Chapter Thirty - Three.
( Luna's pov)
Ever had a feeling something was growing inside of you? Not a child. But a thing. A force. A conviction. Worst of all, doubt? Through out the time I was locked up with Shelby in this room, it has been so quiet that I now question my own voice. Why was I quiet? I was supposed to be talking some sense into her head. Maybe I gave up cause I saw that she had already made up her mind. Although I couldn't see her perspective very clearly. Her explantation was ample to me.
   But with the silence I suddenly felt like I was missing something. Something very important. Something that could make me understand what was going on. Why I was a major character in this drama. From all I know I was just a normal princess who doesn't even know how to fight for her people. Who had no knowledge on how to harness her gifts let alone be a mighty 'chosen' one. All these wasn't making sense.
   I lifted my hands with my palms spread out in front of me. I starred at them in confusion. I was told that I was strong. Grandma always told me I was my mother's star and the saviour of the astral realm. Storm also tells me that I'm someone great and that was one of the reasons he agreed to stay in the mortal realm and watch me. Hadrian tells me I'm more powerful than I think or know. They all saw something. And whatever it was, I wasn't seeing it. I wanted to so badly. The curiosity was killing me. The suspense was breaking me. What if I knew how to stop all this and was too ignorant to find that out? What if I could end the chaos like I've always been told.
   I glanced at Shelby who seemed to be in a very vase world of her own. Maybe one that probably didn't have Rhea in it. At least that was better than being stuck here with no way whatsoever to go out.
   I fell asleep. But I did not sleep. I was sucked into a dream. But it didn't seem like a dream. It was a …. Memory?
    It was really beautiful out here. The birds chirped songs of resolution. The wind whispered comfort. I could hear the symphonies of the plant as they spoke oxygen to the air, balancing the life source. I saw a pond. It's colour was as blue as the sky with lotus floating on the top. I staggered over to the pond. I fell to my knee and looked into the pond at my reflection. It wasn't me. No. I did not have blonde hair and I was most definitely not an albino. But there I was staring at the face of someone I didn't recognize. Why was I in this body? This was not my body. I backed away from the pond with shock falling on my hands and sustaining few bruises on my palms but what happened next left a chill down my spine. The waters from the pond swirled and I saw as droplets arose from within the swirl floating to where I was was. There lifted my hands. I was not even in control of my body. Few droplets of the water fell on my hands and immediately the bruises were gone. It disappeared like nothing was there. And then the swirl stopped.
   But then the lotus arose and then bent towards me like there were bowing down. I was utterly astonished. The birds flew down and some perched on my shoulders while the others on hands. Some that couldn't find a place on me, stayed on the ground. Although I couldn't understand what was happening. I was in no place to make them go away as I've always been an animal lover. I heard the rustling of dry leave and turned to find rabbit hopping towards me. Not just a rabbit! There was a kiwi, a little panda, an antelope and I could see more approaching. As sweet as the sight was I was tempted to run but I was also afraid of the fact that I would pursue the birds and so I stayed still, holding my breath. Acting normal human was the best way to escape this kind of situation. The birds were calm. Some where already napping on my body. I focused on the birds when spontaneously I felt a wet tougue on my cheek and it was the panda. I was stunned to see many animals surrounding me. I didn't get the time to admire them because someone called and they all took a quick return.
  " Crystal!?" The voice called. Who was Crystal?
  "Crystal where are you?" Came a different voice.
    Someone appeared from the woods and she smiled at me.
  " There you are!!" She said looking at me. I was so confused and I wanted to ask who she was talking to but the scene closed up in my face and I was thrown again into darkness.
    I appeared in a garden filled with beautiful and colourful flowers and in the middle of the garden was a sculpture of woman. The one I saw from the pond reflection.
   " Luna my dear." A voice called and I knew whose voice it was immediately.
  " Mother?" I spun and saw her behind and then I engulfed her in a very tight hug.
   " You don't have time." She stated suddenly.
    " What are you talking about."
    " Rhea is doing something to you."
     " I know. I had a very weird vision."
    " No. My child that was not just a normal vision. It is the source speaking to you."
    " I can't do this anymore. How am I connected to the source? How is any of this madness connected to me? I just wanted a normal life. I never asked for any of these." I snapped. Gritting my teeth.
   She moved closer and placed her hands on my cheek drawing me in as she placed a kiss on my forehead.
  " I do not know these answers dear!" She said eyes filled with pain and sorrow.
   " But you're my mother." I blurted. I was too tired to rationalize anything at the moment.
   She smiled.
  " Listen to the source and you'll find your answers." She said. The darkness closed in and I was sucked back to reality. I gasped as my eyes opened only to see my family.
   But they all were unconscious. I turned towards Shelby who was still awake and not sleeping. She didn't know how that was scientifically possible. Oh it was. Insomnia.
   " I hope you know how to make them wake up?" I asked.
   " I am not allowed to do that!"
   " Then I give you permission. And yes I need them alive!" I instructed with a voice I didn't recognize as mine.
  There was just one churning thought in me. Who was Crystal?
