37th Ghosting: Forgiveness

"A—ASHEY..."
"This hug is all I can give, 'M-Ma. Thank you and forgive me."
"Oh, my Ashey, more sorry, daughter. Sorry."
Tears welled up in her mother's eyes. As the disappearance that started in Ashey's right hand gradually ascended to her right arm, she realized that before it completely disappeared and the disappearance moved to her left arm, Ashey chose to suddenly hug her mother. While she could still. While she is still here, alive.
Forgiveness is hard to give. So Ashey knew in herself that the moment she just came back as long as her mother in her life she had forgiven her. She just kept quiet. She is still the daughter, so she is the one who deserves to apologize. She became arrogant.
She should still be grateful. If it weren't for her mother she wouldn't be in the world. Azraelle was right, if it wasn't for her mother she wouldn't have been born into the world and if it wasn't for her, by leaving her, she wouldn't have grown up right. She will not be stable. She will not be strong and he will not be a teacher able to revive herself.
Deep inside her, she knew that her mother's abandonment had helped her face life that way. It helped a lot in his personality, in herself, in her character development.
If she had not been a teacher, if she had not been the daughter of a heartless man, Randall would not have existed. Clearly, every event has a bright side. But of course, there is still the fact that everything is just a gift from God. That is the truth they have to face.
"Ate LM sent it, for you." Xian handed Ashey a bunch of Sunflower flowers.
Laughing, Ashey wiped away the tears and accepted it from Xian.
Sunflower: Positivity and strength.
Ashey just felt Xian's offer to hug. When they hugged the young man, Azraelle joined in, "Group hug."
"Hey, you really ..." Ashey joked to the two.
Ashey glanced and smiled at her mother who just kept staring at her even though she had let go of the hug that she also gave. When her mother nodded in response she turned her back on her.
Ashey let out a heavy breathe.
So, this is it ...
"ARE you tired?"
Randall smiled at Xian's question.
Ah, the question is not for him. It was for the one with him to cultivate the land in that part of Santillan Farm-- Adolfo and Arnulfo.
Yes, they help him dig.
"Go here, so you could know the answer to your question," Adolfo's tone was serious.
Xian makes a funny face at the back of the grumpy not so old man.
When Randall looked at Ashey, he immediately left what he was doing for a moment and greeted her with a tight hug.
"Don't cry," Randall was alert to his girlfriend's impending tears.
"Again, how?"
Randall chuckled. He sniffed Ashey's neck sharply.
"Ew, your smell of shit," Ashey supposedly pushed at the boyfriend.
When they stared at each other, they were both with tears forming in their eyes ...
They also laughed at the same time. Ashey was about to hit Randall on the chest when they both remembered that that part of his body had disappeared.
"I apologize again."
Ashey and Randall looked at Adolfo's sudden speech at the same time.
"I know it's too late. But I hope you can still find in your heart forgiveness for me." None of them-- to Ashey, Adolfo's attention as he spoke, he felt that it was sincere.

"Even if you don't believe me, I will still say that ... I have forgiven you for a long time." Ashey felt Randall's grip tighten on her left palm, "It's been a while since I've known what Therese has been through. It's been since ... I've known and loved Randall."
With tears in his eyes, Ashey watched Adolfo Nuevo's shoulders shake while he was still bent over and could not meet his eyes.
"Thank you, Te-Teacher Ashey." There, he looked up.
Ashey gave the old man a wide smile. She couldn't even say she was good, and at least, they all knew that she was there at the time-- she, Randall, Azraelle, Xian and Adolfo Nuevo, that she wasn't a bad person.
As they say, forgiveness is liberation. That by the time you are released of it, you will be shocked to realize that you have been imprisoned in a prison that you did yourself. Prison of bitterness and hatred.
They also say that repentance is late. Now that they're all watching that there's the pit where Ashey's body will be-- Yes. Her body had given up-- all Ashey wanted was to do the right thing and spend the rest of her days on earth with Randall.
Azraelle said that her case is still unique to all souls who return to the world of the lives it holds. First, because those who returned, became greedy. They do not want to accept the death that they know awaits them in the end.
Second, others prefer to waste the remaining moments achieving things that were not previously done. Ashey is clear that from the very beginning of returning to the world of the living, she has no desire if her body cannot be found and her killer can settle the issue with them. Clearly willing to forgive even when given the opportunity to retaliate.
Ah, Azraelle didn't really know either. Only now has it happened that a soul given a second chance to live a second time is slowly disappearing. Maybe it's because it just so happened that he became human.
Maybe because there is really no answer. They also just ask a question. It's just like why Randall and her...
THE sadness Randall sees in Azraelle's eyes is shocking.
Doctors and nurses had been in the ICU for more than half an hour to pay attention to the sudden noise of the machines surrounding Ashey's body. More than half an hour and then Azraelle approached Randall. It stood in front of him and when he looked up, Randall reflected sadness in the angel's eyes.
Angel. He knew the angel had the power to hear the event inside the ICU even if the door was closed.
Event that Randall no longer seems to want to face if basing the registered grief on the angel.
Gradually, sadness settled in his heart along with nervousness.
It must have been when he received the bad news of the death of his parents when he last felt it.
Twitter that literally loses hope ...
His chest throbbed in an instant. He kept begging at the back of his mind. After he looked intently at Azraelle, the nurses and doctors came out of the ICU door ...
"I'm sorry, Mr. Santillan ..."
That's all. Those were the only words that came out of the doctor's mouth to greet Randall but it seemed that he was stabbed in his stand. The nervousness that had previously deafened him had been replaced by a roar. He clenched both fists tightly. That if he was in the anime show he knew he was blowing fire at those times in frustration and sadness.
Frustration because he didn’t get what he wanted.
Sadness because they will be sadder with the news they bring.
They thought there was still hope. When they found out that his body was still in the hospital, they finally gave up. Then it got tired. Then he rested.
What awaits Ashey Emerald Brown?
Why?
Where else is he missing?
Did he-- they-- lack prayer?
Why doesn't everyone agree with what he wants? They are Azraelle?
Why didn't God hear Azraelle's prayer? …
