The cab halted in front of a small bungalow. I paid the cab bill and thanked the driver before highlighting. He replied with a smile.
I walked to the door and push the doorbell. It rang twice before James opened the door. He smiled on seeing me and gave me a deep kiss on the lip.
"I missed you."He said. He looked left and right before letting me in.
"I missed you more"I said. He held my waist with his arms.
I know you will be surprised, but I and James had been dating. We both do the blackmailing business together.
"Why did you not call for a whole week?"I asked him as he nibble around my ears.
"I was extremely busy."He replied.
"You still haven't tell me what work you do"I said.
"You don't need to know"He said still nibble around my ears.
"Hmmm... Okay, I want to dig more in that Havel case"I said.
"Let's leave Havel alone for sometime"He said. He let go of my body. I could sense his being serious now.
"Why?, That girl is really frustrating me"I said and tried to drag him next to me again.
"Stop"He pushes me to the chair.
"Lats break up"He said.
"Are you joking with me?, Is it about Havel, okay I'll leave her alone"I said with a shaky voice.
"The boss do no longer need you to blackmail Havel again. He is going to use her for something else."He said.
"The boss? Who is the boss here?"I asked surprised at his words.
He laughed, "you have no idea who you are working for right?"He walk over to a table nearby and picked up a scissors.
I had thought it was for fun until I noticed him walking towards me in a mean way.
"You want to know which work I do?, If you find out, you'll d!e. Do you still wish to know?"He asked. I shake my head. He smiled and pinned me down to the chair.
"Janice, am an hired k!!!er. And I have been paid to k!!! you. What do you think?"he said. I tried to breathe but couldn't find a single breath.
"And besides am not James but Chris. Since you know now, it's be better for you to d!e."He pierce the scissors into the left side of my chest directly to my heart region.
I grasp for breathe, suddenly I kicked the bucket.

"What did you just say?!"Austin jumped out of his sit. He grab hold of my wrist and dragged me out of the library.
"How did it happen?"He asked. His heart was beating a lot. I wondered if he still have feelings for her.
I looked away, "her body was found this morning at a lonely road. Her chest was pierced with something."I said.
"Oh my goodness. What's happening?"He asked still looking so devastated like someone whose mother is dead. Does he still have feelings for her?
"Do you have feelings for Janice?"I asked.
"She's my ex, and am surprised at the nature of her death. Things are really happening."He said.
I wanted to ask him for help but couldn't when I remember his father's warning not to involve his children. So I'll just lure him.
"Austin, that night we talked at my window..."
"Yes what about that?"He asked.
"Do you still mean everything you said?"I asked.
"I meant every word I said but not anymore. I do no longer care about you anymore. I'd rather be on my own. You said you are going to be a new Havel, why don't you do that without me?. We are having our finals next year, I need to prepare. "He said and walked out before I could say another word.
I don't know how to lure him into the trap anymore. He just discouraged me. Maybe I should try next time.

I heard a knock on the door. I sluggishly open the door slightly. A woman in her mid 60's stood at the door. She has a broad smile on her face.
"Good day ma'am. How may I help you?"I asked.
"Oh my little boy of yesterday has grown up to be a big man. See how handsome you are"She said with tears in her eyes.
I would have closed the door on her but it would seem disrespectful. So I endured and stand still.
"Who are you please?"I asked.
"I am your mother."She said almost touching my face.
"My mother, what arrant n0nsense. Please leave if you don't have any business with me"I said.
The truth was I can't really remember my mother's face. I was only three when she left and my father told me that she's de*d.
"Sugar plum, I am your mother."She said.
My mind raced back to when she used to call me that name. She was the only person that calls me that.
I let her in after a little while.
"I thought you were de*d?"I asked.
"No son, I was never I'll nor de*d. That was your father's way of getting me off your head."She said.
"I don't understand anymore"I said.
"Sam, your dad has a wife and a concubines. I am that concubine, and I gave birth to you. His first wife gave birth to a girl. She died two weeks after giving birth. While Austin is the son of his late friend's wife."She explained.
"Then he gave the baby girl out. I saw him giving the child to one of his workers and asking them to k!!! her. "I said.
"Yes I know. He never wanted a female child. I tried to stop him that's why he sent some assassins to k!!! me. But I survived, that's why am here."She said.
I heaved a long sigh.
"So how did you survived?"I asked.
"I once worked for the CIA. Your father bought me with his money. I never knew what kind of man he was until got involved in his dirty business"She said.
"Thank goodness you are out of that house for good."She said.
"Why are you saying that?"I asked.
"Once you get to a certain age, he was going to use you as one of his gangs."She said looking around the room.
"What if I don't comply?"I asked.
"Then he'll k!!! you"
