At the battlefield, Maria, Escarfra, and Revior have their legs folded a bit.
"Escarfra," Maria turns around, "I need you to do something important."
Escarfra looks at her. "I can't understand you!"
Hemetus looks down and stops speaking unknown words. He speaks while staring at the trio. "I am quite annoyed by what I am seeing.
"Are you three here to be killed or are you three here to finally succumb to his will?"
Revior summons a tremendous magma wall from the ground.
"You fool!" Hemetus threw three gigantic fireballs at the wall.
Escarfra moves her hand to Maria's forearm and pats it. "What do you need, old lady?"
Maria's eyes glitter as her lip curves upward. Hence, she raises her other hand and slaps Escarfra's neck whilst the ground and wall near them shake a bit.
"You are aware that I trust you. That you are a sister to me," Maria begins to speak, "we've been together for so long... honestly, you were like a sister to me."
Escarfra continues to stare straight into her dear friend's eyes.
Maria moves her hand toward Escarfra's hand; wrapping her whole hands on Escarfra's hand.
"Please, protect Kukira and bring him out of here," Maria told Escarfra.
Revior throws another multiple gigantic fireballs at the tremendous magma wall. The wall only shakes as cracks grow on it whilst Revior has his hands pressing on the wall while grimacing.
Escarfra shakes her head and pulls her hand from Maria's grasp. "But I don't want to leave my father and my sister on a battlefield!"
Maria sniffs. "I can not blame myself if I witness my dear friend and only sister being harmed!"
"But this is a battlefield that both of you can not win!" Escarfra yells at Maria, "I am needed here! And you can not–!"
Maria holds her face, and Escarfra's eyes narrow as she's seeing tears falling from Maria's eyes.
"I would rather die than witness you die on this battle." Maria let go of her face.
She steps closer to Escarfra and embraces her. "We'll buy you time. Please, don't waste our sacrifice and just run away, Escarfra."
The wall collapses but Revior immediately jumps backward. He pulls a magma-long sword from his waist while narrowing his eyes at Hemetus.
"I'll rather die than worship that scum!" Hemetus declared.
Revior turns around and sees Escarfra looking at him.
He begins to smile a little. In his eyes, he witnesses her as a child while growing up as a lady.
He calmly says, "We may not fulfill the missing time that we have, I am thankful for fighting with you, my daughter."
Revior turns around and immediately jumps aside only to avoid a large chunk of magma.
Maria gently pushes Escarfra on her chest. She hurriedly moves away while the duo fights Hemetus.
Hemetus lands on the ground. He moves away from the swift swing of Revior's magma ax.
Hemetus stops Revior's ax by his foot. "Slow and pathetic."
He looks to his other side and crushes an incoming fireball with the thick stream of fire he breathes.
Maria goes to his other side and swings her burning knife on his waist; leaving a burning deep line on his waist.
Revior let go of his ax. He runs closer to Hemetus and pulls two magma-long swords from his abdomen.
He thrust the long swords into Hemetus' chest.
Hemetus glares at him and slaps him but before he slaps Revior: Maria cuts his hand.
Hemetus breathes a large fireball which strikes the duo. Revior and Maria hit the ground while rolling on it.
Hemetus runs onward to the duo while Revior and Maria stand up. Hemetus reaches Revior and slams a fireball at his face which pushes Revior away.
Maria breathes multiple fireballs at Hemetus which hits him. He walks toward Maria while withstanding the fireballs.
Revior dashes in between the two. Red glowing lines glow on his dark hard skin.
He pulls a glowing magma ax and glowing magma short sword from his shoulders and strikes Hemetus.
He steps backward as blood is flowing from Hemetus' wounds.
Hemetus emerges flaming magma chains from his back, therefore, he strikes Revior at great speed while Revior strikes them with his weapons.
Revior steps closer toward Hemetus and cuts his hands but Revior dodges his sword and ax.
Hemetus scowls. "His attack has the property that 'he' does not want to exist!"
"You talk too long," Revior runs toward him, "I'll finish you right here! Right now!"
Revior strikes Hemetus with his weapons, and Hemetus releases tremendous flaming hands from his back.
The tremendous flaming hands have been cut by Revior's swift flash strike of his magma ax and magma-long sword.
Hemetus' eyes grow wide while Maria is going closer to his waist. Maria is pushing her glowing red knife into his skin while going closer to his waist.
"Closer!" Maria yelled.
Hemetus releases a huge stream of fire from his palm which hits Maria. He looks at Revior and summons magma blades from the ground which pierce into his flesh.
Hemetus smirks while looking at Revior. "You almost had me there.
"I thought you were a loyal servant of Arak."
Meanwhile, Obiel coughs blood as his pupils are becoming white bit by bit.
"His blade!" Obiel yells, "It has that thing!"
During the interim, Revior begins to grimace at Hemetus.
Revior looks straight into Hemetus' eyes. "Arak killed many races! He must be stopped!"
Hemetus chuckles. "Do you think I care? I just want to change my past into a past that I deserved."
In the interim, Maria opens her eyes while laying in a crater. She sees a part of her memory.
In that memory, it was an afternoon wherein the sun is shining while a soft gentle breath of the wind is hovering all over the land.
Maria is walking with Kukira inside a forest. She's staring forward while glancing at him.
"I would love to see animals," he said.
Maria looks down and up. "What animal?"
Kukira rubs his chin. "Maybe... I want to have a cow."
"A cow? Kids like you these days would be happy to see a dog," Maria calmly told him.
Kukira yawns. "Am I doing a great job in the orphanage?"
Maria remained relaxed. "Of course, you're one of the wise children I know."
"Then is it wrong if I brag that I deserve to own a cow?" Kukira asked.
Maria rolls her eyes, thereupon, they walk and walk until they see a house.
There, Maria is standing in front of a middle-aged man while Kukira is sitting on a piece of log near them.
"What is she doing?" he tilted his head.
"Well, that kid is rare." the middle-aged man laughed.
Maria closes her eyes. "He's weird, not rare... a kid wanting to see a cow is strange."
The middle-aged man inserts his pinky finger in his ears. "Well, can you blame the simple ambition of the lad?"
He looks at Kukira only to see him talking to a flower.
He looks back at her. "Well, I would be glad to give him a free cow."
"But isn't it unfair that you would just give him a cow?" Maria angrily asked the middle-aged man.
He puts his hands on his waist. "I am witnessing an ambition on the verge of being destroyed!
"It's promising to witness a lad desiring something! I would give him a free cow just for his ambition to be true."
Later on, Kukira is rubbing the side of the cow while carrying the rope tied to its collar.
"Thank you, Maria!" Kukira grinned while looking at her.
Maria's eyes glisten as her heart beat faster. She turns her eyes aside.
"Well, just be quiet, and don't tell Escarfra about this!" Maria told him.
Kukira nods, and he looks back at the cow, and continues to rub its side.
"Happy birthday, brother," Maria smiled softly while looking at Kukira who walked across her.
Presently, Maria pushes herself upward until she's standing on her feet.
She grits her teeth. "Someday, I can tell you the truth without fearing anything, Kukira!"
Meanwhile, Revior's eyes begin to glow as Obiel breaks to pieces.
"Sorry, old friend." Revior broke free from the magma blades.
Hemetus turns around only to be hit by a gigantic magma hammer.
Hemetus hits the ground and a crater manifests underneath him.
Maria halts beside Revior. She looks at him and says, "For the sake of the human race?"
"I hope we'll bring him down." Revior sprinted towards Hemetus.
"My goodness." Maria tightly held her knife.
She begins to run after Revior. Hemetus arises and releases large flaming chains from the mark on his back.
The chains fly toward the duo. Revior throws the gigantic magma hammer towards the chains, and the hammer bursts; creating a huge explosion that pushes the chains away.
Maria breathes lava from her mouth as Revior manipulates the lava; creating large multiple arrows and they strike Hemetus.
Hemetus dodges the arrows and throws enormous fireballs at the duo.
Revior touches the ground and summons an extreme volume of lava that destroys the enormous fireballs.
Maria and Revior run in the direction of Hemetus.
Hemetus generates large flaming wings and levitates. Hence, he flies toward Maria.
She raises her hand and catches a magma-long sword. She breathes fire on the blade of the long sword, therefore, she cuts the incoming hundreds of flaming arrows.
Multiple magma platforms arise from the ground in front of her. She steps on them; until she reaches the final magma platform.
"Fool!" Hemetus began to inhale.
Maria leaps over the edge of the platform, therefore, she twirls her whole body while reaching him.
She breathes bright flames on the blade of the long sword.
"Hemetus! It'll take one long sword," she throws the magma-long sword at him, "to finish you!"
The magma-long sword penetrates his chest, and his eyes are shaking along with his breath.
Revior pulls the magma-long sword from his chest and proceeds to break it with his bare hand.
His eyes glow into the color of red, and then he opens his mouth.
A massive stream of fire emerges from his mouth, and it strikes Maria along with the magma platforms; melting them to pieces.
"No!" Revior yelled while running towards Maria.
Hemetus lands in front of Revior. Revior pulls two magma hammers from his back, hence, he strikes him but Hemetus destroys them with his bright fire.
"My wish will be granted." Hemetus pierced his chest with both of his fingers.
Revior's breathing fastens while blinking multiple times.
Hemetus deepens his fingers inward into his flesh. "The soul user or the one who can use the soul to reverse any occurrence."
"Shit," Revior spoke.
"Do you know why you can't use spiritual reverse as of now?" Hemetus laughs a bit, "I exist only with the sole purpose of countering your ability."
Revior looks upward and sees Hemetus looking down at him.
Hemetus tells him. "In other words, I am your downfall."
Hemetus rips him in two, therefore, he throws his body away from him.
Revior's eyes are closing. "Is this the feeling of dying once again?
"But I don't want to go yet... I didn't get the chance to say goodbye to my daughter.
"But it doesn't matter, because I all those moments, I value them because she's with me upon creating those memories."
His eyes seal. "I entrust everything to you, my yellow embers."
"Father." Escarfra fell to her knees.
Hemetus slowly turns toward Escarfra.
"So, you've returned," Revior spoke.
He coats his hands in his flames. "I am grateful, I don't have to fly just to find you."
He runs toward Escarfra but she remains on her knees; frozen while staring at her father's fading remains.
"Father," tears build in her eyes and they fall to her cheeks, "I am a disappointment."
A man lands in between her and Hemetus. His right metallic hand manifests onto snakes, and they all strike Hemetus.
He dodges the snake and flies toward the sky. He looks down at Maria and sees a familiar figure.
"Tobias!" Hemetus snarled.
Tobias coats his whole body in iron. He generates metallic wings and flies toward Hemetus.
"I am going to bring you back to your senses!" Tobias declared.
He turns his hands onto a sphere with spikes. Hence, he hits Hemetus but he strikes them away from him.
Hemetus punches his face but Tobias remains glaring at him while keeping his face straight.
"Your fire might be strong but will is stronger!" Tobias grew a large metallic blade from his chest which penetrates Hemetus' chest.
Hemetus coughs and he is hit by Tobias' metallic hammer.
The metallic blade melts. Hemetus touches the melting metallic blade and pulls it away from his chest.
Tobias enhances the size of his hammer, and then, he strikes Hemetus' face but he breathes strong fire which hits Tobias' face.
Hemetus hold Tobias' neck and slams his face on his knee.
"Such weakness," Hemetus lifts Tobias and raises him at his eye level, "you can not bring me back. Like your own kind, you like to break your words don't you?"
Tobias opens his eyes and holds Hemetus' wrists; pushing them down from his neck.
"I will bring you back to the Hemetus that I know!" he kicks Hemetus' face, "I promise!"
Multiple burning chains emerge from Hemetus' back, thence, they strike Tobias and smash him on the ground.
"The one you know died." Hemetus threw massive fireballs at Tobias.
His burning chains disappear and he swiftly breathes multiple times.
Tobias turns into his gigantic form. He yells while swinging his enormous metallic blade toward Hemetus.
Hemetus releases a tremendous flaming hand from his mark. "Be aware of your limitation."
His tremendous flaming hand holds the enormous metallic blade. He obliterated the blade by releasing a humongous fireball from his other hand toward the blade.
Hemetus points his other hand at Tobias whose eyes are widening.
"Tell me, how can you human be so delusional?" Hemetus pierced Tobias' abdomen with his thick flaming blade which emerged from his fingertip.
Tobias' eyes grow wide while he falls to the ground.
"I just want to talk and live with the person who helped me grow into a powerful version of myself," he started to turn to his original size.
"Can we just go back?" his eyes turned dull as his metallic skin turns to its original state.
Hemetus chuckles while raising his hands. "Now, no one can stand in my way."
Ergo, he starts to say unknown words causing Escarfra to lose consciousness as the unconscious Kukira flies toward Hemetus.
White energy covers Kukira, and Escarfra levitates next to the other side of Hemetus.
An overwhelming force moves the entire land, multiple volcanoes begin to erupt as the sea turns red and produces huge aggressive waves.
Embers begin to fall from the red clouds.
An enormous deep crack forms on the ground near Hemetus; creating a huge hole.
Hemetus joyfully yells, "My wish! It'll finally be true!"
Multiple massive blue ice chunks appear above the hole as blue energy chains tie them on the ground near the massive hole.
"This is my last stand!" Alamia declared while standing on one of the ice chunks.
