surely can do that. It's possible. I should investigate more or I'll just ask Kian for that.
The same day, I went to William and ask his permission to court her sister. And as expected, he declined. I told him everything about Rielle and that I already know her since high school. I told him everything I did. And he threw a punch on me which I deserved.
“I already know that, assh*le. Rielle's been secretive to me but I knew her.”
“Then...”
“If she'll be happy, then I'll let you. But still, it's still her decision.”
“You trust me that much now?” I furrowed. I didn't expected that he'll agreed after giving me a punch.
“We've known each other for years. I know you more than our other friends.”
I just nodded before I left his unit. I sighed before started planning. I'll chase her this time. It's my original plan but it was just delayed because I don't want to burden her with my presence. I will do everything for her. Without threats. I'll protect her even if it means I'll lose my life.
My birthday came and I was late for half an hour. Daniel is already here and he's talking with Matthew. He glared at me which I answered with a grin. One by one, they greeted me and some of them are my colleagues from High School and College.
They are with their girlfriends. Denver was holding his phone. We're the only two who doesn't have any partners. I was looking for someone but she's still not here.
We continue drinking and called for waiters to refill our drinks. I was minding my own business when I heard that familiar voice.
“Hey guys!” It was Rielle and she didn't even looked at me. She sat beside Rash. “Sorry, I was late.”
“Rielle...” I mumbled but when our eyes met, I looked away and gulped.
“You're wasted, dude,” Denver commented when he saw me. I showed him my middle finger.
I may looked drunk but I'm still sane. I can even stared at Rielle even with the loud music. She glanced at me but immediately looked away. I smirk and drink again.
We're done playing, my lady.
I stood up when I noticed that she doesn't have a plan to get close with me. I went behind her and ask if she could move. I sat beside her and embraced her as I put my head on her neck. Smells good. I'm intoxicated with her scent. D*mn.
“He's whipped!” I heard Clifford but I didn't mind him. What important is that she's with me.
“He's been waiting for you, Rielle. He thought you'll ditched him.”
I can hear them talking but I can't even focus to them. I just want to go home with Rielle.
“W-whose ex?” I mumbled when someone mentioned her ex. I don't care what words I'm spitting out. “She doesn't have an ex. She l-loves me. Rielle told me that! I m-miss her. She's my b-best friend. And I am lucky that she loves me.”
“Can you take him home?” Rielle asked Denver.
“N-no. We'll stay here. I don't want you to dance with other assh*les here. You're my gorgeous best friend.” I added. Bestfriend? It's more than that, my lady. I'm more than that.
“I'll take him.” I glared at Denver when he pulled me to stood up. I looked at Rielle's and grabbed her hand too.
“I'll take her home.” I uttered and tightens the hold on her hand.
“You're drunk, dude.” Denver hissed at me. “I'll drive you home, then.”
We arrived safe and sound. Denver left immediately. If I know, he's just busy looking after someone.
“Arabella Rielle.” I called her.
“How are you feeling?” I kept my eyes on her as she asked that. “Elijah?”
“I miss you...” I mumbled. “I miss you, Arabella Rielle.”
“I miss you too, Sean Elijah.”
“I'm your bestfriend, huh?”
She chuckled. “You are.”
I remained silent as I looked away. This is good but feels hurt at the same time. Just like what we were before. She was my best friend. The only person who I can tell my thoughts. She knew me more than anyone.
And before... I didn't understand her feelings for me. How can she do everything like this for someone like me? How can she keep up being with me even how terrible I am. I am always amazed by her. Not just physically but with her determination to love me unconditionally.
She's my first love. And I hope I am also to her.
I glanced at her as she smiled at me, softly caressing my hair. I stared at her blue eyes and it makes me go into the abyss with the way she stares at me. And I already knew. I fell hard.
She stopped caressing my hair when I leaned forward to kiss her. She didn't respond as she looks surprised. I deepened the kiss and hold her nape gently to give me a better access.
She moaned and closed her eyes, giving me full responsibility to lead. She moved her lips in a slow pace but it feels torture now. I can feel my 'friend down there' reacting with her touches on my chest.
I should stop. I need to. I moved away but her lips went to my jaw. I suddenly cussed.
“I want you, Sean Elijah.” She kiss my neck as her hands roamed inside my shirt. And before I could react, she already removed my shirt. Hmm, aggressive.
I kissed all over her body. It's making me cursed whenever she moaned my name. Every touch of my hands on her skin is making her flinched. She's enjoying it.
And on my birthday, I owned her, marking her mine. And no one stopped us as we feel each other's warmth and our body become one.

“I don't want you to be just my best friend. Let me court you, Arabella Rielle.”
She was surprised when I said that. She keeps saying that I'm just joking. That I'm a playboy that's why I can't take her seriously. But I'm f*cking serious of her. I will not act like this if I am not into her.
But I was surprised by what she's said next.
“I want you to be my boyfriend.”
I declined but she wants it. I want to court her properly this time. She deserves to treated as a queen.
“I've been loving you, Rielle. Since the day you left me. I just realized how f*cked up I am to lost you. I just hold back myself for so long because I was the one who hurt you. And even how many girls passes by, I can't find you on them. And I keep searching for 'that' love, but yours is rare. Your love for me is unconditional and unique, that I don't know how will I reciprocate that.
“I am restraining myself before to tell you what I feel because the more I see you hurting, the more it made me realized that I don't deserved someone as precious as you. I always asked myself if I truly deserve you. I f*cking hurt you, Rielle. And I regret everything I did. But you're still here, beside me. You're taking risks to be with me even you know that there's a chance that I still can hurt you, in any way possible.”
She smiled. “You're worth every risks that I will take, Elijah... You're the only one who makes my heart leaps everytime you're near me, the one I feel contented with, the one I am comfortable with, and especially the one I still love after all this years.”
“You don't know how grateful I am to be with you.” I claimed her lips as she sat on my lap. But we stop as someone entered.
“Oh my gosh!”
I just sighed when I saw my friends and Nicole.
“I think we disturbed them?” Daniel said as he chuckled.
“We didn't know that you're together,” Denver said and he smirk at Rielle.
“What are you doing here?” I asked.
“Why are you asking, Dela Fuente? This is my sister's condo.” Rash muttered.
“I think we need to leave them for now,” William interrupted. He looked at Rielle. “Noah's here. He wants to talk to you.”
“Huh? Why?”
“Something confidential,” Noah answered.
“Make it fast,” I mumbled.
“What are you, really?” Nicole asked. “Oh, Noah. Wait for us, okay? I just need to confirm this.”
“He's my boyfriend.” Rielle confirmed.
I can't help but to smirk when I heard that from Rielle. We're official. She talk with Noah as I was interrogated by my friends and Nicole.
“Boyfriend, huh?” William scoffed as he give me a look.
“You know from the start that I am into her,” I said.
“Cheesy,” Daniel commented and they chuckled. I just smirk before I diverted my eyes to Rash.
“What?” Rash glared at me. “Don't you ever give her heartaches again. I won't let her be with you if you'll do that.”
“I do.” I smirk and Denver chuckled. While Nicole smack me with a pillow.
I looked at her, confused. “You were the first love she's pertaining too? And I didn't even know that.”
“She also keeps secrets, love.” Her boyfriend, Ethan Montero, consoled her.
“But still...” She just sighed and started warning me. She even told me everything Rielle likes and dislikes. And she keeps on telling us stories about Matthew. That he 'was' Rielle's crush in College. The latter just chuckled when he glanced at me.
When they leave, I noticed Rielle's silence. Denver already told me that it was about Jake Hart. That f*cktard.
“I'll help you, Elijah.”
She was blaming herself to why Jake's been like this. She dumped him and she thought that it was one of the reasons why Jake wanted to take her.
She wanted to take under control. But I want to refuse. This is too dangerous for her. This set-up is making me paranoid. It's her safety that's on the line. I can't just let her be the bait of these gangs' imbroglio. Yet she's persistent. All I could do is to support her.

We met her older brother, Dash Ferrer, Rash's twin. She looks glad as she embraced him for the first time. And as expected to Rash, he started teasing her again.
We chose to be in the pool area after that introduction. And I can't help but to follow Rielle a look at her loose shirt. F*ck!
“You'll swim?” I stared at her body intently as I said that.
“Don't worry, I'm wearing one piece bikini inside.” She smiled.
“I didn't say anything, Rielle.”
“You might get jealous again.” She giggled. “There's nothing to worry about, Elijah. I'm all yours.”
I can't forget how she talks so casually to his other ex-boyfriend, Dwayne Smith. I tried to shrugged that off but I'm still threatened. I am not satisfied with the looks that her ex-boyfriend give her earlier.
“Uh-huh? Let see then.”
“Elijah...” I captured her lips. She responded back which made me grin. Our kiss lasted longer than before. I surely enjoyed it.
“Now, that's my breakfast. You're really mine,” I whispered as soon as I moved away from her.
“Shut up!” She hissed.
“I really love seeing you react this way.” I smiled at her.
After we eat our breakfast, we roamed around the beach. We entered a bar when I noticed someone familiar. I think I just saw Selene Elaiza here.
“We'll drink?” Rielle asked. “Elijah...”
I furrowed as I saw my sister in this place. She stood up with her widened eyes as she saw me. She's with her best friend.
Her mouth gasped upon seeing me. “Eli! What are you doing here?”
“I should be the one asking that, Selene Elaiza,” I uttered.
“Uh, Mr. Dela Fuente. It was me who brought her here.” Saint Del Fuego, as always, will save Selene. He's an acquaintance though.
“Saint! You know I was the one who forced you here!”
“Selene Elaiza! Go back to your room. I need to talk to this guy.” I pointed her friend.
“Eli, we're not doing anything. I just want to see my crush here. That's it.” She's so hardheaded and she's not easy to pursue. She keeps on arguing with me until her eyes landed to Rielle. “Oh my gosh!” l sighed when she used that expression.
“Wait for her to drag you outside,” I whispered to Rielle.
“I need to talk to you!” She shrieks and hold my girlfriend's hand. “Eli! Let me!”
“Let me talk to her.” Rielle just smile at me before she was dragged by my sister.
Saint stayed with me and told me some of my sister's whereabouts. He's not a jerk so I trust him. But not that much. He's still a friend of Clyde Velasquez, Denver's younger brother.
“She keeps asking about your mother.” That was the last words he said before he followed the two ladies. I sighed. My sister is still affected with what our mother did to us. She was still hurt when she saw our father suffering from that. And I just can't keep it away from her mind.
I RECEIVED a message from my secretary that she's here. She has confidential files that I asked her to bring here. I left Rielle's condo because I was so irritated with our plan that Dash made. It's one of the ways to stop The Hawk but I can't let them used Rielle.
I got the files from my secretary. I left her but she's persistent as she follows me. Something's wring with her. I was in my room at put the files here when I noticed that Rielle wasn't here. I begun to feel nervous. Is she starting to do what her brother told her?
Sh*t! She might get in trouble. Talking to Jake might not be the best plan. I'm sure of that. I need to look for my girlfriend.
“Sir!” I heard my secretary but I shooed her away. She's so desperate right now and drunk. She followed me until I was near the shore.
“Why are you still here, Aleesha?” I hissed. I was about to leave when she immediately moved forward to kiss me.
“I miss—” I pushed her away from me.
“I'm looking for my girlfriend!” I shouted. “Don't you ever do that again.”
I was still looking for Rielle but I stilled when I saw her walking towards Aleesha. And I just found myself stopping Rielle from attacking my secretary. She just went rage. The guards brought Aleesha to her room while I keep on calming my girlfriend.
She's mad. She's been having a lot in her mind. When she calmed down, she told me everything about what happened to her talk with Jake. And it didn't end well.
We decided to go back to our room when someone shoot their gun to us. It was from the goons. They outsmarted us. I endured the first three bullets behind me but when it followed with another, I just felt my body collapsing to the ground.
“Sh*t! We need a f*cking backup!” I cussed. “Ugh!”
“E-elijah! P-please, hold on. E-elijah!”
“R-run away, Rielle.” I kept shooting them while I slowly let go of her hand.
“They've surrounded us!” Daniel voice was what I heard next. “You're wounded.”
“Obviously.” I snorted. “Where's the other? Arggh!”
“F*ck it! D*mn!”
We were shot again. I'm sure they won't hurt Rielle. I keep cussing and all I can hear is someone's footsteps.
I just felt a gun on my head. I was covered with my own blood as I lied down on the ground. While Rielle was stopping him. F*ck it! I can't move! I can't clearly see them anymore.
“Come with me, Rielle. And I won't harm your boyfriend.” It was Jake Hart.
I tried to stopped her by looking at her blue eyes. With my blooded hands, I caressed her cheeks before I lose conscious as Rielle's voice keep calling my name.Download Novelah App
