The next morning, Haven gets his guts together and calls someone.
After 4 hours of hard work, he received an anonymous call.
"Hello"
"Haven!!" a loud cry and yelled from a woman was heard.
"A-Aviana?! Is that you?! Aviana!!" he shouted.
"Haven!! Help— me!!" she yelled with a weak and cracked voice.
The call ended with her scream and Haven frustrated.
Haven gathered his squad and found the phone call location.

"Sir, I got the location" one of his secretary reported.
"Prepare the sniper…I'll order everything in a phone call" Haven takes his jacket and gets his car key.
"Yes sir" the phone call ended.
Haven heads to the headquarters and wears every protection that is necessary. His bulletproof vest, emergency blade, sniper at the back, a silent handgun and other tools.
"Sir, squad 1 is ready" his secretary connected with him through an earpiece.
"Send them and report the entire place" Haven rode his bike.

"Sir, there's only 2 people in the garage…and it was a female and male" he reported.
"How about outside the place and around you?" Haven asked.
"There's—" his secretary stopped.
"Hello?"
"Sir…there's 100 people waiting with sniper"
"Good, bomb that place without that 2 person in the building, make sure that 100 people died. You get my permission" Haven stopped his bike.
"We'll do sir" he smirked and take out a bazooka "go to hell motherf*ckers" he said and shot it.
Meanwhile others take out their weapon "it's gonna be fun" one of them said.
"Since when it's not~" all of them get their weapons, ready to fight since the last 2 weeks ago. All those 50 people were craving for it.
Haven gets into the building and calls out Aviana's name.
"Aviana!!" he yelled but only the echoing of his voice was heard.
Then, Haven got to the 2nd floor where there's no wall because it's still a structure of a building that has been left for some reason.
He walked and saw Aviana was badly injured sitting at the chair, been tied by a chain and painfully saw a lot of bruises on her body.
His nerves of sense were almost disconnected but when he was about to let go of the chain, Aviana kept shaking her head.
"You'll get hurt if you move too much" he said while breaking the chain and once he let go a tape at Aviana's mouth. Aviana immediately pushes him and a heavy rock almost falls on them.
She fell on his body and couldn't move her body properly.
"Aviana, are you okay?!" he held her shoulder and hugged her.
Tears flowing down from her eyes that swollen because of getting hit.
"H-Haven…" her lips were slightly trembling and her voice cracked.
"I'm sorry Aviana, very sorry, I deserved to get hit by you…you can hit me, I shouldn't leave you with our child" he said and Aviana looked at him in shock.
"I know now Aviana, I'm just a dumbass who can't even win while fighting my own ego, a loser" he said while hugging her. Hearing her crying hurt his feelings too.
"Woah, what a reunion family we got here~" a guy that came out from nowhere, his voice was familiar to Haven's ears and it sent Aviana to a shiver.
"You bastard!!" Haven shouted.
"Am I? Isn't that you the one who left her alone? Let her go? Hate and hope she dies? And yet you called me a bastard?…We got no difference then, Haven Victor" Vinod stands with a gun in his hands.
"You dared to mess up with me…you'll get the sequences" Haven stands and takes out his handgun.
"Then, let's see who'll win, cause I brought crew" Vinod stands with 10 guys behind him.
"You are very well-prepared," Haven smirked.
"Since you already killed my 100 men, I should put a back up right?" Vinod represents 10 of his assassins.
"I should know this is gonna happen…" Haven takes out his 2nd gun and is ready to sacrifice his life this time.
"Aviana, run first…"Haven said and 10 of them were surrounding them first.
"No way out cause I'm planning to bury 3 of you as a family~" he said.
"Well, not today Vinod…you killed my parents and now try to kill my child?!" Aviana brings out her bravery.
"That time, I didn't know that you're still alive…what a lucky girl you are, but I think you already ran out of luck" he smirked and pointed the gun at Aviana.
Immediately Aviana takes a sniper behind Haven's back, shoots a gun at Vinod's hand and he bleeds profusely.
"Argh, kill them!!" the assassins take out their gun and Haven pushes Aviana out of the circle, same with himself. Both of them shoot everyone from behind while sliding and Aviana almost falls from the building because there's no walls.
"Are you okay?!" Haven was about to walk towards her when his legs were shot by Vinod.
Haven whined in pain and had difficulty while standing up. He turned around just to see Vinod already pointed his gun towards him and was ready to shoot.
However, Aviana already shoots Vinod many times and makes him fall down, lifelessly.
Both of them now can breathe properly but that's not how it should end as another sniper tries to shoot Haven from behind and Aviana sees him first.
Without thinking, she changes her position and hugs him "I miss you" her last words before getting shot and Haven can feel the pressure of the shooting.
His eyes widened as he saw a sniper try to escape. Haven told his secretary to catch and kill him.
Aviana falls from Haven's hug. She lost her strength.
"Aviana!! Wake up!!" he yelled but she reached his face and smiled.
"I miss you…always…miss you" she closed her eyes.
"No no no!!! Don't miss me yet!! Aviana!!" Haven carried her in a bridal style and immediately brought her to the hospital.
While the doctors brought her to the surgery room, Haven waited in front of the door with her blood that filled his clothes.

A few hours after that, everyone came, his parents, Liam and Melinda were coming.
"Haven!" his mom called and he hugged her, crying.
"I failed to protect her," he said in a weak voice.
"No darling, you're not, she'll be safe, she'll be fine and see you again" his mom patted and rubbed his back.
How much is his love until he can cry in front of others?
"Haven, she's strong, you need to believe in her" Melinda gives him motivation.
"You're right, she can be alone for 2 weeks. All of us know that a bullet can't hurt her" Liam added.
"But, can both of them survive?" he sat with regret.
"If we talk about chance, I don't think the baby can…" Melinda said.
"It's all my fault…I let my ego burn my love towards her" he said.
"Haven, you are already this adult and every situation has its own reason. You can't only blame yourself, no one can…pull yourself together, if she can wait for you while death is chasing her from the back. You also can while she's fighting with it" his dad said.

The doctor came out of the room.
"Can I know who the family members are?" he asked.
"Me! I'm her boyfriend!" Haven looked at the doctor.
"Okay, Mr. Haven. I need you to calm down first as we got bad and good news" he said and Haven gulped.
"Go on…"
"We can save the mother, she's out of the danger zone now and let's say that she's actually woken up a few minutes after we put her in the recovery room…"
"So what's the bad news?" Haven's eyes widened.
"So, the bad news…I'm sorry but we can't save the baby…he's too weak and the mother also lost too much blood" he said.
Haven fell on his knees and speechless.
"I hope you'll talk well with your girlfriend, Mr. Haven" the doctor patted his shoulder and walked away.
Haven immediately burst into her room and saw Aviana zoning out at the window with a light white curtain.
"It's a breezy evening isn't it?" she asked and looked at Haven smiling.
Haven gasped and ran towards her, carefully hugging her.
"I'm sorry…Aviana, I'm sorry…" he said with tears flowing down.
"For what? Isn't that what you hope for?" she smiled while hugging him back.
"What…?" Haven looked at Aviana, widened. Stunned of what she just said.
"I heard what you said that night, you don't care if I died, I'm just a whore in your eyes, now I have no one, my child is already gone…Are you satisfied now?" she asked and her smile now disappeared.
A cold face that Haven never see from her, part of her that's not violence but why it hurts him?
"Aviana I'm never satisfied at all…" Haven holding her hand.
"Then, did I need to die so you can be satisfied?" she's avoiding his touch.
"You hate me that much?" he asked, a gentle voice that Aviana used to hear and trust but now she needed to pull herself together, not to fall on his sweetness, no more.
"No I didn't, no one said that I hate you…I'm just telling the truth, is that wrong?" she asked in calm.
"You're…I—" before Haven said anything, she cut him.
"Haven, let's end this, now the child is already gone and you also hate me. Now we have no connection…let's not meet each other, I'll send my retirement letter after I recover" she looked away.
"But I—"
"Just leave Haven, I don't want to see you again!" she yelled and made him stunned.
Haven sighed and walked out of the room.
The chain literally broke and there's no love or hope, not anymore. When she learns to understand, he can't turn back. Just because of miscommunication they have, not just love they lost, also a life…
Haven walked out from the room and others saw him, disappointed and hopeless.
"She'll accept you…just give her more time" Liam said and Haven just walked away.
He felt the pain and he deserves it. It's karma and he know the fate was laughing, look at how dumb he is.
