SPECIAL CHAPTER

"Do you ever feel guilty?" I inquire to Mrs. Eleanor. She was sitting opposite from me, yet there was a clear barrier between us.
It's been three years, and while I've moved on, I can't forget what she did to my life and Hunter's family. In front of her, I attempted to appear brave.
Her blood flows through my veins, but I'm not going to be like her. I'm not going to do it. I am still her daughter, despite the fact that she abandoned me. That is a fact that cannot be changed.
She just said, "No."
For the nth time, I was disgusted. Her body no longer contains any kindness.
As she sighed, I could see the pain in her eyes and that leave me confused. "I've been doing this for a long time and haven't been able to change anything."
"What are you saying, Mrs. Eleanor, that you can't change anything?" My brows wrinkled, completely perplexed by her statements. "You are making your own future, Mrs. Eleanor."
"Don't be ridiculous." She laughs. "How can I change my future if I'm still locked in the past?" she asked, her eyes welling up with tears, which made my heart race.
"My parents abused me— emotionally and physically. I don't want to be like them, but their blood runs through my veins, and I became like them. I'm insane. I did everything I thought I couldn't do." She snorts and wipes her eyes. "At the age of ten, they abandoned me on the side of the road. I feed myself alone. I am alone, trying to live my life... But pain engulfed me."
"Once they have a contract with Dylan's parents, they only look after me."
And so the arranged marriage begins. She went insane. She swallows the agony and is controlled by it, which is why she did everything she could to destroy us.
When I got home, I couldn't stop crying. I'm still resentful of the fact that I imprisoned my biological mother without realizing how much she suffers. She, on the other hand, deserves it after destroying someone's life and family.
I wrapped my arms over the pillow and buried my face in it. My ears filled with my muffled that I didn't hear the door open and someone walk in.
Hunter raced up to me and sat beside me, asking, "are you okay?" He pats me on the back.
I turned to face him and raised my head. When I wasn't feeling well, he always gave me that worried expression. I hug him tightly and cry on his chest without wasting any time.
"Does anything go wrong while you're visiting your mother?" he inquires. I didn't respond. I have the feeling that something is wrong with my throat.
He waited for me to calm down before releasing me from the hug. He wiped the tears from my face.
"She was abused by her own parents and abandoned, alone and in anguish, and that's where it all began..."
He remarked, "she let the grief and rage control her."
"I had no idea what was going on... I felt guilty for putting her in jail."
"What are you saying?" he asks, his brows barely creased as he stares me in the eyes. "She deserves it, Alexandria. She didn't deserve what happened to her back then, but she chose to be controlled by her hatred, and that's the result of her bad decision."
He said, "she didn't cope with her sentiments adequately back then."
"Mommy?" says Andrew, our kid, as the door opens. "Are you crying?" he asks as he locks the door gently before sprinting over to us.
I take a step back from Hunter and scoop Andrew up into my arms. I place him in my lap and turn to face Hunter.
"Mommy's had a minor emotional breakdown," I explain calmly. I give him a small smile.
"Are you sure you'll be fine?"
"Yes, darling," he says as he wraps his arms around me. "Sometimes people need to cry, and crying makes them feel better."
"Is that why when I cry and you kiss me, it makes me feel better? I fell asleep after you called me down." I smile before nodding at his doe eyes.
I hug him one more. "How come my baby is so adorable?"
Hunter responded, "he got your lips and nose, why do you need to question why he's cute?"
At his small comment, I couldn't help but blush and giggle. His influence lingered on me. I feel like we're still a teenage couple every time he compliments me, my clothing, and everything.
I remarked, "And he got your eyes and face form." He gives me a cheeky smile, which makes me laugh. "Are we eating lunch with Shane and Ayden?" I inquire.
"Lexi!" exclaims Shane, who is looking in our direction as Ayden is busy in the kitchen.
"Shane!" I exclaim, sprinting up to her and hugging her. "How are you?" Ayden asks, his smile widening as he glances at me.
She said, "I'm ok." Hunter placed Andrew down and walked to Shane and Ayden's living room to play on the small playground.
"Does my brother look after you well?"
"Of course, I am," Ayden responses. "If I don't look after them, she might already be in the hospital, battling for her life."
Shane laughs and nudges Ayden on the side. "Yes, he is looking after us," she says cheerfully. She rubbed her hands together and stroked her tummy.
My gaze is drawn to the growing baby bump. "We'll see you soon, baby girl," I say as I stroke her belly button.
Sienna exclaims, "this month is my due date."
I couldn't keep my enthusiasm... I bit my lower lips. "Seriously?"
She replied, "Yes."
"Then the baby girl's birth month is the same as mine?" I guffaw even more. Hunter, who is staring at Shane's baby belly, looks at me. Shane and Ayden burst out laughing.
"Hey," I said, grabbing Hunter's attention. While looking at Shane's baby belly, he appears to be deep in meditation. "Are you all right?"
He glances at me, perplexed, but his face transforms as his lips form a mischievous smile.
"I'm ok," says Hunter
With the pair, we had lunch. Ayden appears to be in love with Shane, and Shane's the same. They appear to be a happy pair.
Mr. and Mrs. Rodriguez have paired Ayden with Shane. Shane assumed it was someone she didn't recognize. But it's her fault; she didn't show up for the dinner where she could meet her soon-to-be spouse.
Noah and Gabby have made a wonderful life for themselves in the U.S. I couldn't believe we were already living our joyful, peaceful lives... Following those traumatic events in our lives.
Hunter spoke out, "Honey." He came from the restroom, dressed in his nightwear. He came up to me and hugged me again.
"Yes?" I say as I shut down my laptop and stand up to walk towards the bed, where he's still clutching me.
"I'm curious," he says. I exclaim, "What if we give Andrew a sister?" I understand what he's saying, but I can't trust it. I'm not interested in learning about it.
My brows wrinkled as I asked, "what are you saying?" I made myself at home in the bed while he refused to leave me.
He trailed off, "I mean."
"Did seeing Shane's baby bump make you horny?" I inquire. I can see him staring at Shane's baby buttocks, possibly imagining things.
"I miss seeing you with your baby bump. It's been almost three years since I first saw you with your baby bump," he says, scratching the back of his neck with one hand while the other holds my tummy.
"Can we?" he asks once more.
I swivel my head to look at him. He, on the other hand, is already leaning in to seize my lips. It began slowly and softly, and when I kiss him back, he smiles.
While the other hand remained wrapped around my waist, his hand moved to my cheeks, intensifying the kiss. He drew me in closer to him.
He murmurs, "I can't wait to feel you again." He examines my nightclothes before pulling them up and discarding them.
He places me on the bed and watches over me. Before bringing me into a deep kiss on the lips, he kisses me all over my face.
He said, "I adore you." I smile as I wrap my hands around his neck. I'm getting butterflies in my stomach once more.
"I adore you as well,"
He laughs as he pulls me in for another kiss, and that night, he made sure Andrew would have a little sister.
It's been a month since Mom contacted me early in the morning from the building where she was working.
"Hello?" I said as I picked up the phone.
"Is this Mrs. Clifford?"
"Speaking, yes."
"Hello, ma'am," the guy on the other side says. "We are asking that Mrs. Clifford be committed to a mental institution."
"What? Why?"
"She tries to sneak out of her room, and she appears to be experiencing mental issues.""Ohh," I give it a second thought. "Yeah, sure," I say. "I think it's the best way for her since she also needs support."
"If you are available, ma'am, I require your signature here."
"Who is that?" Hunter asked as he entered the room ahead of me. His brows wrinkled .
"Yes, my husband and I will go there," I answer. The police officer says "all right" and hangs up.
Before placing the phone on the nightstand, I let out a long sigh. Hunter inquires once more, "Who is that?"
"Mrs. Eleanor caused another commotion in the jail, and the officer decided to commit her to a mental institution," says the officer.
"How did you respond then?"
"I agree," I respond, "it's for her own good as well. She stated that she can't get over her past and that she needs to forget the tragedy of the past in order to transform..."
"You're right," Hunter remarked. "But don't stress yourself too much," he cautioned as he walked behind me, caressing my baby bump and embraced me.
"I'm not straining myself. How can I be stressed?" I turn around and cup his face. "You are always there for me, so how can I be stressed? I don't remember when I become stressed again... Maybe when Andrew doesn't like to eat vegetables, but you made it easy..."
I kiss his forehead, the bridge of his nose, and finally his lips. "I'll never weary of loving you; thank you for always being there for me when I needed someone."
"And thank you for never abandoning me, for always remembering me, and for continuing to love me."
"Well... you're too attractive to forget, and you've already made me obsessed with your perfume, so how can I forget you?" I jokes while he just gggles.
I give him a big hug. I close my eyes to feel his kiss on the top of my head.
Mrs. Eleanor was successfully admitted to the mental institution. Hunter and I went to a book signing. Sebastian appeared on the huge stage, introducing the audience to the book "Broken Love."
The book is a hit for everyone. I adore it as well. I couldn't stop myself from crying. They felt it was a cute book. How Harold and Alexis' affections for each other developed.
That is the story of my and Hunter's love. That's where we began, and that's when Andrew arrived. I gave birth to Andrew at the end of the story.
When I read the entire novel, the feeling feels genuine. When I reread the novel, I find myself remembering about what happened at my old school. The book is like his journal.
After a long period of anticipation... Hunter completes his novel. I couldn't be happier for his accomplishments.
It was our love story, he says behind the book. He isn't lying, by the way. From the beginning of my scholastic career to the point at which we fell in love. Hunter's perspective was the only one that's in the book. Of course, because when he is writing the story, we're still acting like enemies.
When he had to pick between losing his flight or celebrating the graduation with me, my heart melts.
He still hasn't revealed to everyone that he is the real HunterC19.
The most amusing thing is that he included both my and his birth dates, which are August 4 and October 15, respectively. When I discovered the reality behind the number in his username, I couldn't stop giggling.
He placed the book on hold because we are no longer together. As he stated, when he is not with me, his world comes to a halt, and he lacks the guts to finish the story because I am not around for him to write another chapter.
Sebastian adopted Ysabelle, who isn't his biological daughter. I only found out before our wedding.
Adrian and Brian? They were in Canada, on vacation with their mother, Mrs. Lucy.
James is content with his single life. He takes a road trip to Russia to see his grandmother.
Melanie and her companions... Melanie, on the other hand, has not changed. However her pals changes and have their own life now. Melanie still harbors resentment for me.
Shane already gave birth to her daughter. We were hoping to pay them a visit today, but I'm afraid Andrew won't let me. He's aware that we're expecting a child and he's delighted. He also refused to let me and his father go out since he is so concerned about his younger sibling.
My interaction with Shane led to Andrew and her daughter being in an arranged marriage as well.
I agree with her because I know they will properly raise their daughter, and I will properly nurture my kid so he will not harm Shane's daughter.
As I predicted, their daughter will be quite choosy... Ayden would undoubtedly lavish her with gifts.
We took a stroll. Andrew dashes towards the play area. Hunter took over his father's business and made it his own. In addition, he already owns this home. He recently constructed a playground next to our home.
It's for the kids in the residence, he explained, but I don't believe it's for other kids. He wished to have the playground for his children.
Hunter's father was also imprisoned. As a result, Hunter is responsible for the company's well-being.
I'm delighted they went to prison to pay for their crimes.
As a result of the announcement, the company began to go bankrupt. Hunter's face went viral on social media, with some accusing him of doing the same thing as his father because he's a cold, arrogant man.
I'm not sure why they have to term Hunter a cold and arrogant man... His appearance may project a chilly, arrogant demeanor, but he is a warm-hearted individual.
Even though Hunter is a fairly reserved person, some people are excellent citizens and see Hunter's true colors.
When Hunter came out for interviews and to handle the company better than his father, everything just slowed down.
"He's having a good time," Hunter stated. I smile as I stare at him.
"After seeing his sister, he'll be happier," I predicted.
Before staring down at my baby belly, he stares at me. He stroked it. He whispers, "Grow quickly so you can meet your brother."
"Silly, Hunter," I chuckle.
