Vanessa sat down on the floor, looking so confused. "What do you mean by it belongs to me?" Vanessa asked.
"The time and extra training have been giving you, do you think it is just for nothing? The histories i spend my time on was to make you strong and also to make right decision," Christine replied.
"So, how am I entitled to this power?" Vanessa asked.
"I don't know for sure. But, what I know is that, the Seven Witches chose you to be their host. Vanessa, it is your turn to bring peace to the magical kingdom through this power" Christine said.
Vanessa chuckled "My turn, I don't understand,".
"Yes, your turn," Christine smiled.
"Was someone else once chosen?," Vanessa asked.
"Yeah. You are not the first and you won't be the last," Christine replied.
"What happened to the last chosen one?" Vanessa asked.
Christine sniffed. "Tell me," Vanessa said.
The last person the seven Witches chose to be their host was a lame witch. She faced a lot of difficulties, just to bring Peace and balance to the magical Kingdom. A powerful young lady that stands on her feet when it comes to war. Some called her OSANYIN because the spells and Incantations she uses at warfare are unique. It is said to believe that she died young due to because she had much enemies more than the past chosen one's.
Are real name was ADESEWA, a young witch that brought down the most powerful Coven called the Moon Coven in the western region. Her existence was inconvenience for the black Coven kingdoms. So, they all came together so as to kill her. Some said she was not born a lame, that her broken body was caused by those who called themselves the shadow Witches. But despite her broken body, she did her duty has the Peace maker in the magical Kingdom.
We were told that she died at the age of twenty six, killed at the middle of the battle, fighting the Moon coven just on her own. She used her last breath for something great and unforgettable. Her last breath created a visible huge wound on the black Coven kingdoms, a wound that can never heal.
The problem between Adesewa and the Moon Coven began when she decided to destroy every coven under the Black coven kingdoms, after she successfully defeated the shadow Witches. The main reason she took the impulsive step was due to the unheal wound the shadow Covens gave her and her love ones. Some said the death of her best friend Ayomide broke and changed her.
The Moon Covens are group of Witches, Wizards and sorcerers that appeared when it is full moon. Doing this period, they are always in there fullest strength and power. They are popularly called the unseen beings because every Covens believes there existence is just a myth. They are feared all over the magical Kingdom due to the damage they've done in the past. It is said to believe that they are the creators of demi-gods, that they use them to fight false gods.
Vanessa sniffed. "Why are they using demi-gods to fight false gods?" Vanessa asked.
"The souls of False gods are what they use to create demi-gods," Christine replied.
Christine continued.
The myth about them got Adesewa so curious. She waited for the next full moon to show up, so as to summon there leader. She told them the specific date she will be attacking, thinking she just created fear in them. At that same moment, Adesewa was battling with the Soul Witches when Yetunde her mentor told her all about the moon coven. She suspended the fight just because she thought the moon Coven are the root of all evils, but she was totally wrong.
When she started preparing to embark on the mission, her coven turned there back on her. They knew the Moon Coven are older than the power in her. Her parents told her not to, but she refused, having much believe on the power of the Seven Witches in her.
Three days before the date she promised, the whole western region experience a total darkness with full moon. Despite the full moon, there was still present of solid darkness around. Adesewa was without fear due to because she believes the seven Witches in her had the power of a thousand witches in them each. She had the capacity to act on the power and strength of each witch's in her. It is said to believe that her armies were greater in number of that of the moon Coven.
Spells and Incantations were mainly used at the battle ground. Some said her present was that of a sun. Despite all the Powerful alliance and demi-gods the Moon Coven had, Adesewa the Scarlett witch brought them down. I don't believe she was killed at the battle front by the Moon Coven. I believe she used herself has a sacrifice so as to win the war.
In the beginning, it was just only one; but after years of relation, they splitted and became two. After the vanishment of OSANYIN, a lame man, popularly known as the god of plants and herbs, some group of individuals came together to continue his legacy. OSANYIN the founder of magic, a great and first sorcerer of all man kind. These individuals called themselves Covens; they find there way to OLODUMARE (God) for permission to become the new protector of earth.
These individuals are of one interest, but with time, evil came in. They splitted and become two, the White and black Covens that we now know now. The simple truth is that, the power in Adesewe can't stand the Moon Coven, because they are part of the founders of witchcraft. Those who withnes the war said she had every power and strength to stop the war, but she didn't. What she did reduce the rate of human blood sacrifice and alot more. She chased the dark Covens into a void, locking them till eternity. Although there are still dark Covens around, but they are not has difficult to bring down if necessary.
"Wow, nice story. But am scared," Vanessa said.
"Scared of what?" Christine asked.
"To die Young," Vanessa stuttered.
Christine chuckled. "So, why do you want to steal the power?" Christine asked.
"To save my dad," she replied.
Christine sniffed. " Did my parents know about me being chosen?" Vanessa asked.
"Just your dad," Christine replied.
Vanessa sighed. "Why are you just telling me?" She asked.
"It's your dad's decision," Christine replied.
"I need to save my parents, and I need what is mine now," Vanessa said.
"it is in you already," Christine said.
"Like seriously,"Vanessa sounded surprised.
"The day i found out the power chose you was the day I empowered you," Christine chuckled.
Vanessa sighed. "I felt something huge in me the day I killed the leader of the Blood Coven. Please tell me I didn't use the power in me to kill?" Vanessa asked.
"I and your dad knew you won't accomplish the mission given to you has a new member, so we both decided to unlock the power in you to fight," Christine replied.
"So, you both locked the power after the mission, why?" Vanessa asked, looking confused.
Christine sniffed. "To get you prepared" she replied.
"So, how will I unlock it?" She asked.
"Through the water in the pot," Christine replied.
Vanessa dipped her hand into the pot to drink. "Don't be impulsive, that is what the Water Dominant want. They want you to fight them with the power in you" Christine said.
"Wow, I feel good. I will be right back," She said.
"Where are you going?" Christine sounded curious.
"To see your son," Vanessa replied.
Vanessa woke David up immediately she teleported in. When David saw her, he was lost within himself, so surprise to see her. Vanessa Smiled, looking at him from above, while he was still lying flat on the bed.
"This is 3:30am in the morning, what are you doing here?" David asked.
"Yeah, Good morning dear," She greeted.
He walked towards the toilet to pee. After he was done, he sat down close to his reading table.
"What's up? He asked.
Vanessa chuckled. 'Nothing much. Since the day you found out about me, we haven't talk that much," She replied.
"Yes. I found out my mum spend alot of time on you, more than me her son," David exclaimed.
Vanessa nodded her head. "Are you still angry?" She asked.
"Shouldn't I be?" David asked
Vanessa sniffed. "I seriously understand how bad you are feeling....
"Oh if you are here to make me understand, don't worry your mum has done that," David interrupted.
"She told me she was coming over," Vanessa said.
"So why are you here? David asked.
"To see you," Vanessa replied, looking worried.
Vanessa dragged him off from where he seated. "Did my mum know you are here?" David asked.
"Yes," Vanessa smiled.
"Wow," He sounded surprised.
"Yeah. David, I came here to see you, Incase today will be my last day with you," Vanessa said.
"I don't understand, what do you mean?" He asked, looking confused.
Vanessa sniffed. "We are at war with a group of Coven and it will cause a lot of lives," She sounded worried.
"Must you go? David asked, Holding Vanessa hands.
"I have to go," Vanessa replied.
"Let me talk to my mum, she will listen to me," David said, looking worried.
Vanessa nodded her head. "Don't worry".
"Promise me you will come back for me," He held Vanessa's arm when she was about to walk out from his bedroom. He pulled her very close to himself, giving her a kiss on the lips.
"I love you," He said. Vanessa looked directly into his eyeballs with a cold smile on her face, kissing him back.
"Oh my God, in my house," Christine exclaimed.
They were so shocked when they heard Christine's voice.
Christine chuckled. "Wow, we are both going to talk about what I just saw when I get back David."
"Let us go Vanessa," Christine said.
"Mum, is there anyway I can help?" David said when Vanessa and his mum was about to live.
Christine smiled. "Yes. lock your room entrance door behind you".
Vanessa smirked. "It is not funny," David said.
