Amelia's POV
I wake up to my alarm, and quickly turn off the annoying noise. I immediately get ready for school, and take a quick shower.
I exit my room, and walk towards Esmeralda house. It's dead silent, so I know everyone is still sleeping. Wish I could get an extra 30 minutes... Treating you like a maid every damn day.
Not like I have a choice... They let me stay here and she has control over my bank account, until my birthday. August needs to get here sooner.
I start cooking pancakes and bacon, while I watch another episode of Lucifer on my phone. How does Chloe not believe him?! It's probably too early in the show... Love Trixie though!
I finish making them their food, and set the table. I grab a random granola bar from the pantry, and wait for Lily to come pick me up. I wish I had a car...
A few minutes later, Lily arrives with drinks. "I just wanted to thank you again, for Saturday." She says, handing me a drink.
"No problem. That's what best friends are for." I say, accepting the drink.
"Anything happen at Cassy's party? You know I live for drama." She says dramatically.
"I don't think anything interesting happened. But Sylvester found out I own the bracelet." I say, sipping on the drink.
She gasps and says, "Bitch, spill!"
I hide my blush and lightly punch her arm. "He found out with that family picture on my desk. That's it." I mumble.
"He was in your room?!" She asks, surprised.
"Ya, he came to Cassy's party, and found me. We talked for awhile, and then Cassy came to shout out orders. Someone vomited in the house." I say pretending to gag.
"That sucks you had to clean that." She says with a look of disgust.
"Well... Sylvester actually cleaned it." I say, biting back a grin.
"He cleaned? He's clearly in love with you." She declares.
"Oh shut up." I say, as we get into the school's parking lot.
"How about you and Jase? What was it like finding out it was him?" I ask.
"It was... surprising. Good surprising. I never noticed how good looking he was until I saw him up close." She states, exiting the car.
"Someone's clearly in love." I tease.
"It was just one date." She says, rolling her eyes. I raise my eyebrow and she sighs. "Our next one is this weekend.
But don't worry, you won't have to spy this time."
We walk into the school, and Lily realizes she needs to meet with a teacher before class. "I forgot I had notes to copy before class starts." She says, leaving me alone in the crowded hallway.
I head towards my locker, needing to grab a textbook, when I got there Sylvester is waiting for me at my locker, and I feel my heart flutter. Repeat that? Shut up I say to myself.
"Miss me already?" I tease.
"Always." He says holding up my bracelet.
I hold out my wrist, and he gently clasps it. "Thank you." I say, showing it off.
The bells rings and he asks, "What class do you have?"
"Sex Education. Favorite class ever." I say sarcastically.
He laughs and I notice he has dimples. Where the hell did those come from? It's official, you like him. Haha, very funny, my subconscious said"
"I'll walk with you, my class is in the hallway beside it." He says.
I nod and walk beside him. "Are you busy on Saturday?" He asks.
"Depends..." I say, raising an eyebrow.
"Well there's this charity event my parents are forcing me to attend..." He says.
"Ouch. Have fun with that." I say, continuing to walk to class.
"Uh... I-I was hoping you could be my date." He says sheepishly.
I turn around and ask, "For real? Why me?"
"I might have... made a small lie to my parents. About having a girlfriend." He murmurs the last part.
"Can you repeat that? I think Sylvester Black, the kind of famous but not really, is asking me something?" I ask, cupping my ear.
He sighs and lightly shoves me. "Will you be my fake girlfriend for the weekend?" He asks.
"I don't know... I'm actually really busy this weekend." I say, leaving him in the hall.
Before I enter my class, I turn around and see him pouting. "I'll be there, babe." I say winking at him.
His whole face lights up and he blows me a kiss. I laugh and flip him off. I wonder if charity events have food...?

Lily meets me in the cafeteria, and steals one of my chips. "Finally! You made me look like a loner sitting alone." I say.
"Amelia Reed, you're never alone when we're here." I hear someone say behind me.
Lily and I turn around, and see Jase and Sylvester. "Mind if we join?" Jase asks.
"I don't mind." Lily says, glancing at me.
"Does he have to stay?" I ask, pointing at Sylvester.
"You're breaking my heart, Amelia darling." Sylvester says, pulling up a chair.
They settle in their seats, and I see Tiffany and Cassy with their group, strolling into the cafeteria.
"Are you sure you actually want to sit here with us?" I whisper to Sylvester .
"You may be an asshole, but they're worse." He whispers back.
Pretending to be offended I say, "If I'm an asshole, then you're a dick.
So rude. And for what?" You should think before you speak dumbass.
"Since I'm a dick can I put it in your asshole?" He whispers with a smirk.
My eyes widen and my jaw drops. I slap his arm and say, "I'm never talking again."
"That's okay. You'll be too busy screaming." He winks.
I internally scream and have a mortified expression. He laughs and I say, "Stop. I'm changing the subject."
"Look what the cat dragged in." Cassy says, stopping at our table.
I look her up and down and say, "Look what the dog threw up."
"You look a little uglier than usual, is everything okay?"
Tiffany ask me, trying to place her hand on Sylvester. He flicks her hand off, and moves closer to me.
"Ya, I was just trying to look like you today." I say sweetly.
Her face becomes red with anger, and she tries to spill her bottle of water on me.
But Sylvester grabs her wrist and says, "I wouldn't do that if I were you."
"Can you guys disappear? We're trying to eat lunch and you're making me lose my appetite." Lily adds.
"Good, you could lose a few pounds." Cassy says. 
"Your constant fixation with my body makes me think you either want me or want to be me. Either way, it's a compliment." Lily says shrugging.
Jase whispers something in Lily's ear, causing her to blush. Awwww young love. Sucks you'll be dying alone, my subconscious says"
"I see you've chosen to sit with these freaks. No wonder you're not as popular as us." Tiffany says, walking away.
Sylvester holds in a laugh and I pat his arm. "I know you really wanted a fun high school experience. Is this what you were dreaming of?" I ask.
"Meeting you was definitely worth it." He answers honestly.
I softly smile and say, "You're not the worst I guess. Still a dick."
"A dick that-" Sylvester starts to say, before the bell rings.
"Don't repeat whatever you were gonna say." I say, standing up.
"Three more classes." Lily says unenthusiastically.
"Bye babe." Sylvester jokingly says, when we separate in the hallway. I blow him a kiss, and he pretends to catch it.
