Sadie POV As the day approached, I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement in my chest. It was Harrison's birthday, and I wanted to make it special for him. Our love had grown deeper with each passing day, and I was grateful for the chance to celebrate the man who had become my best friend and the love of my life. I woke up early to plan the day. I knew how much Harrison loved the outdoors, so I decided to surprise him with a morning hike in a nearby nature reserve. The sun was just beginning to rise as we set out on the trail, the cool breeze brushing against our faces. Harrison's eyes lit up with delight as he realized where we were headed. "You remembered," he said with a smile, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Of course, I did," I replied, leaning into his embrace. "I wanted to make this day special for you." The hike was filled with laughter and joy as we explored the beauty of nature together. We talked about our dreams, our future, and cherished the simple moments of togetherness. After the hike, I surprised Harrison with a picnic under a shady tree. I had packed his favorite foods, and as we sat together, he couldn't stop thanking me for making his birthday so memorable. As the day progressed, we returned to the hospital for our shifts, but the celebration didn't end there. I had secretly arranged for a small surprise party with our colleagues. We gathered in the hospital break room, where decorations adorned the walls, and a delicious cake waited for Harrison. When he walked in and saw the surprise, his eyes widened in astonishment. "You did all this for me?" "Of course," I said, beaming at him. "You deserve to be celebrated, Harrison. You bring so much joy and compassion to everyone's lives, and we wanted to show our appreciation." Throughout the party, Harrison was surrounded by colleagues who genuinely admired and cared for him. We laughed, shared stories, and celebrated the man who had touched all of our lives in profound ways. As the day came to a close, I had one more surprise for Harrison. I led him to the rooftop garden, where the city lights sparkled like stars. The setting was perfect for a quiet moment of reflection. I was holding his cake; he looks at me as i sing "happy birthday" "happy birthday to youu... here, blow the candles Sam... don't forget you wish" i said and he smiles before blowing the candles. "what did you wish for?" Harrison looked at me with a soft smile, his eyes reflecting the love and warmth he felt. "I can't tell you my wish," he teased, "otherwise, it might not come true." I chuckled, playfully nudging him. "Oh, come on, Sam. You know you can tell me anything." He took a deep breath, his gaze never leaving mine. "Alright, my wish is to be with you forever, Sadie. To share every moment, every joy, and every challenge with you." My heart swelled with emotion, and I couldn't help but feel a rush of happiness. "That's a beautiful wish," I replied, my voice soft with tenderness. "And you know what? It's a wish that I share too." I leaned in and kissed him gently, savoring the sweetness of the moment. In that simple act of love, I knew that our hearts were aligned, and our journey together was destined to be one of love, companionship, and shared dreams. i looked at him and whispered "yes" he looks so confuse right now "yes?" i smile and nods "yes" "wait... does it mean.." he still hesitates, i laugh at his reaction "yes!" he smiled and pull me into a kiss. "I'm so grateful for you, Sadie," Harrison said, his voice sincere. "You've made my life brighter in ways I never thought possible." "And I feel the same way about you," I replied, leaning my head on his shoulder. "You've brought so much love and joy into my life, and I can't imagine it without you." We sat side by side, the cool breeze enveloping us in a comforting embrace. Harrison took my hand in his, intertwining our fingers. "Sadie, being with you has been the greatest gift of my life. I want to build a future together, face whatever challenges come our way, and cherish every moment with you." A surge of emotion washed over me, and I knew that my heart had found its home with Harrison. "I want that too, Sam," I whispered. "With you, I feel like I can take on anything. I love you more than words can express." We stayed there for a while, wrapped in each other's arms, cherishing the love that had blossomed between us. In the stillness of the night, we felt the promise of tomorrow and the infinite possibilities that lay ahead. As we looked out at the city below, we knew that life would continue to bring its share of challenges and surprises. But with love as our anchor and each other as our constant, we were ready to face it all together. Harrison turned to me, his eyes soft with gratitude. "Thank you, Sadie, for making this birthday so special. You've made me the happiest person in the world." I smiled, my heart full of love for the man standing before me. "You deserve all the happiness, Harrison. You've brought so much light into my life, and I'm grateful every day for you." He pulled me close, and we swayed gently under the moonlight, surrounded by the whispers of the night breeze. In that moment, time seemed to stand still, and all that mattered was the love we shared. As Harrison's birthday came to an end, I knew that our journey together was just beginning. We had faced challenges and triumphs, laughter and tears, but through it all, our love had only grown stronger. With Harrison by my side, I knew that life held infinite possibilities, and I looked forward to every moment we would share in the days, months, and years ahead. Together, we would face whatever the future held, knowing that our love was a beacon of hope and joy, guiding us through every twist and turn of life's beautiful journey.
