"Who is that anonymous person?" Andrea asked as we left the building. She was also curious and asked who the personality was that I had to interview and did not want to introduce himself to me. What does that think of me, soothsayer? I shook my head. "I don't have an idea who he is. I'm just wondering why he doesn't want to say his name?" Andrea shrugged. Chad and Andrea were left in the office because they were chasing a deadline due to their pile of work while Andrea and I could sleep well because we finally finished our articles and we had to prepare for the next job. We even left those two arguing. I felt the cold wind embrace me as we finally got out of the building. "Maybe he's ugly or he's a ghost CEO?" Andrea predicted. "If I'm a ghostwriter, there's also a ghost CEO," she said with a laugh. I frowned. "Ghost CEO? Where did you get that idea?" "I just didn't think of anything," she said laughing. After she said that, she stopped when her gaze turned to the front so I stopped too. "Look, who's here." I slowly approached and was surprised to see Zandy leaning against his car with his arms folded and his legs crossed. He was very handsome while slightly bowed. He was wearing only a simple T-shirt and trousers but his handsome man came out. "Zandy," I heard Andrea call. Zandy looked up and turned to us. I blinked because I felt that I was staring at him. I saw him smile and walk away from the car. Andrea stepped forward and I followed her. I couldn't understand myself but I was tense to face Zandy. I have a strange feeling that I can't explain. "What are you doing here?" I try to keep my voice casual. "Hi, Zandy," Andrea greeted with a smile. "Hi, Andrea," Zandy returned, then turned to me. "I'm here to pick you out, your mom texted me and she wants us to visit them today," he seriously answered my question. "Now?" I asked in surprise. I looked at my wristwatch and saw that it was past eight in the evening. "It's already eight o'clock, it's too late for us to go there," I complained. "Yeah, but Auntie told me, she prepared dinner for us. It's a waste of Auntie 's effort if we don't give back, right? And besides, it's been almost two weeks since we moved. Don't you miss your family, Miles?" he explained. I couldn't understand what I was feeling in the strange tone of his voice as if we were comfortable with each other. I turned to Andrea. She was just looking at us and was amused. I sighed softly. "Ok, fine," I agreed. I always plan to visit them but I always forget because I'm so busy with work. Also, to this day I am still annoyed with them because of this arranged marriage. Because of the many people that can be my husband why it was, Zandy, who has been a part of my past. I turned to Andrea. "We're going, Andrea! Take care," I said goodbye. Andrea nodded, still clearly holding back the smile caused by her strange look at Zandy and me. "Alright, you go. For sure Auntie has been waiting for you there for a while," she said. Zandy smiled. "We gonna go, Andrea, be careful. Bye!" Zandy said fondly. Andrea smiled even more that there was a trace of excitement because of what Zandy said. I can only shake my head here but I know she was just teasing me. "Alright, bye! Be careful," Andrea warned. I just smiled and shook my head at her. After that, Zandy turned around first and walked towards his car. "Good luck, Miles looks a lot better when the wind changes, huh?" Andrea says meaningfully. I raised an eyebrow and frowned. What does it say? "I don't know what you're talking about, Andrea. Alright, we're leaving," I said goodbye again before turning around and following Zandy to his car. I got into his car. Zandy gently closed the door. He walked towards the door of the driver's seat and got in, then slowly started his car. Once again, I felt awkwardness and tension because Zandy and I were close again and it was just the two of us. I don't know how to start our conversation. I kept glancing at him. His face was serious as he looked at the front of the car. "I received the email from the publication and they sent me all the photos during the photoshoot for the magazine," Zandy began. He still didn't look back at me. "Did you like the pictures?" "Yeah! All the photos are good," he replied. I didn't know what to answer so the inside of the car went silent again. "Why did you agree to this dinner? You can resist my Mom's invitation, after all," I inquired. "Are you not busy?" He looked at me for a moment. "Why not, Miles? And besides, I think it's helpful for us if we act like we're in a good relationship in front of them so they won't make a way to get us closer, right?" I frowned. "I don't understand you, Zandy. Do you want us to act like we're in a good relationship in front of them?" me again He nodded. "Yeah! When they see we're not ok, they'll do everything just to get us closer to each other," explained Zandy. "And I know you don't want that either." I didn't say anything right away. He has a point. Maybe our life will be more peaceful if we act in front of them that we are ok so that they will stop what they are doing so that Zandy and I can't get closer to each other. But why is there a part of me that is disappointed? I don't know but suddenly I felt sadness in my heart. Is that why he is nice to me because he pretends we are ok so that our parents will stop us? I don't know why I'm thinking about that and I'm frustrated. "Is that why you're acting ok?" I ask seriously. He turned to me, his face serious. "What do you mean, Miles?" "Is that why you're being nice to me because you have to pretend we're okay?" I continue. "Are you saying that I'm just pretending to be kind to you?" I didn't say anything right away. I avoided looking at him and turned to get out of the car. I couldn't understand myself but I felt annoyed because of what I thought. "Never mind, Zandy, you're right, we just have to pretend we're ok but the truth is we're not," I said in a cold voice. I feel like Zandy is just pretending to me these past few days because of the kindness he shows me. I didn't hear Zandy speak anymore because the car stopped in front of the house. I didn't even look at him again. I'm annoyed.
