Rena has been feeling uneasy since yesterday. But right now she didn't want to conclude that this was a serious matter or that it needed to be dealt with immediately.
Since yesterday the lower part of her stomach, to be precise in the uterus, has been a little painful. But over time it got worse. But she felt last night had eased a bit. So Luna's mother didn't say anything to anyone. And Rena didn't complain at all either. She had promised to become more mature and stronger. So now Rena is still holding this.
"What are you doing, honey?" asked Lukman this morning, who was going to work. He seemed to see Rena's grimacing face earlier. Lukman also asked.
"Emm, it's okay. It's just a little pain just now after hitting the table," The cliche excuse that Rena made seemed very convincing.
That made Lukman nod while rubbing Rena's stomach. "I hope you get well soon! If you haven't recovered quickly, call me, honey. I'll call mom later, okay, just come here for her."
"Don't! My mother is bothering you, I'll even bother your mother, let me be alone, okay? I promise it won't be anything," Rena said with a big smile. She looked better when she smiled like that. Lukman doesn't know that now Rena is back in a bit of pain.
"That's it. The most important thing now is if anything happens you have to tell me, OK, Rena."
Rena nodded. She will obey her husband.
Everything will be fine. Rena is sure her condition will be good. Yesterday was the same. Now it must be just because of fatigue, so now and then a little relapse. Rena said in her heart. She steeled herself with everything she could.
Lukman smiled and kissed Rena's forehead softly. He will leave his wife alone again at home. This is not Lukman's request. Lukman's mother will always be ready if needed, but Rena doesn't feel comfortable if she keeps bothering Lukman's mother. So Rena asks Lukman's mother to come home when she has free time. If you can't, don't force it.
"I'll go first, honey. Call me if anything goes wrong. Remember that, okay? I'll always pick up your phone. You have to promise to always call me if something goes wrong okay? Don't get in your way! Luna and you are my responsibility. Bye honey..."
Rena nodded and smiled broadly. Once again, the pain is disguised when you see Lukman and that smile. She thinks it's her medicine.
After Lukman went to work. Rena released her husband with a smile.
"There's something wrong with Rena," muttered Lukman while driving his car. I don't know if this is a hunch or what, but Lukman's heart doesn't have the heart to leave his wife alone in their house.
"I'll just call mom to get there right away," Lukman immediately stepped aside. He couldn't come back because he had a meeting he had to do. It's about important investors. He couldn't just pass up the opportunity for his company to get high capital.
"Sorry, Rena, I'll leave you with my mother first. I can't just stay at home," Lukman said softly. He's not selfish. He just wanted to make sure. Hopefully, nothing will happen to his wife.
Lukman, without speaking again, immediately contacted his mother. He asked for help and told everything concisely. Luckily when his mother understood.
"You don't worry! I'll take good care of Rena. Right now I'm free and I don't have any activities. I'd be very happy if I could meet Luna and Rena later. You can just go to the office! I want to get ready first."
Lukman is very relieved. He is so already out of mind. I hope Rena is okay. Hopefully, nothing will happen to his wife.
Meanwhile, Rena is now at home controlling her breath. She tried to manage to relieve the pain that was now growing under her stomach.
"Come on! It used to work when I was about to give birth to Luna. But why isn't it working now?"
Rena has a feeling it will get worse. But it doesn't hurt like this. Why did she feel more sore and sick at the same time than this morning and yesterday?
"What am I doing?" Muttered Rena while enduring pain. She really can't stand it but if she has to complain and make a lot of noise then her energy will be much more drained and that's not a good thing.
"Ouch... It hurts more."
Rena is useless. It's been about an hour now since Lukman's departure. She couldn't. I wanted to reach for the cell phone and call Lukman but it turns out that her cell phone is somewhere else now. She doesn't know where forgot to put it.
Rena's head was dizzy and cold sweat was pouring down. It made him even more tormented. Can't even want to cry. She was in pain.
"Mom... Rena hurts my stomach, Mom..." Rena's words were accompanied by tears. She is now no longer strong. She was in a room in a messy state. Her stomach hurts and can't be compromised anymore. Rena tried to hold back but was not strong. She slightly cursed her decision to choose to reject Lukman's proposal for his mother to come here. She regrets it now.
"Oh my God. Rena is not strong. I hope Mother is here. Rena feels very sick." Rena's tears came out again. She now could only cry. Everything is fine but she is not well now.
Luckily Rena didn't make a fuss. She would be very embarrassed if that happened. But this pain keeps adding. She could only hope and pray that someone would help her stand up or else she would continue like this.
Until Rena's consciousness was only half. The sound of her bedroom door opening. Someone with a familiar face walked in and screamed hysterically. She also immediately opened her cell phone and did not know who to call. Rena, who saw that, blinked her eyes. Sue knew someone was watching her. But she didn't see the look on her face.
Until someone approached and heard sobbing from that person.
"Oh my god... my daughter-in-law why..." Rena who heard that now took a deep breath. She is grateful that now her mother-in-law has come here.
"Mom..." That was all that could be said. Rena felt not strong anymore.
"Yes dear ... in a moment I've called an ambulance and Lukman also got here maybe a bit late. He has just started half the meeting but the point is already over. Just closing. Be patient, Rena! I'm sorry my son prefers work. Sorry ..."
Ren just smiled. She honestly is not strong anymore.
