Bonus chapter.
Third person point of view.
Lara stood in front of the gate waiting anxiously for the bus to come pick her up, her parents had already left for work leaving Lara alone with the maids, her nanny was to arrive after she comes back to school. Lara has been waiting for this day, she finally found her lead. She has been looking for him and now she knew where to find him. She needed him to complete her quest. Lara looked over at her watch one more time, She needed to bus driver to come fast so she could leave.
She knew the CCTV cameras recorded everything outside, she needed to play along so her parents won’t suspect anything when they check.
Lara stood for another one minute when she saw the bus speeding it way towards her, Lara smiled. Finally she uttered under her breath. The bus stopped in front of her house, she stepped into the bus getting silence from everyone, no one said anything. No one wanted to, Lara took the first seat next to the door, she looked around the bus to see who she has been wanting to see? Isabell. Isabell sat in a seat behind, Lara gave her a glare that said a lot. Lara sat quietly not wanting to say anything to anyone.
The drive to school was about ten minutes, when the bus stopped by the entrance of the school, every student stepped out apart from Lara, Lara hid behind a chair, all students knew Lara was still in the bus but they were all scared to say anything, they knew snitching on Lara would be their biggest mistake.
Lara hid behind a chair, she knew the bus driver was going to head to the gas station, she stayed quietly until she was sure the bus has stopped right where she wanted it? When the bus driver wasn’t looking, Lara snuck out of the bus, The gas station had not much people, no one paid attention to her, everyone minded their business. Lara looked over at everyone, she needed to go there, time was going.
she quickly took a near by bus she saw, she turned around and saw the bus driver, she gave him a smile and uttered “I left you a present.” Under her breath.
Lara sat in the bus, she didn’t want to say anything to anyone, she was sited next to an old lady, the lady looked pale and miserable, her grey hair covered her face, her skin was wrinkled, she had multiple rings on her hand, she smelt like dust and dirt. She looked over at Lara, studying her.
“I know what you are here for?” The woman said in a wounded voice, She said it slow and it sounded more like a whisper.
Lara looked over at her without saying a word, Lara sat silently she didn’t want to say anything to the woman.
“¿Sé para qué estás aquí? (You will be stopped, you won’t get what you want.)” The woman said again.
Lara looked over, She decided to ignore her, she didn’t want to say a word to her. Lara moved a little bit from her. She wanted to say something, she wanted to do something, the woman kept disturbing Lara but Lara decided to deal with her once she was done. She needed her energy for him, he was her main focus. Lara looked out the window, they were near, she could feel it.
“Ella te destruirá, ella es la que puede detenerte.(She will destroy you, she is the one that can stop you).” The woman said again, this time a bit louder.
Lara looked over at her, she knew what she was talking about? Lara wanted to kill her right there but she needed to save her energy for him, she needed him more than anything.
“Ella te destruirá, ella es la única(She will destroy you, she is the one).” The woman said it sounded more like a whisper, then she busted into a laugh, a laughter that every one heard, she kept laughing and tapping her hand on her lap. She continued laughing then she stopped. The woman looked over at Lara, and gave her a last laugh. She rested her back and she stayed quite till they arrived.
“Adios(Goodbye).” Lara said to the woman while getting out of the bus.
Lara stepped out, the bright sun made contact with her skin, Lara was happy she was finally here. Lara came to a new town, a town far from where she lived. The town where every thing started, the town where he resided? She looked around, the town looked beautiful from where she was standing? She took a long look at everyone, every one looked happy, there was bins all around the town.
She knew where he was? She could track him from here. She decided to walk knowing he wasn’t far, she walked until she finally arrived. She stood in front a house. The house was beautiful and large, it was painted in white and blue, the white was neat, The gates were large painted in black but had a gold on it, There was something written in front of the gate.
“Evan.”
The gates had wires on top, Lara knew that was electric wires. She looked up to see a little boy, he stood by the window, smiling, he waved at Lara. Lara only stared at him. She didn’t want to say anything to him.
there was a garden that had a tree, a large tree that looked of hundred years old. Lara knew that was where he was? She needed a way to get to him. Lara looked up to see the boy still standing by the window. She waved at him this time, he waved back. Lara wanted to look into his eyes but he was too far. She looked back down, she needed to get way to get in. She was looking through the fence when the door opened.
The little boy stood there, He smiled at her with his toy wrapped around his hands.
“Hey, My name is Samuel.” The little boy said.
“Hello.” Lara said.
“Will you be my friend?”. The little boy asked.
Lara was about to answer when she heard footsteps, She quickly hid behind a tree when the boy wasn’t looking. A woman came out of the house, she looked young, her blond hair went well with her flawless skin, she applied a red lipstick and she wore a red dress, she looked rather angry.
“Samuel Why are you outside?” The woman said.
“I wanted to come out.” The little boy answered.
“You know, you aren’t allowed to come out, Come on go back inside.” The woman said. The little boy ran inside. The woman looked around, she adjusted the bin. When not looking Lara went into the house, when the woman was done she went in and closed the door.
Lara stood near the garden, She could hear his thoughts from here. She looked at the garden, The tree was in the middle of the garden, the grass was a carpet grass, there were other plants in the garden, Lara neared the tree. She knew he was there, she could feel his presence. Lara walked slowly near the tree, She placed her palm on the tree and uttered some words.
“Ruego por tu presencia diablo, oh salve satanás. muéstrame el camino diablo( I beg for your presence you devil, oh hail Satan. Show me the way devil.)” Lara said, she closed her eyes slowly. “Sé mi fuerza, mi dador, mi señor diablo( Be my strength, my giver, my Lord devil.).” The clouds became darker and darker, thunder struck loudly, Lara stepped back from the tree, a black smoke slowly came out of the tree. “Por fin(finally).” Lara said.
The dark smoke flew from the tree and entered the palm of Lara. Lara had a smile on her face.
