"Stop fussing will you" Aveline thundered at her husband who was following around her like a mother hen all around the office.
She is in her seventh month of pregnancy now.
She had refused to sit idle at home and was adamant on continuing her work for another month and that made Zayed Ahmed al Zidra all the more protective.
"I swear I am going to run away and give birth alone if you don't stop this" Aveline threatened her husband who was standing patiently near her desk with a glass of milk and some cookies
She hates milk!
"Aveline, you need to drink this. And you know I am not letting you out of my sight long enough for you to plan a runaway" Zayed said with a smile all used to his pregnant wife's mood swings and tantrums
"Keep it here. I will drink later" Aveline said, turning the pages of a file
"No. Not later. Now" He said and brought the glass towards her lips
"Stop breathing down my neck, will you??" Aveline glared at him
He only smiled making her more infuriated
"No love" he said and pressed the glass more against her lips forcing her to drink
If the employees around saw the scene, they pretended they didn't because they got used to their boss's pregnant wife's mood swings just like their boss.
Zayed walked inside his cabin after Aveline finished her milk
He didn't want to leave her, at the same didn't want to infuriate her more.
He could see her straight through his cabin glass door, so he could easily keep an eye on her.

He still remembers the confrontation he had with Brianna.
"Zayed" he looked up to see his wife standing there looking at him with hands on her hips.
She calls him Zayed at times

Habibi!! When she is at the peak of passion
"What are you daydreaming about " she asked.
"Nothing habibti. Come sit" he walked up to her
"There is no time to sit. In an hour the school play would start. We need to be there" Aveline said, dragging Zayed out of his cabin

The school has been decorated for the annual day programme
Zahir and Zian are participating in the school drama
Zahir is the prince charming!!
No surprise there!! He might have charmed the teachers into selecting him for that role.
And Zian is a dragon.
Once we reached the green room we saw Zian in a dinosaur costume
Wasn't he supposed to be a dragon??
Aveline had the same doubt and she asked the teacher about the same
"Well, he was supposed to be a dragon.But this morning he gave an ultimatum. Either he be a dinosaur or find someone else to be the dragon. We had no time to train someone new so instead we got the new costume " the teacher said shaking her head
"Sorry Ma'am" Aveline apologised on behalf of her son
"I always wondered how he could be so different from Zahir when it comes to demands and tantrums. I just realized he could be more stubborn than Zahir if he sets his mind on something, " the teacher said, looking at the boys wearily.
"Momma, papa" their princess came running towards them with a bright smile
Zada is more of an off stage girl.
She likes writing stories and poems and she is already good at caricature.
They walked towards the auditorium with their daughter and sat there for the play to begin.
"They could have played Rapunzel," Zada said disappointed.
Because the play was Cinderella.
"This shoe belongs to my princess. I want to see if it fits your daughter" Zahir told the evil step mom and handed over the glass slippers
The two step sisters tried the shoe and it failed to fit and then it was a perfect fit for Ella.
"Oh my prince" the girl acting as Ella cried and moved towards Zahir.
Zahir being Zahir hugged the step sister instead of Cinderella making the audience gasp.
"What has he done?? He is supposed to hug Cinderella. Why is he hugging the evil step sister? And why does that girl look so familiar?" Aveline asked squinting her eyes to get a better look at the girl who is now pushing Zahir away and glaring at him.
"That's Emily, momma" Zada said
Zahir grinned at his teacher who was asking him to hug the Cinderella through sign language.
"Miss Kurian, all the prince charmings hugs only Cinderella. I am different. And Uncle Basim said, people will only remember you if you are different. Now see, our drama has a twist and nobody will ever forget it" Zahir said with a smug smile, earning a boisterous laugh from some audience members.
"What are we going to do with him, Zayed?" Aveline asked, looking worriedly at her son.
"First thing to do will be to stop him from spending time with Basim." Zayed muttered already planning to give his younger brother an earful.
Once the program is over and they were all walking towards the car, Aveline heard a little voice
"Wow Miss! You eat a lot???" Aveline looked down to see little Emily looking at her bulging tummy.
Aveline chuckled
"You are so fat " Emily said and Aveline frowned and looked at Zayed.
"Am I really so fat Zayed?" She asked with a frown.
"She is not fat, silly. Papa has put a baby in her tummy" Zahir said, making Emily glare at him .
"I didn't ask you ,you bad boy" she said, folding her little arms across her chest.
"That's my momma ,so I can talk what I like" Zahir said making Emily huff in annoyance
"Is there really a baby there aunty??" Emily asked looking at Aveline
"Yes sweetie" Aveline said sweetly, making Zahir scoff
"Can I touch and see aunty??" Emily asked
Aveline took Emily's little hands and placed it on her tummy and the baby kicked
"Why is he kicking me?" Emily asked frowning
"He is saying Hi" Aveline said
"Really?? Hi baby!! I am Emily. I don't like your Zahir brother. But I like you" she said, caressing Aveline's tummy, making Aveline smile.
"Emily, mama is calling you" Erick appeared and they soon bid a bye and walked away

"Zayed Zayed. Wake up"
He opened his eyes sleepily and saw his wife sitting on the bed shaking him awake.
"What is it, Aveline?? It's 3 in the morning. Sleep habibti" he said pulling her closer
"I want ice cream " she said adamantly
"You will get cold Aveline"
"You don't love me anymore. It's because I am fat, right" she said, her lower lips trembling and eyes brimming with tears.
Zayed groaned and woke up
"I will bring it now. I bought a tub yesterday, " Zayed said and was about to walk to the kitchen.
"That's over. I ate it yesterday. " Aveline pouted, making Zayed shake his head
"Baby, keep kicking your momma and don't let her sleep until papa is back" he said, kissing her tummy and walking out of the house to buy ice cream.
When he reached back ,the sight which welcomed him was a peacefully sleeping Aveline
He kept the ice cream in the freezer and got into bed with her.
He pulled her into his arms.
"You drive me crazy" he murmured against her hair.
