Christine and Vanessa both walked towards the sitting room when they left David's room. "There is something I want to tell you," Christine said.
"Now?" Vanessa asked, looking so busy.
"Yes," Christine replied.
Christine gasp. "Wait, is he a wizard?" Vanessa asked.
"Nope, a sorcerer," Christine replied.
"Wow," Vanessa sounded surprised.
"His father was a sorcerer," Christine said.
Vanessa sniffed. "You never talked much about your husband. What happened to him?" She asked.
Christine stopped to walk, she rested her back at the wall closed to her. "He died protecting you," Christine replied, looking sad.
"You mean me?" Vanessa asked, looking confused.
"Yes. When you were five years old, the Blood Coven found out you will be a big threat to them in the future. So, they decided to act quickly. On that day they decided to attacked, i and my husband visited your parents. we were out numbered and totally not ready. Vanessa, he died for you to live. So, when your dad told me your abilities had started showing up, I used you to cast my revenge on them by giving you the mission to kill there leader," Christine replied.
Vanessa looked confused. "Vanessa, am the enemy within," Christine said.
"What do you mean?" Vanessa stuttered.
Christine sniffed. My sister Margaret is behind everything that is happening and had been working with her," Christine replied.
"Am confused," Vanessa looked lost.
"Do you remember the story of the triplet I told you few days ago? Both the power of the seven and triplet has been handled by my generation. My blood line has been the keeper of both powers. And the power of the triplet is in the possession of my sister. She needs you to get it open," Christine said.
Vanessa groaned. "And she is also the leader of the Water Dominant," Christine sniffed.
Vanessa sat down on the floor, speechless. Have always wish to be the host of the Seven Witches. When I and my sister discovered the Seven Witches chose you to be their host, we decided to kill you so that I can have and use it to unlock the power in her possession. Your dad been a hostage to them was part of the plan. She knew you will have no choice than to fight her with the power in you. And trust me, you will lose, and that is what she wants," Christine said.
"So, what changed your mind?" Vanessa asked.
Christine chuckled. "My son," She said.
"So, what are your plans?" Vanessa asked.
"But been impulsive will get you killed. I heard the Moon Coven and the Water Dominant are both having some deep issues. And the little information I gathered, I think the Moon Coven had find another way to unlock the triplet power without you," Christine replied.
"The Moon Coven," Vanessa sniffed.
"Yes. And if they get there hands on that power, trust me, we are all doom. It is scale too better if the power of the triplet is being controlled by the Water Dominant rather than them," Christine said.
My dad told me some few stories about them. I thought you said Adesewe defeated them years ago?" Vanessa asked, looking confused.
Christine chuckled. "They always come back. My sister sent that message to get you angry, she want you to act and fight her stupidly. The message she sent will cause a serious war in the magical kingdom. Every Coven want your mum, every magical one want to sit at the right hand of the devil. Every Coven want her," Christine replied.
"So what should we do?" Vanessa asked, stuttered.
"My sister is not interested in sitting in the right hand of the devil, all she want is you. But, she is promised her seven elders your mum, only if they can help her get you. So, my plan right now is to wait," Christine replied.
Vanessa chuckled."Are you for real?" She asked, looking surprised.
"Yes, wait. My sister we be expecting you right now. But, we will surprise her tomorrow after she finish fighting. By then, she will be very weak to fight you. Vanessa, my sister don't respect the power in you, she doesn't,"Christine said.
AT THE WATER DOMINANT GATHERING.
Judith hissed. Something is wrong," She said, looking bored.
"Yeah, it is like your plans are not Working Margaret," Lare said.
Margaret sniffed. This is almost 4am. It is scale too obvious that your dear sister is not on our side any more," One of the elders said.
"She is still on our side. If she did not allow Vanessa to strike before 4am, it means she is moving to plan B," Margaret said.
"Wow, plan B," Jennifer sounded surprised.
"I think she want to look so clean in front of Vanessa," Margaret smiled.
Judith chuckled. "What if she has other plans you are not aware of?" She asked.
"Do I need to remind you that the young girl was chosen by the seven Witches, and each of them in her has the power of a thousand Witches. So in total, she has the strength and power of seven thousand Witches," Lare exclaimed.
"So? Margaret asked.
Lare chuckled. "Am suggesting we should all run. No one has any idea about how this power works .But with the little stories have had, the host decides who will be the host".
"What do you mean by the host decides who will be the host?" Margaret asked.
"Are you trying to scare us all?" Judith asked.
"Nope, not at all," Lare replied.
"Are you scared?" Margaret asked Lare.
