X-PART – 6 : Threats in Front of Eyes
It looks like Romeo can't leave Rena alone or let her think all kinds of things. The proof is that Romeo has repeatedly found Rena talking about her past. This made Romeo even more anxious.
Not for what? But because he is afraid that Rena's memory will return and stay away from him. He was worried that his wife would recall the dark past buried long ago.
"What are you doing?" Romeo asked while hugging Rena from behind. The woman had been busy recycling and had not greeted Romeo in the living room for almost an hour.
"I'm making snacks," said Rena curtly. "Or what do you want me to do? You want steak, or do you want something low in calories?"
Romeo shook his head. The man inhaled the crook of Rena's neck and squeezed the young girl's stomach. "I do not want anything. I want to be alone with you all day."
Rena stopped kneading her hands in the dough. "It's very bumpy. Haven't you been busy with your business lately? Last week you ignored me and preferred to look at the laptop screen." Rena snorted. He then wiped the sweat off his forehead with the back of his hand.
"Am I like that? I don't think so," Romeo objected. The man admitted that he had been spending more time with his laptop for the past few days because he had to take care of things as quickly as possible.
"Are you so old that you must forget the things that just happened?" Rena turned her body until now she was face to face with Romeo. Their faces were very close, only a few centimeters away.
Rena wrapped her arms around Romeo's neck. "What do you want, Romeo? How come you're being spoiled?"
Romeo brought his nose to hers and mumbled something. "There's nothing I want. What do I want?"
Rena couldn't help but laugh, let go of Romeo's neck, and was about to get back to work. However, the man did not allow it.
"You've been in the kitchen too long when I want you to be by my side watching television." Romeo then took Rena's hand and washed it in the sink. "Accompany me for today, and I don't want you to be ignored like before."
The black-haired woman just complied and followed where Romeo took her.
Her face was getting redder because it turned out that Romeo had brought her into the room. Her mind was all over the place, and she was unsure where to go. If Romeo invited her here at a particular hour, there must be something he wanted to do. And you must know very well what it is.
"It's still noon. You don't intend to sleep, do you?" Rena asked, giving her husband a little distance even though it was unnecessary.
Without a word, Romeo took off his black shirt and threw it in any direction.
Rena's throat became dry because of the fascinating sight. She could not escape the tough muscle that Romeo showed.
"I think I dislocated my shoulder from accidentally lifting a sack of rice earlier."
"A sack of rice? Since when did you become a coolie?" It was not a joking sentence but a dominating worry. Rena immediately brought Romeo to lay the man's body on the bed.
"We should go to the hospital. I was afraid that something would happen." Rena spoke in a trembling voice. His hand stroked Romeo's large arm.
"No need. You just massaged it a little. I'll make sure it will work. I was helping an old grandmother on the street because she was having difficulty getting a sack of rice into her apartment, Honey.
"I can't," said Rena.
"You can. You're the one who always healed me in the pack before--" Romeo cursed his stupidity and immediately buried his head in the pillow. He's foolish! Sometimes he doesn't keep his word
"Where do you mean? Did I live in the same pack as you before?" Rena felt even more suspicious. It's like he always gets flashbacks at random times. It had only been a few days since she remembered being in a palace and wearing maid clothes. But he didn't know where it was.
"I don't talk like that." Romeo changed the subject and then got up from his bed. This cannot be allowed. "May I touch you this afternoon?"
Rena's eyes narrowed. "You just changed the subject."
"For the sake of Moongoddes, My Dear. Do you know how frustrated I get when you're on your period? And now I know you're done. Then let me kiss you."
The cradle was lovely, as well as the touch that Romeo gave to her lover.
Honestly, Rena was never angry with what Romeo did. But she wanted to know what happened in the past. She remembers her childhood, but she doesn't remember the youth she spent. Does this have to do with all of his dreams coming in succession?
***
Rena opened her eyes. The sun's glare had made her wake up from the happiest point she always felt with her husband.
Her eyes glanced to the right. Right, where Romeo was lying while facing her. The man's hand was also still on Rena's hip very tightly. As if not wanting to let go.
Rena kissed Romeo's forehead and made the man a little annoyed.
The 24-year-old woman sighed in relief and tried to get out of her husband's grip, even with super extra strength.
Finally ...
"Uh..." Rena sighed. When she felt that his groin hurt, this was not the first time Romeo acted violently. Even though he repeatedly reminded Romeo to keep playing gently, he didn't seem to want to obey.
"I have to take a hot bath. I know he has a lot of energy, but if I continue like this, I'm sure my bones will break." Rena snorted and left Romeo, still sleeping in his dream world.
When Rena was about to take a towel from the top cupboard, she accidentally dropped a brown paper. Paper rolled like a letter in medieval times.
Trying to fix the blanket, not to sag, she reached for the paper on the floor and was about to open it.
Rena closed. The scent that emanated from this paper was like she had smelled before. The aroma was calming, and it felt like it was dominating something she didn't understand. The scent is sweet and firm at the same time. Rena didn't understand this scent but was like Deja Vu and entered the brown paper.
For some reason, his hands trembled as he unrolled the paper.
The Lightcrown Claws Pack
The large engraving is on paper.
A name that seems familiar. She had heard this pack from the conversation between Ben and Romeo when she accidentally overheard it.
Our Beloved Beta Romeo,
Deg!
Why is her husband called Beta? Isn't that the deputy position of an Alpha?
How are you, Son? We miss you. Come home!
I, Jonathan, and Irene want you back in the pack. Take Rena Schaaci with you. We apologize for what happened. Sincerely from the bottom of our hearts, we apologize for the mistakes that have occurred over the past few years.
I've sent someone to send a letter to Bennedict Schaacio, but still no reply.
We were hoping you could return to the pack, be our family, and carry on with your pending tasks.
Beta Romeo,
Only you can be relied on. You are the one who can make the pack safe and secure. No one can replace you.
Beta Romeo, tell your wife, Rena Schaaci, that Irene, how much she misses her child. She wanted her daughter back in her arms. Come on, be a complete family. It's okay if she forgets her identity. We'll accept it. Maybe it was a crushing blow that we had to get.
Go home, Beta Romeo, and bring your little family back to the pack.
Your Family,
The Lightcrown Claws Pack.
Rena's tears fell and landed on the brown paper.
"Dear ...."
Right at the door, there was Romeo, who was looking at her with a worried look. Not to mention the man's breath was choking.
Rena smiled wryly and handed the brown paper roll to Romeo. "I never go wrong with my instincts, Beta Romeo. Is this what you've been hiding all this time?Download Novelah App
