Smith stretched his aching hands, and finally, the office work was done properly.

His cell phone rang, prompting Smith to pick it up quickly. His brow furrowed when he saw his father calling him.
"Hello, Dad?"
"Smith, where are you?"
"It's still in the office."
"Your mother is sick, and now she is in the hospital. You can't come here?"
Smith was surprised to hear what Mr. Dion said, he immediately readjusted his sitting position.
"I will be there soon, Dad. Just share the address of the hospital and mother's room, okay?"

Smith immediately turned off one side of his cell phone, he immediately rushed to the hospital where his mother was right now.

Clara waited for Smith's arrival at home, for some reason it was late. Smith had not come home.
Clara tried to call yes, but the line was off making Clara a little worried.

The sound of the door opening made Clara look away and it was Smith, making Clara breathe out with relief.
"Why did you come home at night? It's past the usual hours," said Clara, while taking the bag that Smith had brought.
"I just came from the hospital. My mother is sick in the hospital there Clara," Smith answered, making Clara's eyes widen in surprise at the news.
"Why didn't you tell me?" Clara said she was really surprised to hear those words.
"I was in a hurry, just now, to find a room," Smith replied, taking off his shoes.
"Is your mother sick?" asked Clara, who felt bad that she didn't come there but Smith alone.
"Maybe just a few days in there to be hospitalized," Smith replied, leaning back on the couch staring ahead with a languid look.
"Oh yes, tomorrow you have class or not?" Smith asked, Clara nodded her head quickly.
"Yes I am," he replied.
"I can't take care of my mother at the hospital, and neither can my father. If you have the opportunity, you will take care of my mother at the hospital, okay?" Smith asked, Clara immediately nodded her head in agreement.
"Yeah, maybe tomorrow after I get home from college, I'll stop by the hospital to see your mom," Clara replied, making Smith breathe a sigh of relief and smile a little. "Then for now who is taking care of my mother in the hospital?" asked Clara.
"Father is already there, he said he will be staying at the hospital too. But starting tomorrow he feels very difficult, so he asked for your help to look after my mother at the hospital," Smith answered, explaining to Clara.
Clara nodded. "Yes, I will want to look after your mother," Clara replied.
"I want to take a bath first." Smith got up from his sitting position, he then went to his room to take a shower.
Clara sat silently on the sofa, it seemed she was afraid to look after Mrs. Katy alone at the hospital. Because she was afraid that Mrs. Katy still didn't like her, and that she would make a mistake at the hospital, and of course create a commotion
Clara sighed, she was sure that Mrs. Katy was willing to accept her as her daughter-in-law.

By what she said yesterday, Clara had finished college, she went straight to the hospital to visit Mrs. Katy.
After asking for the address from Smith, she went straight to the hospital with some bread and water, for Mrs. Katy to eat there.

Clara opened the door and saw Mrs. Katy watching television alone. She looked at Clara with a sharp gaze.
"Why are you here?" asked Mrs. Katy curtly, making Clara stop one step, but finally she stepped back.
"Mom, are you alone here? I'm sorry I just came, oh yes, I brought bread and water here," said Clara, ignoring Mrs. Katy's words and placing the two black bags on the table.
Mrs. Katy still glanced at Clara with her curt face. "I don't need what you brought," said Mrs. Katy sharply, making Clara speechless.
"Where were you yesterday when I was here? How come only Smith came?" asked Mrs. Katy loudly, making Clara lower her head. She was sure if Mrs. Katy would bring this up.
"Sorry ma'am, yesterday I didn't know if you were in the hospital. Smith also didn't tell Mom, because he came straight from the office," Clara answered as honestly as she could.
"Huh! What an excuse you are, just say you're too lazy to come here, right?" Accusing Mrs. Katy, Clara quickly shook her head.
"No, ma'am, I don't know. So now I'm coming here to accompany you here," Clara answered, her breathing irregular, she was afraid that Mrs. Katy would accuse her even more.
"You must have had to come here, right? If it wasn't for Smith who told you, maybe you wouldn't be here," said Mrs. Katy again, turning her gaze to the television.
Clara could only remain silent, she lowered her head slowly. She was really scared, with Mrs. Katy now.
The suspicion that Mrs. Katy had accepted Clara as her daughter-in-law turned out to be wrong.
"It's better for you to go home! I don't want you to accompany me here, instead of getting better, I might go crazy here!" Mrs. Katy snapped, making Clara look at her quickly.
"But Mom, you're alone here. Smith is at work, maybe he'll be working late, and Daddy hasn't come home yet, right?" Clara said, looking at Mrs. Katy softly. "I will go home when Smith and my husband are here to accompany me."
"No! You want to wait for him to blend in to get sympathy from them right? You've already seen your wits, Clara!" Mrs. Katy looked at her sharply, even her gaze was still the same, indicating a very deep hatred.
"I want you to go and come home, don't ever visit me here. I don't want you to visit me here," said Mrs. Katy again, even pointing her index finger at the door.
Clara breathed out, she couldn't fight back now. Clara stood up from her seat. "Yes, I'm going home now. If you need anything, call me right away, ok?"
Mrs. Katy did not answer and ignored Clara's words. Clara walked out of the room languidly, she closed the door quietly.
She was afraid to leave Mrs. Katy, but what if Mrs. Katy insisted? She couldn't refuse, she even tried to find excuses anyway if Mrs. Katy didn't want to see her.
"Until when are you going to hate me? Muttered Clara, who was still standing on the doorstep of Mrs. Katy's room, she glanced at the window and saw Mrs. Katy, watching television.
Clara finally decided to go home and do her work at home.
