Thank you, Alvin?"" She laughed and passed the gift away.
Lia's behavior got me a little concerned, did anything happen without my knowledge?.
Chad takes away the tension, the moment he humped on her ( Lisa) she smiled and they both had a loving moment together.
(Inaudible conversation as it drifts to the evening).
The whole mansion donned in illuminating lights, Lisa's aunt walked out and saw me .
"Good evening Alvin!! I've been hoping to talk with you?".
( She takes my eyes away)
"Good evening aunt!! What might be the problem?". I inquired and she goes, airing a familiar name, and that was Lisa.
"What happened to her?" I added.
Itching to hear her response, unfortunately her attention whiskered away the second Lisa called, in a head count I turned as well and she walked passed ignoring my presence.
They both walked further away then Bryan decides to add fuel to the fire.
"Aww!! Is that tears I see?" ( Sarcasm)
Although I had a befitting reply to his Statement, there was more important thing to do, turning to the exit.
My feet ambled further, but halted noting a hand on my wrist.
"Why are you running Alvin? Are you surprised about Lisa's behavior?"( He continued talking).
Bryan's words to me felt like he knew something I don't, or perhaps Is he trying to give me a hint?.
I pulled his hands away finally put an end to his mockery.
"Wow!! Bryan please tell me something?, Why are you so happy all of sudden, did anything happen?".
(Paused to hear his response)
"You'll see?".
Without looking back, he walked outside.
Something isn't just right here? Why do I feel like Lisa is about doing something wrong or rather foolish?.
( Weird atmosphere) I'll have to talk with her and put an end to whatever is going on!!.
8:00pm.
The party started, guests flew in and out of the mansion, I tried  seizing a moment with her, yet for some strange reasons she kept ignoring me, what the hell is going on?".
Bryan takes up my curiosity in to the next level, the juncture he smiles at me.
I turned and watched from a far distance, trying to place the puzzle pieces together..
And amidst the friction already in the atmosphere, there was a black out.
I looked and the instant my feet sauntered further, the light rolled back on, meeting Bryan on one knees clasping an engagement ring.
"Miss Lisa heart? Will You marry me?".
( He lets out)
Lisa takes  rung reversed slipping into an astounded look and she wasn't the only one, deep down I beg her not to approve his proposal, but as usual Lisa panned out doing the contrary to what I wished.
" urgh!! What and why is she doing this?".
After the party, Bryan rode out with few of the guest, lending me the opportunity to sneak Lisa out of the house.
"Alvin!!! What the hell?".
( she nudged me away)
I took a peek back and forth before continuing to speak..
" what the hell is wrong you?, I should be asking you this!!! Why the hell did you accept to marry Bryan after all he did?". ( waits for her response)
Lisa takes her time to concede, she folds her hands and said, "what's it to you Alvin? Weren't you the person who told me to see other people?".
" Is this a form of revenge or are you hiding something from me?".
( I added).
She grinned at my allegation chancing to leave, but quit the second I held her back by impetus, with her back against the wall.
I said, "tell me the truth miss danger!! Why are you marrying Bryan?, and do not forget that I know when you're fibbing.
( eyes lock as the chapter ends)
"Aww!! Are you getting jealous?".
( she hoax her words to me)
Unfortunately, the tension between us kept growing up, and Bryan walked in beholding us in a compromising position..
Although he didn't alter a single word, I felt a change in tht atmosphere, Lisa's eyes wandered off and saw Bryan behind.
Immediately, she nudged me away and stormed in to her room.
I aimed to go after her, rather a familiar face blocked my path.
"Bryan!! Get out of path?".
He ignored my warning and stood at tht same placed, locking his fist, it seemed like seeing Lisa this close to me wasn't pleasing to see and to confirm he says, "Alvin!! I don't like seeing you so close to my Lisa!".
",Aww!! Did you just say, your Lisa?".
In a scacartic tone I asked and he flames up seeing the smirked on my lips.
Bryan says, "don't think of acting smart with me, you've no idea what I'm capable of doing against you".
And right there, was the real Bryan, who gets all faked up for Lisa, that already knew who he really is, if only he knew.
( Weak smile)
Abruptly there was no need fighting my words against him and now, I've got not alone to save Lisa from Bryan but also stop the insane attitude miss danger is putting up.
Perhaps, I might use this to my advantage, if getting married to Lisa would back Bryan down, I'll gladly do it, and years watching Indian movies, the protagonist in my story needs my help, and support, I'll have to kidnap Bryan from ever getting close to the alter and with a slated time get married again to my miss danger, this time she would literally become Mrs Lisa Alvin Fisher!! Sounds good right?.
( Smiles, returning back home).

Bryan and Alvin both want the same thing, which is Lisa, but the question is, why's Lisa marrying Bryan?, Is there something she's hiding and would Alvin be able to save his miss danger from making a grave mistake?.

(AT THE WEDDING ALTER)
Now reading as Lisa POV
It's been two months since I accepted Bryan's proposal, thus know I'm not getting married to him because I want to, I'm only doing this for the sake of my family and Alvin's life.
"Confused? I'll elaborate further".
Do you still remember the day, I went to Alvin's home and found him laying next to a naked lady?, If that's a yes, you can still recall we both had a little misunderstanding and afterwards Bryan called me home because Chad again made an attempt on his life?.
Abruptly Bryan did tell on he was going to keep his son to his late's mom, but to my surprise, everything was only a ploy to attack the one thing I have after my sister's demise.
Which is Alvin Fisher, Bryan lied he wanted to send his son, but in a real sense it was a game to temper with Alvin's life.
And if by chance anything did happen, he will have an alibi to back up any accusations on him, decerning he was at his lasts wife mom's house.
I got to find out about his plan, on my way downstairs, he hid behind the stairs and spoke to a certain person on the phone.
And while I remade my foot steps away a vase dropped to the floor which instantly brought his notoriety to me.
As usual, he tried to lie his way through but when I proved adamant, Bryan had no option but to expose his true colors to me and I had no other option but to tell on my awareness to the truth I've been hiding for so long.
Now, I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, it's either I get married to Bryan or kiss Alvin good bye from this world and I cannot possibly seat and watch Alvin gets killed, no matter what, I'll have to save him, the same way he would save me.
After all, his my Mr arrogant and I'm his miss danger, and no!! I'm not in love with him, I think ( confused face).
