Alpha Jaspef sat in the throne room together with Alex.
He facepalm himself and he sighed.
Alex noticed something was wrong, so he asked. "I heard you've found your mate, shouldn't you be with her?". He pretended like wasn't aware.
Jaspef could read his mind if he wanted to, but right now that wasn't his concern.
"She's a human". He simply replied.
"What's she's human?". Alex asked, this time around he was really surprised but Jaspef kept shut.
"Don't you think you should inform the elders about this, or maybe since she's here, she can help you find your cure". Alex suggested.
"We can't inform the elders yet".
"Sorry to ask, but why?". Alex asked.
"Don't you get? she doesn't feel the mate bond, she's a f**king human, how do you think a weakling like her would help me find my cure". He half yelled.
"Since you said she can't help you in finding your cure, what if she's your cure instead?". Alex asked.
Jaspef thought for a while and he smirked. "That can't be, a weakling can never by my cure".
Alex thought for some minutes and he said. "How about you don't tell her your real identity? you should pretend to be human also, you can make her fall in love with you just like the human ways".
"Don't you think that would take a lot of time and effort? beside she doesn't wanna stay here". Jaspef said frustratedly.
"Well, you can promise to take her home yourself once you're done with what you're doing". Alex suggested.
"Would she's believe me?".
Alex couldn't believe Jaspef was asking him such questions, he'd always known him as a man of wisdom and intelligent but now he seemed kinda different.
"She would believe you, but it depends on how convincing you are". Alex stated.
"I think I know what to do". He said and he left.
"Don't be too hard on her, remember she's human". Alex yelled after him.
"Go get your mate, so Diane can me mine". Alex smirked.

Crystalline stood pacing around, she's really hungry, since last night she haven't eaten.
"Ouch!". She held her stomach when she felt a slight pain.
Her stomach grumbled making funny sounds, she yawn feeling extremely hungry.
"Is he going to starve me to death?". She thought.
Suddenly the door opened and two ladies walked into the room with a tray of food on their hands, they went to the neatly arrange dinning table at the side of the room, and they placed the food on it.
They smiled her at, bowed and left.
"Just what I needed". She said and she rushed to the dinning table. She sat down and she stared at the food. It's rice, veggies, beef and roasted chicken, though it's a weird combination, she had no choice. She took the spoon and she digged in, eating the food. She ate as fast as she could, she totally forgot her table manners etiquette while eating.
She was really hungry and acting rich wasn't in her dictionary for now.
She was still eating when Jaspef walked in.
The minute he walked in, she almost chocked, because she was kinda ashamed he saw her eating glutinously.
"Why should I be ashamed? He's nothing to me anyway". She thought.
He surprised to see her eating in such way, he went to her and he sat in front of her.
"Do you want more?". He asked and she stared at the huge pile of foods and he immediately understood.
He stared at her as she ate hurriedly without minding his presence.
"Please what's your name?". He asked.
She stared at him and she drank a cup of water. "The only way I can get out of here quickly, is to cooperate with this moron". She thought inwardly.
"Crystalline, my name is Crystalline". She said.
He smiled when he heard her name, it's so unique and ethereal, he haven't heard such nice name in his lifetime.
"Don't you think your name is kinda long". He said and she almost rolled her eyes, but she cautioned herself. "Remember be nice".
"How about Crystal? I'll call you Crystal". He smiled.
"It's Crystalline".
"Nope, Crystal".
"I said it's Crystalline". She half yelled.
"It's my mouth, so I'll call you whatever I want to". He retorted and she sighed angrily.
"What's your name?". She asked.
"I won't tell you". He laughed.
"Oh you won't? I hate you". She said and that was enough to ruined his mood.
His mate just said she hated him, it's really heartbreaking, even if she doesn't know anything about vampire, it still hurts.
"My name is Jaspef". He said and she could notice the sadness in his voice. "Wasn't he playful awhile ago?". She thought.
She stared at him and she caught a glimpse of his emerald coloured eyes, his eyes were really smallish, behind his beautiful eyes, they were trace of sadness in it.
"Are you okay?". She found herself asking.
"Did I just said that?". She thought.
"I'm fine". He simply replied.
He stood up and he went to his wardrobe and he brought out a big T shirts and baggy joggers.
He placed it in the bed and he said. " When you're done eating, you should freshen up". He said pointing out to the bathroom.
"I didn't have the time to buy you clothes, please you can wear mine for now, don't bother about the plates, the maids would take care of it. He added and she found herself agreeing to what he said.
"Well, umm.. Good night then". He said.
"Good night". She replied akwardly and he left.
The minute he left, she stared at the door and she sighed.
"Crystalline what's wrong with you? don't tell me that this Jaspef guy has an effect on you, oh no!, this can't be". She mentally thought.
"I really need to cool off". She said and she rushed into the bathroom.

AT NIGHT: MEETING HALL.

Drake sat in the mist of elders, he cleared his throat and her said. "Sorry for holding this meeting without informing you earlier".
"What's the reason for this gathering?". Elder Luxander asked.
The outspoken one as always.
"I've thought about the recent attack from the vampires, and I've made a decision...". He paused and the elders stared curiously.
"I've decided to hold a peace conference, so we can iron out things with them, we should be able to know the reason behind their actions before taking a final decision". He explained.
"Hmph, don't you think that's a waste of time? we should just attack them instead". Mendoza suggested.
"Things like this shouldn't be your concern, your top priority should be your mate, stuff like this should be handled by us". Elder Luxander said.
"I told you, didn't I? they won't agree with my decision". He mind-linked his wolf.
*Don't be silly, you're the next Alpha in line, just because we haven't found our mate doesn't give them the right to down grade us, though I kinda support what Luxander said but I don't like to be belittled, so pretty face, do the needful*
What Hedes said seemed to ring a bell in his head.
"My decision is final and you all must obey". He growled and surprisedly the elders nodded.
"Since you've made your decision there's nothing we can do". Mendoza stated.
"Tonight I'll write the letter myself, and I'll send the messenger to deliver the message to them, the earlier the better, the meeting would hold tommorow evening".
"What if they don't comply?". Elder Luxander asked.
"What if they don't really comply?". He thought.
*Don't be silly, they won't". Hedes interfered.
"You shouldn't worry about that". He stated.
"Okay, I guess the meeting is over". Mendoza asked.
"Yes, you may leave". He said and they left.
"I hope this work out fine".
