Chapter 25 Now A Demon

AT THE AIRPORT, LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM
"I'm telling you for the umpteenth time, tell us all you know about Festus' pack!!" Alfred yells at taxi driver (Mike)
"Mike, don't act tough." Alexander says, rather cool. "Just tell us whatever you know."
Mike clears his throat, "Festus forsook his pack, I was one of his warriors. I shifted into my wolf form after he sold the pack to an elf. Then, I heard lately that the pack needs an Alpha and that Festus has traveled overseas, claiming to have been deprived of his mate."
"This was all we have been asking you to say..." Austin hits him in his back, and mopes around the wilderness.
"Phew!" Douglas whistles.
"Whatcha think?" Richard says, humming.
"Don't release him." Alfred suggests. "We need him to travel down to America and attack the pack house."
"It's not a small building." Douglas objects.
"I know." Alfred replies. "We just need cooperation from wizards."
"We don't fucking know any wizard!" Austin yells. "So, come off that!"
"Stop cussing." Douglas says. "And don't attract the packs in this wilderness."
"I know a wizard." Mike speaks up.
"Oh, really?" Alexander exclaims.
"Yes, really." Mike replies. "Only if you promise not to tell the wizard I told you about him."
"Promise."
The six of them squat Excluding Richard who's busy whistling and protecting them from unannounced attacks.
"George." Mike says. "The mate of Kellie Leo."
"Oh my goodness." Alfred sighs. "He would never respond, I've been totally bad to him."
"We will try out luck." Austin jeers. "And if it doesn't go through easily, we would attack him with violence."
"Sure." Richard whistles. "May we take our leave now?"
They all spring up from the grass they squat on, as they head outside the wilderness to get inside Mike's car. They move to his car, and pushes Mike in while two of them surrounds him in the car, making sure he doesn't sit at the edge of the car. Austin gets into the front seat, and rests his head on the steering while Alfred gets to sit beside him as Richard and Alexander sits behind Austin and Alfred but in front of Douglas and the ever silent Beta.
"Where are we heading to, exactly?" Alexander asks as Austin shifts the gear and the car starts.
"You'll pay for whatever pain you make me pass through." Mike says but all of the six Betas give his words complete negligence.
"To the pack house. Association of Wolves." Austin says, and shifts the gear again, bringing the moving car to a halt. "Where do I start?"
"I was wondering how you would drive from here to United Kingdom through a car." Douglas chuckles.
"Wondering too." Alexander snickers. "Our wolves would move faster."
Hearing that, Alfred clicks his tongue.
"Yeah, wolves would be faster. Let's get down and shift under the full moon arising in the wilderness."
"The wilderness of London." Mike comments as they all get down from the car.
"Do you think this is a wise decison?" Austin says, squinting his eyes as a result of the bright light rays from the sun.
"It is. Why not?" Mike replies.
"I'm not asking you." Austin retorts. "How would we tag you along with us? Why are you all not listening to me?"
"I am. We are." Alexander replies. "Let's head to the Wilderness to discuss this. Then, they cross to the other side of the road, preferring to use another wilderness to the previous one they used, to prevent suspicion and inevitable attacks and injuries.
"What about my car?" Mike asks, hesitating to cross again and join them to go to the wilderness.
"Nothing bad will happen to it. I promise." Alfred pats him in his back and Mike seems surprised since Alfred has never talked nicely with or to him.
"Even if anything bad happens, we'd refund you." Austin adds.
"Okay." Mike says, and shrugs his shoulders.
Then, they cross the road with repeated thuds as they barge into the field then into the wilderness.
"Here is Mister Charles' wilderness." A voice speaks, as they enter into a cave, ensuring Mike crawls with three of them in front, and three at his back and so they do. They crawl out of the cave, not facing their way immediately but waiting for one another to all come out and they start to move.
They pause moving at once since a big wolf howls at them, calling the attention of other wolves. Eleven other wolves join the big wolf, making the six Betas and Mike shudder.
"Just pass by them. Don't say a word." Alfred mutters, and they creep beside the wolves and as soon as they are out of earshot and in the free main wilderness, they release their breaths and executes their plan.
With repeated sound of squelching and whining, Mike's clothes split up and disappear, leaving him bare. And suddenly, hair films over his body and soon fills it including his face. Then, Mike pauses then creepily, he moves an inch forward and yells. Then, he swirls his tail in air, and beckons to others to shift as well.
"This is strange." Alexander comments.
"He's not from our pack, you shouldn't be surprised." Austin replies. "Please, let's be vigilant in our Wolves' form. We are heading to America, whoever feels weak should alert others."
"Let three of us, me, Douglas and Austin stay at the front while Henry, this stupid silent wolf, Alfred and Richard stay at the back so Mike won't escape."
"Maintain the pace." Douglas adds, and they all join their hands together as they give their wolves control of their body.
AT ASSOCIATION OF WOLVES PACK, AMERICA.
"George, wait!" Kellie yelps, excitedly. " Just a moment. Please, why are you heading so quick to the rest room?"
"Please, Kellie." George retorts. "Get behind me. I'll get back to you. I even had to defy Martin's orders."
"I'll apologize. I need some time to myself." He says, and Kellie sighs as she turns her back to him and head straight back to the parlour where his mum and dad are seated while Martin has resumed his work.
He's actually not the one moving very fast; It's Kelvin moving him around. And since Kellie couldn't see Kelvin, she assumed he moves too fast.
Quick, they get to the restroom and Kelvin disappears through the door into the room. George knocks on the door since it's locked. Kelvin opens the door for him and the wolf inside the rest room shrieks and runs out with his wolf taking control as he zooms into the field, turning his fearful yells into excited ones.
"Now, I have to go." Kelvin tells George as he shuts the door and leans on it. "I'm being ordered."
"Please, help me. You don't have to leave now." George pleads. "Please."
"The only option now is to give you the demon power." Kelvin suggests. "Do you want that?"
"Yes." George deadpans. "But, how do I control it? I don't know how to."
"And again, I don't know the side effects." He adds.
"Do you want the power or not?" Kelvin says with a harsh tone.
"I do." George clips, and Kelvin transforms into Cole.
"Cole, give the power to me." George chuckles.
"You have it already!" Cole shrugs. "I have to go."
"Oh, alrighty! So fast? Thank you!" George exclaims, and appreciates.
"Are you going to the Wasteland?" George asks again.
"No, but you can always come there to see if I'm available. It depends on my schedule." Cole says.
"With the demon power now in me, don't you think I have to Kill and kill and kill to sustain it?"
"We are kings. We are superior. You don't have to. Tell any being the power you have, and they'll flee from you." Cole explains, and transforms into Kelvin. Kelvin winks at Gothe and wanes into the air.
George can now save or act with his demon power, so he'd be able to claim the honor of the previous victory against the attack of the vampires.
"George, would you even consider your mate?" Kellie hits the doorknob as much as she can. "Open the damn door."
George still doesn't want to talk to anyone so poof, he wanes in thin air and settles in Kellie's room. Kellie jerks the door open and shudders, seeing no one.
"The fuck." She cusses, and retreats to her room.
She meets Charles and Kimberly chatting in the sitting room still, and she gasps as she enters.
"Mum, dad..." She calls, and waits for their response before pouring out her heart.
"What is it, dear?" Kimberly asks. "Did you see a rogue?"
"No." Kellie deadpans, and her fear subsides. "Did you see George in here?"
"No..." Charles shrugs. "He didn't come here."
"Dammit!" Kellie cusses, and climbs up the staircases as she goes straight into her room. "George, I'll deal with you, I'm telling you!"
Then, she intends to put on boots so as to chase George as soon as she sees him. She turns her doorknob and a sharp sensation tingles her neck but she doesn't give a damn. She marches inside and stops immediately, shrieking and standing transfixed to a point when she sees George lying down conveniently on her bed.
Kimberly soon comes running towards the room, with Charles.
"Baby, what's wrong?" Kimberly enters the room and sees George smiling. "When did you get in, George?"
