Chapter Three
At the Science Laboratory, Yang went back to get his some stuffs that left there. He didn't expect that there's some stuff too that left and he didn't know whose stuff is it. He was tempted to look to find out. But no name has written. He took it from the table and placed it in a drawer. He wanted it to keep safe. He would try to ask each of his schoolmates about this, if who lost the stuff in the laboratory. Or what if he told the science professor about this? After taking his stuff that left, Yang left the laboratory room.
Yin went back to the science laboratory because she will try to check if her portfolio left there. She was about to go to her next subject when she noticed that her portfolio was missing. She already went back to those places where she went, but she didn't find her portfolio. Except to the science laboratory. So she hurriedly ran there. As she opened the door, she looked one by one the tables, but all are clean. No left things.
"Oh! Where's my..." She uttered.
She can't focus to listen to their professor, thinking that her portfolio was missing. It has important paper inside. Her research for their assignment in physics was there. She spent a lot of time for this research, then now she just lost it. How could she find her portfolio? 'Cause whoever saw this, can't identify the owner because she hasn't put her name on it. It's just her zodiac sign symbol drawn and pasted inside that may help to claim that she own it. To think about her carelessness made her head hurt.
On the next day, Yang secretly checked the portfolio that he kept in the science laboratory. So that others don't steal it. He just wanted to bring it back to the owner. He hurriedly took it and hide inside his backpack. He's on his way to bring the stuff to the room of Lost and Found even he was hesitating because what if other student will claim the stuff but not the real owner. As he turns left to the hallway, somebody was on her way too that's why the two collided accidentally.
"Oh I'm sorry!" Yang apologizes.
"It's okay." The girl replied.
"Thank you. Sorry again." Then Yang walked away.
Yang knows the girl, it is one of his classmates in some subject. He remembered, that girl that even the weather is not cold or winter, wears a sweater or long sleeves or cardigans. That girl that seems weird because always wearing gloves. That girl didn't use umbrella or cap outside under the bright sun. And that girl seems brought cold whenever she's around because he feels the lessen of his temperature he has.
"Hmm.. that girl is weird. But me too, we're just the same. But opposite." Yang said to himself, then smiled.
While the group of students gathering under the three, Yang tried to ask if who lost portfolio. But no one claimed it. But the one student that approaching and heard what Yang said suddenly reacts.
"Hi.. Can I see the portfolio?" The girl asked.
"Ah.." Yang was hesitated.
"I kept it in my locker. If you want to see, come go with me to my locker." Yang replied.
He knew the girl, but not it's name only the face is familiar cause of course they both studying in the same university.
"Is that yours?" Yang asked the girl.
"Oh.. yes this is mine!" The girl replied while looking the papers inside the portfolio. But she lied. She noticed that it is a research about physics and it's related to their lesson. So she was lucky, it's one of their projects. No need to spend time to research 'cause now she has. She smiled secretly after claiming that she owned it.
"Oh.. wait, I saw the zodiac sign symbol inside the portfolio." Yang suddenly said.
"Ah.. where?" The girl asked stuttering.
"Inside.. It's pasted."
"Ah.. ha ha ha! yeah.. yes. Oh I forgot! 'Cause you know sometimes I'm out of my mind like when I forgot and lost my portfolio." The girl excuses.
"Ah. Okay." And Yang just nodded.
"Is that your zodiac sign?" Yang asked.
"Ah, yes." The girl replied. But she doesn't know that it's not matched to her birthday.
"When is your birthday?" Yang suddenly asked.
"December 13." The girl replied.
"That's not yours!" Yang suddenly snatched the portfolio.
"That's mine! Please return that to me." The girl said.
"The zodiac sign in the portfolio did not match on your birthday." Then Yang immediately left after saying.
It's 10 o'clock in the evening and the crescent moon in the sky can be seen through the window to his bedroom. He closed his eyes and asked himself why he still keeps the portfolio. While lying on his bed, he suddenly remembered the girl when he was a kid. The girl that he touched the palm and transferred heat to its very cold hand. After a while of thinking and wishing to meet again that girl, he fell asleep.
"You woke up late." His mom said.
"'Cause I slept late Mom."
"Why?"
"I can't sleep and I don't know why, Mom."
"There's something bothering you my son? You can tell that to me."
"Nothing Mom, thank you.. ahm.. I need to hurry I might be late to school."
"Okay then, take care Son."
"Bye Mom, I love you." Yang said, then he left.
On the campus of A-Tek Univerisity. Yang sat on the bench with his classmates to do their group project. Then suddenly a group of girls passed by near to them and that includes Yin. Girls stopped when Yang's classmate Eljohn called Luisiana, Yin's friend. Then the surroundings became bit colder.
"Oh.. Why does it suddenly feel cold?" Yang asked in mind. But only he felt it.
"Oh hi Eljohn." Luisiana greets with a smile.
"Hello girls." Eljohn also greets Luisiana's friends.
"How's my godparents?" Eljohn asked.
Because Luisiana's parents are Eljohn's godparents.
"They are good." she replied.
"You can go with me after school, so you can visit them. I will tell my driver to wait you." Luisiana added.
While Yang noticed something's different to his body temperature.
After a bit conversation of Eljohn and Luisiana, Yang's body temperature back to normal, though it's not that normal.
