"We received a letter last night from the werewolves, they wants to hold a peace conference". Alex said to Jaspef.
"Hand over the letter to me". Jaspef replied.
Yesterday night was kinda hectic because he slept in the guest room, which wasn't comfortable considering the fact that he wasn't used to sleeping there. "All thanks to my darling mate".
Alex handed the letter to him and his eyes ransacked through it.
After reading the letter he chuckled. "A peace conference? after sending someone to spy on us? isn't this ridiculous?".
"I thought as much, but they might be a reason behind this sudden peace conference". Alex Said.
"Of course there is, and it's something fishy and I must attend the peace conference". He said.
"Don't you think it's risky?". Alex asked.
"Yeah it's risky for the both of us, because it's between the two borders deep inside the mountains". He replied.
"How about your mate? are you gonna leave her behind". Alex asked.
"Of course she'll stay behind and you'll watch after her, don't let leave my room, do we have an understanding?".
"Yes we do". Alex replied.
"Good".
"I'm leaving for the peace conference in the evening, tell Diane to be prepared, she'll be coming with me". He said and Alex blinked his eyes disappointedly.
"Diane?". Alex asked.
"Yes.. is anything wrong with it?".
"Of course not, I'll go tell her". Alex hurriedly left.
He doesn't want Jaspef to read his mind, because obviously he's not happy with the fact that Diane would be going with him.
"Let see how this goes". Jaspef said.
PETERSON POV'S
I walked into the room and I found mum sitting at a corner, crying silently.
"Oh no!, she's at it again".
"Mum". I called and the moment she heard my voice she quickly wiped off her tears.
"Oh..son you're back".She smiled pretending like nothing happened.
"Is it still because of my twin sister? mum I promise to help you look for her, didn't I?". I asked.
"Am sorry son, I...I just couldn't help it". She said and she continued crying.
"Hush now mum, I'll help you find Aubrey and I'll tell her how much you missed her". I pacified patting her back.
"Will she forgive me?". She slowly asked.
I just don't like when my mum is acting this way.
"She will mum, didn't I forgive you when you told me about my twin sister? after you explain everything thing to her I'm sure she'll forgive you okay?". I said and she nodded.
"Please don't cry again, it hurts me to see you in tears".
"I'm sorry, sorry for making you feel that way, I'll try my best but I can't promise you anything". She said.
"Come her mum". I said and I embraced her.
"You're the best son in the world". She said and I smiled.
"Who's the best mum in the whole universe? definitely you!". I said and she laughed.
"I love you mum, you're the strongest woman I've ever seen".
"I love you very much son, you made me the strong woman I am today" She said and she pulled out of the embrace and she pecked my cheek.

Drake sat beside the waterfall staring at it, he sighed and he said. " I hope the peace conference work out".
"Drake!, Drake!, Drake!". He heard someone called from behind and turned.
"Cassie? Cassie is that really you?". He stood up and he asked in surprise.
"Of course dummy, it's me, flesh and blood". She said and she jumped on him. He caught her in his arms and he smiled.
Still in his arms, she hugged him tightly sniffing his hair. " it's been long since I perceived your scent". She smiled.
"What're you doing here Cassie?". He asked trying to put her down but she refused.
"Hold me in your arms a little longer okay? don't you miss me?". She asked.
"Of course I do, you're my best friend afterall, but you shouldn't be here". He said.
"I heard about the peace conference you're planning with the vampires, I decided to come so I could protect you". She said and she relaxed on his chest.
*Get her off me now!* Hedes growled.
"Get down Cassie".He said but she shook her head.
*I said now!!* Hedes growled and he could feel the how angry his wolf is.
He removed her head from his chest and he pushed her down, but he supported her with one hands so she wouldn't fall.
"Cassie you should behave, we're no longer kids". He warned.
"Whatever". She said. "I'll be going with you to the peace conference".
"No you won't".
"Yes... I will".
"Fine whatever, don't say I didn't warn you". He said.
"Incase you've forgotten, I'm not a princess who's waiting for her prince charming in a shinning armor to come save her". She retorted.
"Are the elders coming along". She asked.
"Of course not, I wanted to go alone, not until you came".
"The elders should be there with you". She said.
"They won't, I told them not to, it's for their safety, I don't know if those vampires would try shit".
"I'm here now, not a chance". She said then she jumped and she pecked him on his cheek.
She had to jump because he's way taller than her.

"Shut it Hedes, you're always ranting".
"Hey? snap back, I've been talking to you but you aren't replying". Cassie said.
"Oh!, what we're you saying?".
"Let's go prepare for the peace conference". She said.
"Right we should". He said and they both left to their respective rooms.
