I thought I would never cry again. My tears will no longer drip, but now they are coming out of my eyes.
KC quickly pulled me to cry on his chest. For a long time, I hid my resentment from my parents.
"Hush, our youngest's is still a baby. I know your pain, just take that out."
"Did Jenthrix make you cry? That's crazy ah? You're just being courted and made you cry?" I shook as Zeke took me to KC for him I cried.
"She's struggling." only KC said.
"Mind sharing us, Hime?"
"Don't they love me? W-why do they keep on insisting on that fucking wedding? I want to marry the person I love not a stranger!" I start as I punch Zeke's chest. He doesn't complain about what I'm doing.
"I try to kill how I feel for him, but no matter how hard I try I just fall more and more and that's one of the things I'm scared of."
They kept me quiet, they just kept quiet while listening to what I was saying.
"I don't want to drag him into my world, my life is a mess. I don't want him to suffer as much as I did. I don't know what to do!"
Zeke's hug with me tightened even more. I was completely weak because of that hug.
I don't know, what was my fault and it turned out like this? Everything I did for them. I'm a good child, they interfere with my happiness?
"You will always be our little sister. Remember that Nami."
"Everything that happens has a reason Nami. Remember that. We're always behind you no matter what happens. Don't always keep your feelings to yourself. We're here to listen to you. We can be your punching bag if you want." laughed Zeke. I laughed too because of what he said.
I am so thankful that I have cousins who are as understanding as they are. Although we often resent each other, we love each other.
When I finally calmed down, they told me to eat. At first, we ate quietly until they started giving me food that I was supposed to eat. Here we go again to what they do.
Instead of being annoyed, I just laughed at what they were doing. I'm so blessed to have them in my life. Although my parents and I have a problem, I had cousins who would melt the ice that covered my heart.
When we finished eating, the two of them pointing out who would put the food away. In the end, KC won and Zeke is the lucky dishwasher.
Because I knew this is also where they would sleep in the building, I brought out the food, cookies, popcorn, cake, soft drinks, and juice. I have also prepared the movie for us to watch. As I was setting the mini table in the living room, I heard someone ring the doorbell.
"I'll take a look." KC's volunteered and I have already resumed the repairs. Zeke also finished washing the dishes so he set the TV.
"You have a visitor Nami." I looked at KC coming in again and behind him was Jenthrix.
I immediately stand up when I saw him. He might notice that I cried. KC went straight to the couch and sat down while waiting for Zeke to finish.
I approached Jenthrix.
"Have you eaten yet? There's some leftover from what I cooked, I'll just heat it." I would turn around to go to the kitchen when he stopped me.
"Nami, I want to say sorry. I shouldn't have shouted at you. I was just shocked. Sorry for not talking to you." I see the sadness in his eyes. It was also the sadness I saw when he once dreamed.
"It's okay, I know you didn't mean that." I smiled at him to get rid of the sadness I see in him.
"Nami! It's about to start," said Zeke.
"Coming! Let's go? Let's watch." and the two of us approached them as well.
We were all silent while watching. Jenth was on my left, KC on my right, and Zeke next to him.
Though quiet, I could feel the tension in them. I can't blame them, I'm their little princess. The only girl in the family.
Since we were watching horror now, I was no longer surprised when Jenthrix suddenly grabbed my arm. I suppressed my laughter because I was sure he would be embarrassed in front of my cousins. Earlier he wanted to shout out of fear but he just stopped. His hands are also cold. I don’t know if it was because of the cold aircon or because of what we were watching.
My cousins were just busy watching while eating our snacks. They don't notice my movements.
I was surprised that Jenth never removed his hand from my arm. Out of astonishment, I turned to him which I regretted.
"I'm scared, Nami." we only had our noses apart so that our lips could come together.
"What sickness do I have? My heart is beating so fast." I don’t know why that came out of my mouth.
I saw him smile at what I said.
"A very rare kind of sickness. Maybe you only feel that to the person that has a special part in your wholeness or the missing piece in you."
I just silently looked at him. I don't know what to say. I held my breath even more as he slowly approached me. Little by little, his lips were very close to mine.
"Done?! Is that the ending?!"
I am very grateful to Zeke for his complaint on the show.
I adjusted my seat and pretended to laugh at my cousin's reaction.
"Isn't there anything new there? The bloody one to entertain Nami! I'm so stupid to forget my flash drive."
"My flash drive is in the mansion," said KC.
"I'll just take mine to the bedroom," I said and immediately left the living room.
"I found some ice cream in the fridge, I'll just take it." like me, Zeke has left as well.
When I got the flash drive, I quickly went back to the living room. Jenth and KC are talking seriously. I did not approach them first. I don't want to eavesdrop, but my curiosity is killing me.
"I promise, I'm not going to do anything that will hurt her feelings." I heard Jenth say.
"No tears will fall from her eyes."
