Chapter 45 Moral Assistance From Rangga

After the fifth stance, the two students at Padepokan Pasir Batang were even more desperate. Their level of intelligence was indeed far below that of Raja Dewa Angkara's subordinates. Rangga, who had been watching their fight earlier, could make sure that in two or three more moves, Sawung Bulu and Badara would be defeated.
Ranga's guess was correct. The two moves took place, Badana screamed loudly. His body swayed, blood gushing profusely from his torn chest. Before Badara could control himself, a hard kick hit his head. No mercy anymore, Badara fell backwards. His head was split open
"Cruel! Devil!"Sawung Bulu growled when he saw Ki Gandara's only son dead.
When Sawung Bulu was off guard, suddenly a hard kick landed on his chest. The main student at Padepokan Pasir Batang fell two fathoms. His chest felt tight, his eyes were dizzy. Sawung Bulu had not been able to set his position, suddenly one of the opponents lunged at him with a pointed spear.
Sawung Bulu, who was already helpless, just resigned to fate. The attack of the person in all black was extremely fast. And when the tip of the spear was at the tip of the hair again splitting Sawung Bulu's chest, a shadow suddenly flashed and grabbed the main disciple of the Padepokan Pasir Batang.
Sawung Bulu's body just disappeared. The spear that almost sliced through his chest pierced through the empty space. This made the four people dressed in all black surprised. They looked at each other
"Lizard! Who dares to mess with the King of the Gods of Angra!" snapped one of them.
No answer at all. Their eyes roamed around. There was no one in this diner. Only the table chairs that look messy and not in a certain direction.
"Humph! The Head of Pasir Batang Village must be held accountable!" snorted the other person again
"We'd better report itthis is for Raja Dewa Angkara," another suggested.
"All right! Let's go!"
The four men of Raja Dewa Angkara's men quickly shot out. In the twinkling of an eye, they could no longer see their shadows. Now the diner is quiet again. There was no one else there except Badara's corpse, which was lying in a bath of blood.
In a short while, Ki Gandara appeared followed by the leaders of Pasir Batang Village and several residents at the door of the diner. Ki Gandara looked surprised to see his son lying with his head broken. Sangkala, Bagaspata, Rawusurkan and two other people seemed to have their mouths shut. They were very surprised to see Badara's corpse and two jet black spears still stuck in the middle of the table and on the ground near Badara's body.
"Where's Sawung Bulu?" suddenly Sangkala remembered his nephew
"Earlier... it was here, Gusti," replied a resident who was also in this tavern. His speech stuttered.
Sangkala's face turned red. His eyes were wildly crawling around him. There's no sign of Sawung Bulu around here. Meanwhile, Ki Gandara examined his son's corpse. Fihat once his two eyeballs filled with tears to hold back tears.
"Who did this?" Sangkala asked the resident who answered earlier.
"The people of King Dewa Angkara, Gusti," said the resident again.
"How many people are they?" asked Bagaspati.
"Four All wearing masks"
"Then, which of you saw Sawung Bulu?" Rawuskan asked. His eyes looked at the residents who had gathered in front of the tavern one by one.
Everyone didn't open their mouths. Their heads slowly lowered. Indeed, no one saw where Sawung Bulu went. Moreover, seeing the departure of four of King Dewa Angkara's subordinates who flew so quickly. They were indeed just ordinary people who were unfamiliar with martial arts
Kl Gandara stood up. His eyes darted to the five village leaders, then looked at the faces of the downcast villagers of Pasir Batang. For a moment the professor of Padepokan Pasir Batang took a deep breath. His hand motioned to his students to pick up Badara's body. Immediately four students of Padepokan Pasir Batang moved
"What we have been worrying about all this time has come true," Ki Gandara's voice muttered softly.
"Forgive my nephew, Ki," said Sangkala regretting Sawung Bulu's actions.
"There is nothing to forgive. Everything has happened. I don't know when the time will come, disaster will come to this village," Ki Gandara's voice was still low.
"I will represent the apology to King Dewa Angkara," said Sangkala feeling responsible. "It's useless, Sangkala. King Dewa Angkara does not look at one or two people. Now he must be held responsible
the answer is all of us."
For a moment all was silent. Pale faces were clearly defined. Everyone understood the meaning of Ki Gandara's words. In time, Pasir Batang village will disappear like Kenanga Village. The contest has been opened. The first victim has fallen. They are just waiting for fate
Sangkala regretted itself for not being able to dampen it
his nephew's young blood. Now it's all too late.
Like it or not, the entire population of Pasir Batang Village had to face the group of Raja Dewa Angkara. Destruction was already visible in the eyes of the entire population. It feels like now the soul has disappeared from the body. One by one they walked away with their faces downcast. No spirit of life. Looks like it's just a matter of time for the angel of death to come to Pasir Batang Village
***
Night is just approaching. The situation in Pasir Batang Village was really like death. No one left the house. They are afraid that death will come first. Meanwhile, in one of the rooms in the village head's house, Dewi Purmita was crying in her mother's arms. Ki Brajananta could only stand with a gloomy face. This morning's incident has made all the residents of Pasir Batang Village desperate. This is very regrettable Ki Brajananta.
"Never mind, Purmita. Everything has happened, no need to cry anymore." the soft voice of his mother.
Dewi Purmita raised her head. Her whole face was wet with tears. He stared at his mother for a moment, then turned to his father.
"Has Kakang Sawung Bulu been found?
Father?" asked Dewi Punnita softly. "Not yet," said Ki Brajananta slowly.
"Why did Brother Sawung Bulu comedo that?"
"He doesn't want you to be made a sacrifice, my son," Subragen replied
Dewi Purmita looked at her mother, then her middle-aged mother hugged her. He already knew that he would be made a sacrifice. All of that has been conveyed to Sawung Bulu. It's clear that Sawung Bulu doesn't want his girlfriend to be a victim. That unwillingness
has been proven withincident this morning.
"I am willing to be made a sacrifice, as long as the villagers live peacefully..." Dewi Purmita's voice grew softer.
"Purmita, my son..." Sutiragen was moved to hear that. "Father should send a messenger to apologize
for what happened this morning. I am willing to be a victim when the time comes," said Dewi Purmita while wiping away her tears.
Ki Brajananta was speechless. His mouth was locked. He just stood there staring at his daughter. In his heart, he didn't want his daughter to be sacrificed. But he couldn't argue anymore. The lives of all the villagers are at stake. What is clear he must resign to accept fate.
Dewi Purmita is the same way. Resigned. For him, life is pointless. Especially since Sawung Bulu has disappeared without knowing where the jungle is.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. All eyes turned towards the closed door. Ki Brajananta stepped and immediately opened it. It was an old woman who knocked earlier.
"The guests have arrived, Gusti," said the old woman, bowing respectfully
Ki Brajananta looked at Dewi Purmita for a while, then stepped outside. His steps looked sluggish towards the pavilion room. In that room, Ki Gandara, Sangkala, Bagaspati, Rawuskan, Wratama, and Paralaya were waiting. They stood up in unison when Ki Brajananta appeared.
"Please sit down," said Ki Brajananta as he sat down. The six leaders from Pasir Batang Village together
seated around a marble table. A moment of silence. No one spoke up first. Their eyes all looked at the Village Head who looked glum and without passion.
"Any news about Sawung Bulu?" Ki asked
Brajananta broke the silence.
"Not yet," said Wratama who was assigned to look for Sawung Buhx
"Isn't it possible that Sawung Bulu was brought to..." Paralayadid not continue the sentence.
"No!" interjected the Swift Trumpet "King Dewa Angkara has never brought a male victim to his lair."
"According to the tavern owner and Pak Bolang, this morning our village was visited by a traveler," said Rawusukan.
"Wanderer...?" Ki Gandara frowned. "You ask the characteristics?"
"Yes," replied Rawuskan.
"What are the characteristics?" asked Sangkala.
"The man is still young, his skin is olive. There is a sword in the handle of a bird's head carving on his back," Rawusangkan tried to mention the characteristics of the nomad.
"Wearing a vest?" guessed Ki Gandara. "That's right, Ki," said Rawusurkan quickly. "There's no mistake," muttered Ki Gandara.
All eyes looked at Ki Gandara
"Ki Gandara know him?"asked Ki Brajananta.
"From his characteristics, he resembles the Sacred Eagle Warrior," Ki Gandara's voice sounded less sure
"Profound Eagle Warrior...?!" almost simultaneously they all said the name.
Who doesn't know the name Warrior Sacred Eagle? A powerful figure who had just appeared, but had stirred up the entire martial arts jungle. It's not only white group figures who feel embarrassed and amazed. Black figures also feel reluctant when dealing with him. There have been many black class figures who died at the hands of this warrior. His 'Sacred Eagle' technique is very difficult to match nowadays.
"Was he at the tavern that morning, Rawusurkan?" Ki asked
Gandara.
"That's right Ki." Rawuskan said quickly
"Hm..., it's not impossible that he helped Sawung Bulu,"muttered Ki Gandara.
For a moment there was silence again. Everyone there focused on the Sacred Eagle Warrior who had appeared in Pasir Batang Village. The sudden appearance, when all the leaders and villagers were gripped by anxiety.
Sangkala had been watching the professor at the Pasir Batang Padepokan. saw that there was a little light in Ki Gandara's eyes. In his heart, Sangkala also hoped that Ki Gandara's guess was right. After all he loves his nephew very much. Since childhood, Sawung Bulu was cared for and educated at Padepokan Pasir Batang with Ki Gandara.
When they were absorbed in their own thoughts suddenly heard the sound of cacophony outside. Ki Brajananta immediately stood up and stepped outside. Ki Gandara and the others followed closely behind. And how shocked they were when they saw the bodies lying strewn in the front yard of the village chief's house.
The corpses were the guardians of this house. They were slaughtered by people dressed all in black. And now Ki Brajananta and the others, were surprised by the presence of a young man who was fighting against four people dressed all in black. The fast fights accompanied by advanced martial arts moves made it difficult for the people present to recognize who the young man was.
"Who is he Ki?" asked Rawuskan who was standing beside Ki Gandara.
"It seems he..., the Sacred Eagle Warrior," said Ki Gandara hesitantly
"Then we have to help him, Ki!" cried Ki Brajananta.
"Don't!" Ki Gandara immediately prevented Wratama and
Paralaya, which was seen to be moving, immediately discouraged them.
"He doesn't need help and can handle it himself," said Ki Gandara. His eyes could not leave watching the fight
As soon as Ki Gandara finished speaking, suddenly there was a long scream followed by the collapse of a person dressed all in black. Then followed another person who suddenly jumped up with a heartbreaking scream, then collapsed and didn't get up again. His head was crushed when it hit the earth. Two more people who were still alive, jumped back two spears away. Now it is clear, who is the young man who fought against four people who seem to be King Dewa Angkara's subordinates. Ki Gandara's suspicions were not off the mark. The young man was the Divine Eagle Warrior who had knocked down two of his opponents with the 'Eagle Claw'.
"Young man! Your meddling will be fatal!" snorted one of the opponents of the Sacred Eagle Warrior.
"Even more fatal if you are still disturbing this Pasir Batang Village!" firm and loud voice of the Sacred Eagle Warrior.
"Demon! You must die!"
Again they fight. The remaining two people clad in black were now attacking more quickly and dangerously. Now the Sacred Eagle uses the 'Eagle Wings Splitting Mega' style. His body became lighter with both feet no longer touching the ground. The young swordsman controlled himself not to fly too high. Only his two hands moved quickly to flick towards the deadly opponent's body parts.
"Look out, chief!"shouted Rangga or the Sacred Eagle Warrior suddenly.
His right hand poked the head of one of his opponents. The man was startled, quickly pulled his head back. Unexpectedly, Rangga's hand
quickly turned around and immediately flicked towards the stomach
"Aaahh...!" the man screamed in pain.
Rangga's right hand wave ripped open his stomach, causing his intestines to spill out. In a moment the man was able to survive. And when Rangga's feet landed on the man's chest, without mercy his body toppled over and collapsed to the ground. Dead. Blood was pouring out of his stomach which was wide open.
Seeing that his friend was dead, the only one left was running away. Rangga did not try to chase that person. He just stood watching the corpses bathed in blood. The bodies of ten guards were scattered around in that place.
The Sacred Eagle warrior turned his head when his ears heard footsteps approaching. Their number is seven people. The two people walking in front looked older than the others.
"I really didn't expect that you would be willing to stop by our village," said Ki Brajananta after standing in front of Rangga.
"Sorry if my arrival disturbs gentlemen," Rangga bowed respectfully
"No, not at all. Precisely we really need the arrival of Tuan Warrior," said Ki Gandara happily with the presence of the Sacred Eagle Warrior in this village.
"If Master Swordsman doesn't mind, please stop by my hut for a while." Ki Brajananta said.
"Thank you," Rangga refused.
"We would be happy if Mr. Pendekar was willing to help the residents of Pasir Batang Village," said Sangkala.
Ranga was silent. His eyes scanned the faces in front of him one by one, then smiled and nodded. Immediately Ki Brajananta invited the Sacred Eagle Warrior to enter his house. Rangga walked flanked by Ki Brajananta and Ki Gandara. Meanwhile, Sangkala and the others took care of the corpses.
corpse for soonburied.

"Actually, what's going on in this village?" Rangga asked after sitting down at the marble table.
Ki Brajananta, who was sitting right in front of the Sacred Eagle Warrior, looked at Ki Gandara. The professor at Padepokan Pasir Batang understood the village head's gaze. For a moment he took a deep breath
"Actually, it's not only Pasir Batang Village that has been hit by a disaster like this. Other villages around the slopes of Mount Babkambang have also suffered the same fate. This incident has been around for ten years. And no one has been able to escape the grip of the King of Gods. Angra," Ki Gandara's voice was low but clear.
"Who is King Dewa Angkara?" asked Ranga.
"He is a sacred figure who is difficult to match. Every seven full moons, we are required to give a sacrifice in the form of a teenage girl," said Ki Brajananta.
"Besides that, we are also required to give a very ensnaring tribute," continued Ki Gandara.
"They were very cruel. One person dared to oppose, as a result a village was destroyed. We did not want to suffer the same fate as Kenanga Village. However, it was too late. One of our children has opened the door of conflict. We don't know what to do anymore. Raja Dewa Angkara will surely burn this village to the ground," Ki Brajananta whispered.
Ranga nodded her head. His chivalrous soul immediately appeared to see the misery. His ears could not hear the screams of suppression. His swordsman's blood immediately boiled violently.
"When will the offering take place?" Ask Rangga"Six more days," replied Ki Brajananta.
"Hm, six more days. Not a long time," muttered Rangga. This Sacred Eagle warrior actually already knows that through his 'Sound Maker' knowledge. But he didn't want to be called presumptuous for eavesdropping on someone else's conversation. So this question was just for fun.
"Now there is no need for sacrifices anymore because the conflict has been opened. The village of Pasir Batang will be destroyed, and the girls will be taken away by Raja Dewa Angkara. All the men, parents and children will die," Ki Brajananta seemed to complain. hope.
Rangga looked at the head of the village sharply. Really dead he didn't think it would be that bad.
"Victims have started to fall. And for the past six days the victims will continue, until the entire population of the village has been slaughtered," Ki Brajananta complained again.
"That won't happen, Ki," said Rangga's firm voice.
Ki Brajananta raised his head. There was a glimmer of hope in his eyes. Meanwhile, Ki Gandara seemed to smile. He believed that the great name of the Sacred Eagle Warrior was not an empty name.
"Until the full moon,I will live in this Pasir Batang Village. Hopefully, the Almighty is willing to protect all the inhabitants of this village," said Rangga again.
"Ah, we are so glad to hear that. We have hoped for a long time to be free from the clutches of that demon," sighed Ki Brajananta.
Rangga smiled slightly, then stood up.
"Where are you going, Mister Swordsman?" asked Ki Brajananta seeing Rangga standing.
"Take a look at the situation," said Rangga and kept walking.
Ki Brajananta and Ki Gandara followed. They met Sangkala who was about to enter
"Sangkala, accompany Master Swordsman to see the state of the village." Ki Gandara said.
"Okay, Ki," Sangkala smiled and nodded.
"Thank you," he said, continuing to walk. Sangkala walked beside the Sacred Eagle Warrior.
They crossed the village head's spacious courtyard, then followed the main road of Pasir Batang village. Until they left the village head's house, no one spoke.
"Where exactly are you going, sir?" asked Sangkala opening the conversation respectfully and politely.
Rangastop in his tracks. He turned to face Sangkala. His ears itch when called by the title master. Rangga patted the shoulder of a man whose age was not much different from himself. It's just that Sangkala's face, which is covered in bushy sideburns and mustache, makes him look older than his actual age.
"You better call me Rangga," said Ranggahumble
Ah, how dare I.
"I'm just a poor wanderer. It's not appropriate to be called sir," Rangga quickly interrupted
"Okay,if so, eh! You want that."
"Well, that would be better. Oh, yes. What should I call you?"
"Just Sangkala."
"All right, Sangkala. Do you know where Raja Dewa Angkara is?" Rangga asked again to continue his steps.
"I don't know exactly. But according to reports he lives on the top of Mount Balakambang," answered Sangkala.
"There's been onethere?"
"No. No one dared to go to the top. The residents who were looking for firewood, only reached the slopes. They didn't even dare to go into the forest."
"You've met the person."
"No one has ever seen King Dewa Angkara. But the people on average have enough intelligence. I don't think ten people like me can match even one of them," Sangkakala modestly.
"Then why did King Dewa Angkara ask for a girl's sacrifice?" Ranga asked again. His lips smiled when he heard Sangkala's humility.
"I don't know," said Sangkala. "Each offering sacrifice was personally taken by the accomplices of King Dewa Angkara, then brought to the top of Mount Balakambang. No one knows what happened to them there. So far none of the girls who have been sacrificed have come back alive. I just never found it again."
"How many people are in their group?"
"Not sure. What is clear is that every seven full moons they come with ten people. No less and no more."
"They always wear all black?" "That's right. That's their thing. No one else
His face can be recognized because he always wears a maskblack."
Ranga nodded her head. the foreheadfrowned deeply, indicating he was in deep thought. The information from Sangkala is not much different from what was said by Ki Brajananta and Ki Gandara. But everything is still confusing because there is no definite solution to face the Raja Dewa Angkara group.
"Where do you live?" asked Ranga.
"At Padepokan Pasir Batang," said Sangkala."Already married?"
Sangkala nodded, blushing.
"You'd better go home, of course your wife has been waiting for you," said Rangga.
"But..." Sangkala was confused. It was impossible for Rangga to be left alone. Ki Gandara's orders did not dare to be neglected.
"It's enough for me to see the situation in this village. Besides, it's late at night. I will tell your teacher later," said Rangga, able to understand Sangkala's worries.
"Okay then," said Sangkala happily. He was indeed tired and sleepy. And again, since earlier his mind had always been on his wife and children, who were of course anxiously waiting.
Rangga patted Sangkala's shoulder before walking away again. For a while Sangkala stood still in his place, then rushed back to the hermitage. The pace is fast, want to get home soon.
