"I thought you won't go with me?"
"I realized it, because after this.. you're the one next would live with my family in the province."
Lauver smiled while he was driving the car.
Nique almost didn't use her own car since they became together. It seems she got a personal driver. But a sweet lover.
"Honestly, I am very excited to meet your family and stay there in the province to live with them.. unlike you...." He moved his face to get closer to Nique as he said.
Lauver annoying her.
Nique ignored him.
"Because I want to get close to your parents." Lauver suddenly became serious.
"So that they can accept me right away and so for them I could be worthy for their strange daughter." Even he was serious but he really has a strong sense of humour.
"Hahaha!" Nique laughed.
"I wonder if they already knew about your being unusual." Lauver said.
"They didn't know yet."
Lauver opened the car door for Nique. He looks so gentleman for Nique whenever he did it. Lauver's place was so wide. Their house was far from it's gate.
"Welcome Hija!" Lauver's mom greeted Nique as she and Lauver approached.
Then Lauver hugged her mom.
Lauver's mom was on the balcony when they arrived. She already saw the two that coming.
"How are you Auntie?" Nique said.
"I'm good. Have a seat."
Nique sat. While Lauver went inside.
Then suddenly the maid came with glasses of juice. She put it on the table. Lauver's mom gave the one glass of juice to Nique.
"Thank you Auntie."
The two talked. Lauver's mom shared about some memories with his husband which is Lauver's Dad when they were young. They love story was very memorable. And until now, they are still together. It can be written as a Romance Novel and it could be made into a film movie.
Wilmon was also invited.
Since he and Zeira have mutual understanding, he asked Lauver that he will bring Zeira too. Of course Lauver agreed. Because Wilmon courting Zeira. And yet they still not a partner now.
The gowns are arrived in the house brought by the delivery man. After checking the gowns and the suits, Lauver's mom called Nique.
"Why you didn't tell me that you are a fashion designer too?" Lauver's mom said.
She gave the one box to Nique.
"Try that! I want to see you if the gown is beautiful and the size fits you."
"This is for me?"
"Yeah! You should wear that in our wedding anniversary."
"Thank you Auntie!"
As she opened the box. Her eyes widened. The gown is very elegant!
She got it from the box and she gently showed it off to see the whole gown and its design.
"Wow!" They concurrent.
"Go inside and try it!" Lauver's mom said.
Nique followed what Lauver's mom said. But she also followed Nique to get inside.
"I will help you Hija!"
She was looking herself at the mirror. The gown was amazing! It's really elagant, she admired the designer. She said in mind.
"It's fits you Hija! You looks so beautiful in that gown!"
"Auntie, thank you. Why wouldn't you try your gown Auntie?, try it.. I want to see yours.. and you with your gown!" Nique was excited.
Seems they were now close to each other. She also feels comfortable. This is what she didn't expect like what had she said to Lauver before.
Nique helped Lauver's mother to wear her gown.
"Wow! Wonderful!" Nique gladly said and applauded.
"Thank you Hija." A shine in her smile while looking at the mirror.
"It's suits you Auntie, you're the beautiful bride among those brides in 30th Wedding Anniversary." Nique praised her.
Bu it's real, Lauver's mom looks very beautiful and younger than her age. She was 50 plus of age, but she looks like forties.
"I never thought that you are a fashion designer too, if my son told me earlier.. maybe it's you who made my gown and yours too."
"It's okay auntie my designs are just simple unlike the gowns you had now."
"Ahm Auntie, did Lauver show you a magazine?" Nique became curious if Lauver also told her mom that she's became a model too of Fabric Fashion Magazine. And if they knew that their son was as well?
"What magazine?"
"Fabric Fashion Magazine."
"No! Why?"
"It's your son, became a magazine cover." Nique whispered.
"Really?" Lauver's mom was surprised.
"My son doesn't told me about that." She also said.
Nique smiled. She planned to annoy and embarrass Lauver to his parents. Because for sure he didn't want his parents to know about this. She smiled secretly.
"I want to show you this Auntie."
Then Nique got her phone from the table where she had put it. She scrolled the photos from her gallery.
When she saw the picture of the magazine of Fabric Fashion which the cover was Lauver and herself, she showed it.
"Here Auntie."
Lauver's mom took a looked to the photo that she shows. Then she was shocked!
"Is that Lauver?"
"Yes Antie!" Then Nique laughed.
"Oh! My son! I couldn't believe it! He is so hot!" Then she laughed too.
"I would have bought the magazine too if only I knew about this." She also said.
"Auntie, Lauver hides it from you. He maybe feels embarrassed."
"And this gorgeous girl?" Then she looked at Nique.
Nique closed her mouth.
"The two of you! Hmmm.. the Magazine Cover. You did great!"
"But at that time Auntie, we're just friends."
"Really? So the director or photographer of this photoshoot was very good! Hmmmph.. and you two like picture that developed."
"Ahh.... Auntie!" Because Nique got the sense.
Lauver's mom teases them.
"But do you have some new shots when modeling?"
Lauver's mom asked.
Then Nique showed to her all shots she has in her phone in the photoshoot of Fabric Fashion from the old pictorial to the latest.
"Who told you mom?" Lauver asked her mom curiously.
"Who else?" Her mom said. She teased Lauver.
"I know! It's Nique!"
"Hahaha!"
"Why did she tell you that!?"
"And I saw you in the cover of magazine, you're quite good in modeling! And you look so hot!" Her mom teased him.
He really feels embarrassed.
"She showed you the magazine?"
Her mom just replied a smile. A wide smile as an ocean.
"Keep it up son, I'm going to the veranda. Bye Hijo."
Then her mom walked away.
"Oh Nique!..Why?!" He said alone. He shook his head.
