38th Ghosting: Into You

FLASHBACK, It feels like you're in a movie theater and you're watching on the big screen. It's just that the stars and characters you see aren't actors.
You and your life, itself.
From the beginning, there was no skipping. No commercial.
Ashey can clearly now see how she built it on her own. As it happened, why is there no choice in the world to even choose a father and mother.
Until the day her mother left her in an orphanage and nuns took care of her. Nuns who tirelessly teach them prayers. Ashey prays that she memorizes it every day just to be able to show off in front of her and have a delicious meal later.
The orphanage that became her home and shaped her personality. The orphanage where Ashey felt she was different from the kids there because they shunned her. Kids there don’t want to play with her and call her crazy. Even the day one when the children disappeared from that orphanage because someone liked them and took them home by their adopted parents, she was the only one left. No one even liked her. No one wants to adopt her.
Adi came and was the only one of all the people she met who dared to talk to her and play with her. That's why it's only temporary. It was also a short time in the orphanage. It would be better to just run away from this orphanage. Sje will follow Adi. She would climb outside the yard of that orphanage.
Ah, even her escape from the orphanage will be shown to her by that big screen. Escape and take on the challenges of life alone, until She achieves what she wants— to be a teacher. Have students who stand as her family in a world where only bitterness and hatred she has achieved and dwells in her.
Teachers' day ... where she first felt like she had a family. And those are her students.
Her annoyance with her student Therese because she sees himself here. Weak and let alone oppressed by the people around.
The infrequent she seeks the care of her parents. Whenever she gets sick, she only expects herself.
Until the day came when she was killed ...
She is going to Santillan Farm for a mission ...
Her having a purpose in lending her life to her ...
On the day she experienced someone loving and appreciating her existence through Randall ...
"WHERE will we go?"
"Just. This is a surprise, oh, just take it easy."
Ashey giggled. Randall held her by her left arm as he led him to some part of Santillan Farm. Yes, only on the farm as well. They didn't ride in the car. Randall blindfolded her and led her, then they just walked away.
She could hear nothing else while blindfolded but Randall's occasional laughter and the chirping of nocturnal insects. Since it's almost 7 PM. And since it's almost 7 PM, where will Randall take her?
After Ashey hadn't counted for seconds, Randall finally sat her down somewhere. She was even surprised by the cold she felt caused by the chair because she was only wearing denim shorts.
They laughed.
"Okay, don't open your eyes when I don't tell you so."
Ashey chuckled, "Okay, okay."
Ashey just felt Randall remove the blindfold from her eyes.
"I will count, be ready ..."
"Hey, Santillan, what kind of nonsense is this?"
"Hey, just say okay!" Randall laughed again at his reprimand for being KJ.
"Okay!"
"1 ... 2 .... and 3 ..."
Ashey slowly opened her eyes. At first it was blurry because the vision came from the dark, until it blinked, she got used to it...
Wow ...
If you have been here at Santillan Farm for a long time, you will be amazed at the beauty of the place. The natural beauty of nature has only increased because it is obvious that the farm owner has maintained and really takes care of the entire farm area.
But it's different when Santillan Farm is set up for an occasion.
An occasion that his heart loves ...
"Do you like it?"
"I-I'm speechless."
She is. Really.
Speechless and there is the inexorable warmth of the corners of the eyes.
The surroundings are beautiful. That particular spot was surrounded by lights that were not hard to guess that were deliberately arranged and there was a table and two chairs in the middle of it that was for Randall and them.
Only flowers and wine are on the table. Table covered with slippery white tablecloth. The surroundings seemed to have been designed because of the coffee beans that Ashey had just seen at that time and in such an order that it seemed like it was really meant for the little lights he saw delivered to Randall’s office last, last day. He thought it was Christmas lights. By the way, the bulbs are bigger than the Christmas lights.
Speaking of, yes, Christmas is near.
"Hmn ..."
"Yah-- yah, I'm sorry, Ran. I just ..." Ashey couldn't stop herself from wiping away the tears.
They laughed softly again.
"We both didn't expect it. We fell in love at a time when we were both learning how to live. Me, looking for my own purpose and worth ---"
"For women? Hah! I guess you're the only one like that, Santillan," Ashey joked to her boyfriend.
"Well, I'm the only one who's handsome here. I'm the owner."
They giggled while looking intently to each other.
"Ashey, I'm serious here. Don't laugh at me cause you don't know how much I'm nervous right now."
"Really? Santillan?"
Randall chuckled, "Really really," he jokingly replied to Ashey.
"Oh no!"
"Hey, get serious. Ehem, ehem ..."
Ashey seemed to be tickled even more when Randall cleared his throat before he resumed his speech ...
"You came into my life when I’m full of doubts and searching for a purpose to live and love. The love that I didn’t know the existence if it’s not with you. I do wanna marry you ..."
Throughout Ashey's life, she never imagined that the day would come when a man would propose to her. So maybe she couldn't explain the overwhelming feeling that was flowing through her system at those moments. Especially when Randall took out the ring in his pocket and knelt in front of her ...
"And I want to know If, do you?"
"Oh, Randall!" With tears in her eyes, she turned to Randall in response.
She can't ignored the ring. That if she could only see how Randall is already crying and trying to laugh at the moment ...
"I love you, Ashey Emerald Brown. Again ---"
"Yes! I do! I really do!"
That's all Randall is waiting for. Ashey even wore the ring herself.
Laughing he picked up Ashey and he danced in the air… again… in the middle of Santillan Farm.
In the middle of that particular spot.
Same spot where he carried Ashey in the same way then …
