Kwan POV
“Just go home Audrey, I can handle it” I told her, but she didn't spare me a glance as she walked inside the basketball courtroom.
“Audrey” I called, standing behind her.
“Are you kidding me now?” She flares, immediately she turned to me.
“Do you know how I've been feeling since you were flogged earlier?” Her voice breaks and she swallowed. “I felt useless, I felt like a bad friend” Water were now dripping from her eyes. “I couldn't even defend you back there and…” A smile crept on my lips.
I felt so honored now.
“It's not your fault, Audrey” I hushed her, closing up the space between us. “In fact, I'm forever grateful to you” I wiped her tears with my thumb, and she sniffed, staring at me as I talk.
“You taught me how to stand for myself and I shouldn't look down on myself again”
“I feel delighted right now and do you know why?” “Why?” She mumbled.
“My secret is finally out, and they can never boss me around anymore” I smiled, fanning myself with my hand. “It's a freedom” I shout, my voice echoed. Audrey finally laughed and I felt glad.
“But still, you don't deserve such humiliation all because of love” She rolled her eyes as she says.
“It's a sacrifice, you sacrifice when you're in love, Audrey” I tutor, and she crumpled her face.
“Don't tell me you still like him?” Her eyes widened, and I just chuckled as I turned to the basketballs on the floor.
Audrey clicked her tongue in annoyance behind me. “You're something, Kwan” She grunts.
I just smiled, picking up the balls.
Can I ever stop liking him?
“I'll be right back” I heard her say, I turned to her.
“Where are you going?” I questioned.
“Just hold on, I'm coming” She said, and I watched as she raced out of the room. Hm mm.
I picked a ball and tried throwing it into the hoop, but I missed it. “Ouch!”
I picked another ball and tried again, but same result. This game was really not easy.
But I thought it was kind of an easy game.
I picked another ball and jumped so high to throw the basketball but fell down in the process.
Audrey laughed behind me, causing me to laugh too. She's back?
“I still tried, you know?” I told her, standing up.
“Really?”
I heard the voice, it was not Audrey's voice.
In a swift, I tilted my head backward and saw Seo Yun standing all gloriously behind me.
I gulped nervously and quickly brought my face down. Oh, my world!
When did he get here?
“Shall we play?” He asked in a calm voice, but I refused to look up.
Seo Yun never talked to me, and even if I seized an opportunity and tried talking to him, he would only snub me. What's going on?

“Kwan Bak does it” I heard another voices from his back, I glanced over to his direction and saw his friends behind him.
They erupted in hearty laughter and I felt so ashamed at that moment.
“You're not my type, girl” Seo Yun says after they stopped laughing. “But you could help me with your friend, I like her” Huh?
I swallowed and summoned up some courage to look at him. “Audrey” He said and winked.
I blinked my eyes before lowering my head again.
“I've never in my life felt like this towards any guy except you Seo Yun” Ju won mimics my voice, and they'll laugh so hard again.
A tear dropped from my eye as I listened to their mockery laughter.
“What's going on here?” I heard Audrey's thick voice, I quickly wiped my tear and adjusted my hair. I turned to her, and she had a bottled of water and some pills in her hand. What a friend!
“I just came to say Hi, Kwan” Seo Yun said with a fake smile and I also nodded.
“Bye” He said and turned away, facing with Audrey. “What are you doing here?” Audrey snarled.
“What kind of question is that?” Ju won spoke up. “Here's our training floor, and we can…” “Shut up, you fool!” Audrey yelled and he kept mute immediately.
“Here's our training and we…” I watched as Audrey mimics him, and I just smiled.
“And you” She turned to Seo Yun. “Don't even think about it, you're absolutely not my type” She grimaced in disgust.
“I wonder what Kwan saw in you, I mean to someone as beautiful her to be into someone like you” She spat in disgust.
“Hey! That's enough” Ye Jun spoke up this time.
“One more word from you, then I won't hesitate to ruin your plastic face” She threatened, raising her tightened fist to their faces. She already dropped the water and pills on a seat.
I just covered my mouth with my palm, so I wouldn't laugh out.
The boys cowered, I shook my head.
They were afraid of a lady?
“My friend is over you now, so don't even feel you're important. And let this be the last time I would ever see you around her” She warns seriously. “You don't even worth someone like her, so go meet your type” She stretched her hand towards the door. “She's waiting for you”
Seo Yun and friends fumes and stormed out at once. “Audrey” I ran to her immediately they left.
I pulled her for a tight hug.
“You're an, Angel” I let out my tears.
She just chuckles as she stroked my back, tenderly. After some seconds, she disengaged from the hug. “I just want you to get over him, Kwan” She told me, but I just stared at her.
“That guy doesn't deserve someone like you, you worth more, Kwan” She tutors.
“Promise me you'll get over him” She said again.
But I only stared on, perplexed.
