As I sat on the skids, I looked down and try to see how the three of them are doing, though I can only see specs of them, like ants, I can still make out where Azriel is because of his wings. The trio was each fighting a monster, and for some reason, they are gathering at Mr. Roth’s house. I need to do this quickly, the monsters are outnumbering us, I thought. I got inside of the helicopter, fighting off the guards who accompanied Mr. Roth. Once I got him alone, I was panting from fighting. “Couldn’t get enough of me?” he asked as he wiped his sunglasses with a handkerchief. I went closer to him and punched him in the face, then grabbed his shirt, “why was my father’s name in that flash drive?!”               
He laughed, “so Collin showed it to you, eh? But if you actually did take a look at it yourself, you’ll know why your mother died.”
“What does my mom had to do with this?”
“You’re mom isn’t your normal guardian angel. She’s not a Seraphim either. She was an Archangel. Michael’s twin sister.”
Anger rose inside of me and started punching his face until his lips were busted. “Get angry all you want but that will not bring her back. Did you even know how she died?”
“She was hit by a –“
“A car, yes,” he suddenly said, “my ability is to control anyone I can. I cannot control monsters, demons, angels, and gods. Hence, I couldn’t control you. Your angelic grace was getting in the way,” he paused then he grabs my shirt, pulling me closer to him, his mouth inches from my ears, “I was driving that car. I controlled that child to start walking while the cars are still passing. I ran over her so I can get her Archangel grace. But her brothers,” he chuckled, “her brothers had to intervene.”               
My eyes were wide in shock, then he pushed me off the helicopter. Letting me fall from the sky.

“Mia!” Collin yelled as he saw her falling from the helicopter. Merikh and Azriel saw it, too. Azriel was about to fly to rescue her, but Merikh stopped him, “wait. Stay down, brother. She’s evolving.”They looked up and saw that thunder started to roll in the sky. Lightning was hitting some of the monsters as the three of them started fighting off the rest. The rain started to pour then a bright light from the sky created a flash, they covered their eyes but when they looked up, they saw Mia’s wings were spreading from behind her. It caught her just in time to help her fly back to the chopper. Even her wings knew she’s not yet done with Mr. Roth.
“That’s my girl,” Merikh said softly as he smiled smugly for Mia.
“What?!” Collin and Azriel said in unison, both of them looking at Merikh weirdly.
“Not…nothing. Let’s just kill the monsters, okay?” he said as he spins his staff, hitting a Djinn on its shin and head. Collin and Azriel looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders then punched two monsters at the same time.               
Collin, then, showed his fangs to fight off some Shapeshifter that impersonated William to shake him. Azriel stabs the shifter that looked like William, then a Wraith got in his way. Her retractable spike shoots out from her wrist, ready to fight him. “You’re joking, right?” Azriel asked, then she starts throwing punches, trying to get her spike reach behind his ear. With his silver sword, he passes it through her chest, killing her instantly.
“Collin! Duck!” Merikh yelled just as he beheads a vampire coming for Collin. He stands up and thanked Merikh. “We need back up,” he said.
“You think?!” Azriel said sarcastically. Merikh was catching his breath then whistled. One by one the monsters were getting attacked by some invisible force. They were dragged, shredded, bitten, and some, they were literally dragged to Hell. Collin stood at the edge of the balcony, he was panting as he watched the monsters drop dead, then he looked at Merikh. “Hellhounds. I got some at my disposal,” he quipped as he panted. Azriel tucked his wings, “are they yours?” he asked his brother. Merikh just nodded and drops on the ground as he sat down.

As they watch the hounds kill for them, they hear a flap of wings. They looked back and saw me, dragging someone from behind as I walk towards them. I threw him on the ground like a ragdoll. Mr. Roth slowly tries to stand up, his face beaten up. “Tell them. Tell them what you told them,” I demanded. He chuckled, eyes glowing, he snarled at me, then Merikh hits his head with his staff. He looks at Collin. “are you going to stand there and let them treat me like shit?!”Collin stood still, “actually, I will let them do anything to you. You deserve it.”               
Mr. Roth was enraged. His eyes glowed again, and his fangs were showing. Collin’s eyes glowed too but as he was about to lay a hand on him, an invisible animal gets between them. It growls at Mr. Roth, making him back away slowly. As he walked backward, he bumps into me.
“Oh Mia,” he said softly, he was about to touch me, but I stopped him with my own hand, bending it backward.               
“You tried to kill me for my grace just like when you killed my mom,” I stated, he was kneeling in pain, “you abused me in that basement. You tortured me. you left me to die.”               
My lips were trembling, and tears were welling up in my eyes then it glowed bright gold. “You don’t deserve anything. You don’t deserve forgiveness,” I broke his fingers. Hearing him scream in pain was music to my ears.
I grabbed his shirt and dragged him away from Azriel, Merikh, and Collin I threw him on the ground, he was on all fours. Azriel walked towards me and handed over his sword then he walked back to Merikh and Collin, who he tried to turn around just so he won’t see his father die. “It’s fine, Azriel. I actually do want to see him dead,” I heard him say then I looked down to see Mr. Roth on his knees. He looked up at me, he was glaring when his eyes started to glow. He showed his fangs and snarled at me. I glared back at him and swung the sword through his neck. His headless body made a thud on the ground, and his head rolled to the side.
I turned to face them and walked back to where they were standing. When I reached them, Collin gave me a hug and I started crying.                
I cried for my mom. For my dad. For me.
