Bonus chapter.
Mrs. La. Lallana P.O.V.
I woke up early to get dressed for an important meeting. Aaron was asleep so was Lara. I already called Lara's nanny to let her know she would be needed later today.
Aaron was fast asleep I didn't want to wake him up, I already informed him about my meeting last night.
I walked into the bathroom and prepared a bath for myself. The bathroom was large and spacious it was painted peach, the floors were in white. There was a Jacuzzi that could fit three people, a shower by the left. There was a wash basin and a wooden cupboard by the side that contained most toiletries. There was a small peach carpet at the middle of the room and three towels hangers by the wash basin. I quickly took my bath and dressed. I wore a navy blue pencil skirt, a white button up shirt, a navy blue fitted jacket and a transparent hills. I applied a little make-up, powder, mascara and lipstick. I took my hand bag and arranged everything I needed. I was about to leave when I remembered the file I kept on the dressing table. I took the file and headed out.
"Where to ma'am." The driver said once he saw me outside.
"Take me to the grab your food, the one right across the street. I will just quickly order my breakfast then we can leave for the office." I said to him.
I sat in the office waiting for Peter to get me the files, I had an important meeting today. The Italians we're coming. I dropped Lara at school earlier today and headed straight to the office. Aaron and I walked separately, We had a lot of companies so I managed a couple while Aaron managed the rest.
I was on my laptop when my phone rang. It was Aaron. I had a smile on my face when I picked the call.
"Hey baby, how's my baby doing?" I said immediately I picked the phone up.
"Your baby is fine, how are you doing?". Aaron asked, I could sense the smile he had.
"I'm good, how's work?." I asked Aaron.
"Stressful, busy. Just called to check on you, have the Italians arrived." Aaron asked.
"No! I'm still waiting for them, I'm still nervous baby, I don't know if I can do it." Stella said worriedly.
"You can do it, just be confident and show them you own the place and knows how to run it.” Aaron said.
"Okay baby." I said.
I was about to speak when I heard a knock on the door. “ I will talk to you later baby, someone’s at the door. I love you.” I said while hanging up.
“Come in.” I said in a serious voice. A man dressed in a black beans and a white button up shirt walked in, it was Peter, Peter had a smile on his face as always.
“Good morning ma’am, here is your coffee, a black coffee with no sugar, no milk. I have revised everything you need for the meeting” Peter said while handing me over the coffee.
“Morning, Have you prepared the meeting room.” I asked.
“Yes ma'am, everything is ready. The Italians would be here any minute, I suggest we get to the meeting room.” Peter said.
“Okay, no problem.” I stood up and took my laptop. “Peter get the files on my desk.”
The Italian are very important to us, They will add a hide contribution to that company, They wanted to invest in our company and I had to convince them that it will benefit them and be good for their business. The meeting room was right next to my office. Peter has arranged everything perfectly, there was a large center table, it was wooden and long there was black leathered chairs all around. The ceilings were high, the walls were painted in Ash while the floors were in white, there was a coffee making machine right by the left in case any one needed some. The room was spacious and was highly air conditioned. I arranged my files and Peter connected the laptop to the projector.
“The Italians are here ma'am.” Peter said. Shortly after ten men dressed in black suit entered the room, There looked serious, they didn’t say a word, they just took their seats.
Now time to wear the big boss suit.
“Good afternoon gentlemen, would any of you like coffee before I begin” I said in a deep voice. As expected no one answered me.
“Can we get this over with, now a woman is going to teach us how to invest?”. One of the young man said rudely.
“Peter Tell the man when I speak no one else does.” I said loudly. “Today gentlemen, We have been discussing on investing in my company as you can see in the diagram, the sales of the company would increase by 90 percent in the next five years and according to the economic analyst the sales would increase by 50 percent in the next three months. Which means your investments will increase by 40 Percent gaining us more profit. My company has made more sales than your company has Mr. Steven I said referring to the young man that spoke earlier, and I would suggest you allow your senior brother to do the Math.”
“That was wonderful Mrs. La Lallana, impressive. I would sign the contract.” One of the young man said whom I assumed was the owner of the computer. He took a look at the contract and then he signed it. Once the meeting was done. I finished up so work and decided to head home.
Today was a hectic day, I never thought I would be able to do it but I’m happy I got that contract.
