Hemetus closes his hands. "If you'll step aside then I can guarantee that I'll spare you."
"I came here to put a stop to your insanity, Hemetus." Shremiah summoned blue lightning; crawling all over his whole body.
The wind blows over them as both of them are feeling the intense aura surrounding them.
Meanwhile, at a spot on the vast field of burnt ground, Alamia is sitting on the ground as the head of Semfes is resting on her thighs.
She caresses his head as tears are building in her eyes. "I apologize for being late… why did you have to leave us? Why did you leave my heart aching for you?"
She smiles forcedly as tears flow down to her chin. "You've gone through a lot but thank you for being such a good man who speaks up to his own words.
"Thank you for existing, Semfes."
An overwhelming burst of fire combined with streaks of blue lightning occurs near the castle, and the force of the explosion glides all over the battlefield.
Shremiah lands on the ground and Hemetus appears above his eye level but far away from him.
He aims his hand at Shremiah and releases a huge stream of bright red flame.
Shremiah runs and he becomes a thin line of blue lightning that avoids the flame. The blue lightning line reaches Hemetus and Shremiah appears in front of his naked red eyes.
Shremiah swings his sword and the blue lightning appears and coats the blade of his sword.
"Too early," Hemetus holds the blade and he prevents it from reaching his neck, "I thought you've got something to entertain me but that was all just my false expectation."
The blue lightning on his blade releases an eye-piercing light which makes Hemetus close his eyes.
He opens his eyes once again after the bright light disappears, and everything he's seeing is moving swiftly from left to right.
Shremiah lands on the ground, hence, he throws a huge stream of blue lightning towards Hemetus.
The blue lightning strikes Hemetus and his whole body is trembling. A huge flame comes out from the bright red mark on Hemetus' back.
"What?!" Shremiah yelled.
He jumps backward as the flames strike where he stood. He moves from side to side while avoiding Hemetus' fast punches but he was hit by Hemetus' flaming jab.
Shremiah is pushed by Hemetus' flaming punch until he hits the wall's entrance.
Shremiah coughs and he closes his eyes as he pushes himself away from the wall.
His pupils become bright blue and he vanishes as he moves at an extraordinary velocity.
Hemetus smirks while he remains standing as the flaming tentacles on his back go in different directions.
His eyes go wide as Shremiah appears in front of his eyes, therefore, he swings his sword a lightning speed.
Hemetus jumps backward and then he holds his throat; a huge amount of blood flows from the deep line on his throat.
The flaming tentacles strike Shremiah but he jumps and moves from side to side as his bones are cracking.
"His bones are cracking! He can even move at great speed!" smoke emerges from the deep line on Hemetus' throat, "It's like he's capable of using his own body at an insane level!"
He turns around and his eyes are widening as he's seeing Shremiah in front of his own eyes. He strikes Hemetus' body with his sword at such speed that blood gushes from his lip.
"I'm prepared to kill you," Shremiah tells Hemetus without any hint of pity, "now, die."
He's moving his sword towards Hemetus' head. Hemetus' red eyes are glowing brighter as he's gritting his teeth, and multiple flaming tentacles emerge from his back as red shining lines appear on his naked body.
"I'll avenge my past!" Hemetus holds Shremiah's sword and he breaks it, "Not you with such trick can stop me."
"He ascends to another form?" Shremiah's blue eyes are beginning to fade, "this heat, this power! Is it coming from him?!"
Hemetus thrusts his other hand towards Shremiah and it reaches Shremiah's chest.
Hemetus' fist is put to a halt before hitting Shremiah's chest.
Multiple blades emerge from his whole body. Hemetus coughs while a woman is walking towards him.
"I've hated you and your kind," Lyn tells Hemetus, "but what I despise more is you who abandoned his comrades for such a shitty wish."
"You're a disgrace." Lyn stopped walking and she pointed her hand at him.
"You moron!" Hemetus yelled in anger.
The blades which emerged from his whole body are beginning to melt at a fast phase.
He looks in front of him as Lyn and Hemetus are standing afar from him.
Hemetus runs toward the duo whilst they run away from him at such speed.
They halt beside each other. Lyn moves her eyes toward Shremiah. "What should we do?"
"We–!" Shremiah looked upward.
The ground underneath them explodes as huge flaming tentacles emerge from the ground, therefore, the flaming tentacles grab both of them and slam them on the ground.
Lyn and Shremiah are inhaling and exhaling at such a fast rate while burning marks can be seen on some parts of their whole body.
"We're u-useless." Lyn touched the ground and pushed herself but she fell.
"I won't give up!" Shremiah touches the ground and pushes himself until he's standing on his own feet, "I was raised to be a strong warrior and I will die as one!"
"Well," Hemetus manipulates the large flaming tentacles toward Shremiah, "it will be my pleasure to grant your death."
A gigantic ice chunk falls from the sky down to the large flaming tentacle and Hemetus is shocked at the sight.
A woman flies down above the ice chunk, and she points her fishing rod at Hemetus whose eyes are fixated on her.
"I don't think that you'll become like this, Hemetus," Alamia narrows her eyes at him, "Hackilion trusted you! Yet you slaughtered him like he was nothing to you!"
Hemetus breathes triple tremendous fireballs toward Alamia yet she breathes a larger stream of water which extinguishes the tremendous fireballs.
"You got guts to face me," Hemetus said.
"I'll finish you." Alamia jumped from the tremendous ice chunk.
She flies toward him, and she summons a gateway that releases a huge force of water that strikes every humongous fireball going toward her.
"You've grown too strong!" Hemetus releases flaming wings from his back, hence, he flies toward her, "I'll bring you down myself!"
Her long blue hair starts to shine, and she swings her fishing rod at great speed; the blue glowing fishing line strikes Hemetus yet he flies from side to side away from the fishing line.
Hemetus releases a large volume of flames which she extinguishes with water occurring from the opened gateway.
She summons a large chunk of ice above Hemetus, therefore, he looks up and the fishing hook deepens into his flesh.
Alamia slams him on the tremendous ice chunk above him.
The large ice chunk bursts to pieces as Alamia pulls Hemetus towards her. Hemetus holds the hook and pulls it from his skin, hence, he aims his hands at her.
"Why can't I?!" his eyes grow wide, "my flames! They aren't working!"
Cold wind hovers around them; solid frozen pieces appear as Alamia points her index finger at him.
From her index finger, a long colossal solid ice blade manifests and it reaches Hemetus.
The bright red mark on his back glows even brighter and it releases tremendous flames as smoke is occurring from his skin.
Hemetus floats and raises his hand which blocks the ice blade, and it breaks apart and melts immediately.
A huge force hovers all over the ground as a tremendous force of wind glides everywhere.
"The kid, he's not here!" Hemetus' eyes are widening as his hands are closing, "so that's why they're preventing me from reaching him!"
Numerous colossal ice chunks appear above him and they fall to him.
Alamia swings her fishing rod and its blue shining fishing line wraps around the ice chunks. She pulls her fishing rod and all of the colossal ice chunks go down to Hemetus.
The surface of the ice chunks breaks and Hemetus flies out of it. He releases colossal bright red flames toward her which manifest onto serpents.
Alamia flies straight to the serpents, she releases strains of water from her lip which slaughters the flaming serpents.
Both go closer to each other; throwing swift punches and kicks but Alamia generates a huge water stream from the nearby gateways.
The huge water stream strikes Hemetus away from her. She moves her hand toward the water and it turns to solid ice along with the other water streams carrying Hemetus.
She flies onwards to Hemetus. He releases a large volume of flames from his skin which melts the ice and it evaporates into the air.
Hemetus releases huge flaming wings from his back as he flies at great speed toward Alamia.
She opens huge gateways at each of her sides; water emerges from it and heads toward Hemetus.
The water strikes Hemetus. His eyes widen as Alamia is emerging from the water, therefore, she swings her fishing rod; the fishing hook penetrates Hemetus' flesh.
A part of her memory flows inside her mind, on the battlefield, she's sitting on the ground while she's caressing Semfes' hair.
"What will I do?" she asked him.
A feminine voice echoes in her mind. "Hey! We need your help."
"Ranaliantra?" her eyes widen, "what are you doing? Where are you?"
"Escarfra and I are resting but Hemetus, he betrayed us," Ranaliantra tells her, "I don't think that I have sufficient power to stop him but I'm not putting my hope in your power."
"What exactly do you want?!" Alamia yells at her, "Do you want me to bring you food or anything?! Just tell me!"
"Stop being mad you asshole!" Ranaliantra suddenly smiles, "I can't fight with you, but please stop him."
Alamia blinks her eyes as she's swinging her fishing rod towards Hemetus; she's witnessing his eyes which are filled with anxiousness.
She yells, "I'm sorry but I have to put you down!"
Hemetus starts to glow to the color of red until he releases a tremendous explosion of flames which pushes Alamia away from him.
A tremendous smoke occurs after the vast explosion, and Hemetus flies from it as Alamia pursues him by flying.
She goes closer to him as her blue eyes are glowing brighter. Multiple streams of water extend toward her from every opened gateway.
"You don't have to do this!" she wrapped his whole body with water, "I need you to think about your comrades' feelings."
"Hackilion destroyed my family," Hemetus narrows his eyes at her, "I hid my misery all these years! This! This moment is my only chance to avenge what I've lost."
Alamia freezes the water which is wrapping his whole body except for his head.
She swings her hands gently from side to side as they're surrounded by water; they're covered in a huge sphere of water and it begins to shine a bit.
Hemetus witnesses himself laughing with Ranaliatra, Tobias, and Hackilion while they're sitting on a wooden bench inside their wooden mansion.
"You've been through a lot but it's not just you that lost everything," Alamia calmly tells him, "Hackilion lost his daughter, Ranaliantra lost her mother, and Tobias went through a lot of unfortunate experiments.
"After all that they went through, they never went through an opportunity to destroy this world."
Hemetus narrows his eyes as smoke is occurring from the sides of his lip. "What about me?! It isn't just fair that I belong to those who lost everything that they cherished!"
The ice around his whole body is releasing a cold wind as the red lines on Hemetus' whole body are shining.
He says, "Because of him! Because of him, I lost my life! I lost what I should have become–!"
Alamia points her index finger at him. "So you're going to destroy this world?!
"There are so many children with bright futures! Innocent people who don't have a thing to do with your misery!"
"I'm sorry," he moves his head downward and begins to bite his teeth, "but I'm not you or them who can just go ahead in life and just forget the pain that you and the others went through."
The ground all over the battlefield begins to shake, and on a wide field of soil, Hackilion is standing in front of Kukira whose eyes are white.
"Kukira," Hackilion said.
Kukira releases tremendous green lava from his mouth, and a woman appears and summons tremendous lava from her hand which counters the green lava.
"Stop, Kukira," she tells him, "this isn't you."
Meanwhile, inside the large water sphere, Alamia is grimacing at Hemetus whilst he's chuckling.
"Soon, Arak will be awakened," he remains chuckling, "and I will get my wish!"
"I'll sacrifice my life if that will prevent you from reaching him!" Alamia announced.
