Chapter 121: The Alien's Invasion
Kaila
I didn't expect that those aliens I saw would come back. There were a lot of them this time. They started attacking the planet, destroying the building, and terrorizing people. It was disturbing to know that no manmade weapons could be used against them.
Fortunately, with the help of Alicia's hellish training, which I thought would be useless, I could easily defeat the aliens. I beat them using my bare hands, dodged their bullets, and crushed their bones.
"It's useless crashing them one by one, Kaila," Alicia said. "They'll keep coming. There are a lot of them, and they can regenerate even their broken bones."
"Then how am I supposed to stop them?" I asked.
"Go and find their leader. This alien has the power to stop his subordinates," Alicia said.
"Alright." I used my thousand-mile eyes to search for the leader of the aliens and found him in the spaceship. "He's in the spaceship. Can you bring me there?"
Alicia used teleportation magic and sent me to the spaceship where the aliens' boss stayed. She couldn't enter there, as her ghostly presence was repelled by an invisible presence, so she just gave up and told me that she'd wait outside. Those aliens might be able to see ghosts too.
I entered the room and saw the leader of the aliens was sitting on the throne. Surrounded by his elite alien guard. Someone suddenly appeared beside me. At first, I thought it was an enemy, but when I looked at his face, I realized it was a boy in my dream. Someone who saved me from the giant frog.
"Lil, is that you?" I asked.
He looked at me. He has blue, glassy eyes, short black hair, a pointed nose, high eyelashes, and a cold complexion. Looking at his pinkish lips, I remembered that kiss we had. I blushed thinking about it.
He faked a cough to clear his throat and asked, "Kaila? What are you doing here?"
"That's my line," I said. "What are you doing here?"
"I'm here to kill the leader of those green monsters," he replied. "How about you?"
"We want the same thing," I said.
"We don't have much time left to talk. Let's finish this. Let's stop the aliens from invading our world." Lil was so cool even with the way he spoke.
"Um!" I raised the machine gun I grabbed from a cop before going here.
The leader of the aliens said something I couldn't understand as he stood up from his throne, took the stairs, and slowly walked toward us.
"Stop right there!" I exclaimed, pointing my machine gun at his head. I was about to shoot him when Lil stopped me. He touched my hand and lowered it down. I was confused about what he was doing. Didn't he want to kill the leader of the aliens and stop this war?
"What's wrong, Lil?" I asked.
"Let's not kill him. I have a better plan." Lil approached the alien, as if he had lost his mind. "We're here to talk with you. You have to stop this invasion."
The leader said something I couldn't understand, but it seemed like Lil could understand him. They continued talking, but it seemed like their conversation didn't go well, as the leader of the aliens stepped back and his guards approached Lil.
"Kaila, run!" Lil shouted at me.
"No, I won't leave you here alone." I shoot the aliens, but they were tough and could still walk despite the bullet holes in their bodies.
"Just run if you don't want to die!" He shouted.
I panicked as the aliens got close to me. Then, I remembered Alicia's hellish training. I didn't train that hard just to give up to these annoying green monsters. So, I showed them the real me. I kicked and punched them all so strongly that it sent them flying away.
"Kaila, what are you doing?" Lil rushed towards me. "You shouldn't do that. They'll keep coming at you. Leave this to me. I can kill their leader alone."
"Do you think I'll let you do that alone? I'm here to stop this alien invasion, Lil. I can take care of myself." I ran towards the leader of the aliens, but another set of alien guards stopped me.
"Let her go!" Lil shoots fireballs toward the aliens. I thought I was going to die, but he saved me again. I didn't know what happened, but I got teleported toward him as the fireballs bit the aliens.
"I can't stop you from doing what you want, so just stay close to me." He held my hand.
I blushed looking at him, but it wasn't the right time to think about romance, or we'd get ourselves killed. We fought the aliens together. It was like dancing amidst the chaos. I couldn't understand, but I felt safe around him.
After a few minutes of fighting hard, all the aliens in the spaceships were finally gone, except for their leader, who was still sitting on his throne. His composure was destroyed. He trembled as we approached him.
Lil pointed a sword at his neck and said, "Last warning, stop the aliens from invading the world, or I'll cut your head off."
The leader of the aliens said something in a trembling voice. He seemed to realize that we were serious. He slowly stood up and headed to the control room. He typed something in the computer, something I couldn't understand.
"What did he say?" I asked.
"He already told his subordinates to stop attacking and go home," Lil replied. "There's nothing to worry about now. Let's get out of here."
Mission completed. We confidently went out of the spaceships and watched the aliens leave the planet with their spaceships. I admired how Lil stopped them without killing their leader. He was so cool!
"I think that's the last," Lil said. He looked me in the eyes and held my face. I was expecting to receive a kiss, but he didn't. "Well done, Kaila. Would you mind having coffee with me?"Download Novelah App
