She was spinning like a Moon.
And he was spinning like an Earth.
"Nique, let's sleep here!" Lauver said.
"So that we can wake up in Real World." He added.
"You mean, when we're sleeping here in the Strange Place, we are awake in the Real World?"
"I thought maybe yes!"
"But how we sleep here?"
"Let's try to close our eyes. As what we do in reality when we're going to sleep."
Nique tried it. She followed what Lauver said. Lauver did it as well.
But in reality, in Real World, Lauver eyes were not close. He led Nique to get in the house.
While the other hiding peeked if what happened to the two why it took so long and still Nique didn't answer "Yes" to Lauver.
"Why she didn't still answer?" Zeira asked Wilmon.
"I don't know." Wilmon replied.
"Where they are going?" Nique's younger sister asked.
"Maybe, Lauver has another surprise for Nique." Nique's dad said.
"They are going inside!?" Nique's younger sister secretly followed the two.
"Maybe your dad was right!" Her Mom said.
"My son really likes surprises." Lauver's mom said.
"Let's let them.. and let's just wait for them to come back." Lauver's dad said.
Lauver led Nique to get inside the guest room downstairs because her room was on the 3rd floor so it's hard to lead her on the stairs to go there while her eyes still close.
He closed the door when they entered.
"Nique you should lay down, you can't sleep while standing that's why you can't woke up. You are awake in the Strange Place but you're spirit still awake in the real even your eyes are close. That's why you can't sleep there in the Strange Place. You need to sleep there." Lauver explained. He just tried what had he thought.
So he lay Nique down on the bed. Gently and slowly.
"I tried this way, I hope it work!"
He waits for Nique to wake up. He checked the ring from his pocket. He looked at it.
After a while, Nique has woken up.
"Lauver?"
"Nique you're awake now!" He was very happy to see Nique awaken.
He immediately hides the box of ring in his pockect. Nique got up from laying. Lauver approached her.
Then Nique suddenly hugged him.
He was shocked for it. Nique has never done it even before since they became together, that she's the first to hug.
"Why?" Lauver asked him. He got curious by Nique's hugged.
Nique didn't reply.
"Did you remember when we're talked in the Strange Place?"
Nique was just nodded.
"What else did you remember?" He tried if Nique remembered about the proposal surprise.
Nique looked at him and smiled.
"Wait, wait, wait... before you answer let's go back outside at the backyard!" Lauver suddenly said, when Nique was about to speak.
He wants the setting, the background and of course the important people in their lives, Nique should answer "Yes" while all of those could listen.
It took 30 minutes before they came back. The people behind the house in the backyard were waiting for them.
"30 minutes ago, what did they do?" Rhylle asked curiously.
"Maybe Lauver has his own surprise that only the two of them could know, of course Lauver knew that we're hiding here, listening and watching!" Zeira explained.
"I'm going to repeat it."
Nique was smiling because she knew what Lauver meant.
He kneeled down. Then he got something from his pocket and it is a box, a box of ring.
"Nique, will you marry me?" As he opened the small box. He showed up the ring.
The stone on it is a real diamond. It shines every time hit by lit.
Tears formed in her eyes. But it's a tears of joy. She's overwhelmed by glad.
Her family, Lauver's family, her friends.. she was really surprised when they showed up themselves and cheered.
Different feeling she has felt. Surprised, happy, excitement, nervous, shy, embarass, glad and joy. But her heart and mind has one thing with the same feeling wants to say "yes."
"Of course, Yes!" She answered.
The people surrounds them cheered again. They all thrilled.
"..I will marry you Lauver."
Then Lauver put the ring on her finger.
Lauver stands up and hugged her. Then he was very proud of, he shows to all among the people there how happy and lucky he was that Nique accepted his proposal.
He proudly said that they are now engaged. Because of joy, he couldn't resist himself, he suddenly kissed Nique on her lips.
All the people there that watching were surprised. Very thrilled.
After the speech she and Lauver shared about their love story, they began to celebrate. The foods and drinks were already prepared.
The engagement proposal has end succesfully.
Today they will take some rest because tomorrow they will go back to the Lighthouse in Nayiba Island.All the guests already left. Only Lauver's parents were left in their house. They are now talking with Nique's parents.While Lauver and Nique in front of them.
"So when?" Lauver's nom was excited.
She was asking about the wedding.
Nique and Lauver looked at each other.
"We haven't talked about it yet, we will plan about this when we arrive in the Lighthouse." Lauver replied his mom.
"Yes. We're just engaged recently, just yesterday." Nique said.
"Hahaha! Oh, she's right. Okay! Let's wait for them for their decision if when is the wedding." Lauver's dad said.
"Don't take it too long!" Nique's mom said.
"Your mom was right! The four of us are getting old. So we need to see our grandchildren as soon as possible.." Her dad said.
"Dad!" Nique was reacted.
They were now arrived the Lighthouse. Lauver remembered that it's his turn to write. Since Nique tired from travel, she said to Lauver that she will have to sleep first.
While Nique inside her room and sleeping, Lauver was inside the library, writing the continuation of the last chapter they wrote. He added now another new chapter. He wrote the happenings when they were at Nique's home in the province. Suddenly he heard inside himself Nique's voice. But he was not sure if he really heard or he just suddenly remembered her. He stopped writing to check Nique.
When he opened the door, he was shocked. Because Nique was not there. He tried to check in the shower room. She's not there too. Where did she go? He asked in mind.
He hurried out of the room to find Nique. Then he saw her in the kitchen, she was standing and didn't move.
"Nique!" Lauver shook her to wake up.
Here again. He didn't hear her voice. Meaning, Nique was alone in the Strange Place. He must to go there to remind her to wake up.
"Nique, call me!" He said.
But still he's not been in the Strange Place.
He led Nique to sit on the sofa in the living area. Lauver didn't know what to do because even he whispered on Nique's ear it not works. Maybe Nique couldn't hear him. They can't hear each other now, unlike before. So he decided to close his eyes, just a try if he can go there in the Strange Place.
He was holding Nique's hands. But when he noticed that it took minutes still he just saw nothing than dark, he decided to open his eyes. And when he opened his eyes, he saw the place has changed. He knew he was already in Strange Place too, he saw the beaming things came from Nique. Even he can't see clearly its face because of the glare, he knew that it was Nique.
"Nique!" He called her.
"Lauver! Come with me, wake me up!"
Lauver didn't know why he did this, he moved fast even he feels that he was floating, unlike before that he couldn't manage himself like he was in control. But now he managed himself to go where he wants. After a while he was able to approach Nique.
He reached her hand. When he did hold it, he never let it go. Until they got closer. Very close. Until Lauver did see her face clearly. And it was really Nique.
"I am very amazed and wondered, what kind are you Nique? You look like goddess.. you are very beautiful."
Then he couldn't resist himself which is very close to her. He touched her face, her chin, and lifted it, then kissed her lips. She also responds on it. She wrapped her arms around his neck while she feels the touch of his hand around her waist.
Suddenly, they had been back in reality or in the Real World in that situation. They both didn't noticed.
"I love you Nique." He said in mind.
Nique heard him even he didn't speak.
"I love you too, Lauver." She replied, also without voice. It's just in her mind.
Lauver heard her too.
When they both opened their eyes only then they noticed that they were already back in the Real.
"I understand now what the voice sounded powerful in the Strange Place said!"
"What do you mean?"
"That I have a destined Moon. And that was you."
"And you just only has one Moon, because you're the Earth.
"And my World will just rotate on your!"
"Because you're my only World, so I will do too."
