"Where is the new student? He's late." I was holding a paper and had written Welcome. I was told to do it and I'm starting to get irritated; he was reaaalllyy late.
Last night I receive a letter that I should welcome the new student, I don't know who is it because brother Kaden didn't write the student's name. But brother must know that person. And I do want to leave now for he is wasting my time.
"Lady Alora." I turn around and I saw the Crown Prince.
"Greetings to His Highness."
"What are you doing here?" I pointed the paper I'm holding and he nods. "A new student?"
"Yes, They want me to show him around."
"Oh, I didn't know that we have a new student."
"I just knew it last night."
"I'm a member of the student council I can show him around, so you can now go to your class."
Why is he being nice all of a sudden?
"Thank you, but it's fine Your Highness. They will get mad at me if they knew I didn't meet him."
"Then I'll just accompany you." I just nod, we're both silent, standing in front of the gate and my face brightens when I saw a carriage coming.
"He's already here." we both watch the approaching carriage.
"You can now head back, Your Highness." I was watching the carriage stop but after a minute he was still inside. "He really pisses me, first he was late and now he does not want to get down? Do I look a joke to him?"
"Lady Alora, please do calm down." Oh, the Crown Prince is still here. leave now I do not want to see you. Then carefully watch the coachman when he does open the door.
"Hearing your voice gives me goosebumps." My face crumpled when I heard his voice. Angry I tore the paper that I was holding and threw it in the air at the same time I shout.
"My Lady!" I really do lose my manners and class whenever I see him.
"You!? How come?" I point to him and he smirks.
His black hair is neatly parted to the right falling over his eyes, while the left side is slicked back. He is wearing a black military uniform. Is he for real? Why is he here?
"Ahem," he smirk and I composed myself. "Greetings to the Crown Prince, My Lady." I then offered my hand and my face crumpled when he kissed the back of my hand. Eww.
"Oh well, if it isn't Sir Damien. It's been years since the last time I saw you."
Damien Lastrair Alaric this jerk, another shitty person that I need to handle.
"Yes, it's been years Your Highness."
"You know each other?" I shake my head but Damien nods.
"Yes/No!"
"Eh?" The Crown Prince does look confused but I ignore him, I look at Damien and forced myself to smile. I do want to hit him.
"Let's go, Sir." I motioned my hand and show the way. "Shall we?"
"You did some mess." He said and we both look at the papers on the ground but I do change the topic. Hoho.
"Is this all, Sir Damien's luggage?"
"Yes, My Lady."
"This is your room, Damien. Please do bring his thing there." I glance at Damien who is busy talking with the prince. I clenched my fist and wanted to punch his face. "And when you arrive at the manor tell this to Brother Kaden that I hate him."
"Yes, My Lady." We followed them as they bring Damien's thing into his room.
"You walk so slow! I'm hungry." He look at me and I rolled my eyes.
"Coming, you idiot."
"What?"
"That was nothing," The Crown Prince finally leave, I sighed at sat we ordered food and ate together. "You, tell me why did you suddenly go here? why did you leave Levan? Did my father request it or it was Kaden?"
"Woah, easy." He ignores my questions and continues eating.
"Answer my questions." I stab the steak he was eating using my fork and he does look at me with those amber eyes. I avoided his gaze and continue eating.
"Your right I think I was in Levan for five years? But my father ordered me to study here. And Kaden told me that you're also studying here. This food is delicious." I stared at the fork in front of me.
"I'm good."
"Just try it." I rolled my eyes and do eat it.
"Do what you want."
"Of course."
"Tss, and do not bother me. I will go now I still have classes."
"Wait." He held my arm and he stand up.
"What?"
"Where's your ring?" he looks at my finger.
"In my room."
"You're not wearing it?" he showed me his hand and I didn't know he was wearing it.
"No, our engagement is still not officially."
"Gave it to me later."
"Okay, later."
