AMELIA'S POV
I saw how Tina's face changed. I don't know why but I don't feel comfortable towards her.
It feels like she has something which I don't like and it's not good.
"ooohhhh" Gione teased. When I looked at her, she giggled.
"you suits each other" Lorna commented.
Philip on the other hand continued putting the drinks on the table. I helped him with it and noticed that I also have a cup.
He made me one as well?
I gently put back the cup on the tray but he put it back on my front.
"it's yours" he whispered.
"butterflies" Rose squinted. When we looked at him, she's looking at us — me and Philip.
How long has she been looking at us?
"guys, that's so sweet of him" he giggled. I just watched her. Philip on the other hand just stood there as well.
"what? what? I didn't noticed" Gione asked as if she's so excited.
"The guy was putting the cups on front of each other and when he put one infront of Amelia, Amelia put it back on the tray but he put it back on the table and whispered 'its yours' " Rose told them. She even mimicked the tone of Philip's voice.
I looked at Philip and he just shrugged.
"I'll get going, I'll excuse myself" Philip excused himself and get back to the kitchen.
The girls watched him walk and Gione is still giggling. I looked at Rose, she had been watching the two of us for a very long time?
"so, how did the two of you met?" Gione asked.
I was very taken aback.
"uhm, for the record he's not m boyfriend as in lover. He's my boyfriend as in guy friend" I cleared things out.
Weird, as I say those words, the smile on Tina's face came back.
I saw Gione frowned along with Rose.
"these two, stop it already, huh" Lorna pointed out and hit both Gione and Rose.
"so, what we we're saying was we would want to take you to paint us" Lorna explained.
I just nodded and told them about the rates and the sizes of the canvas.
After that, we have come up with a deal which all of us have dealt with.
They will come here two times a week so I can paint their very big canvas. Since the subject is them and they don't have pictures to supposedly serve as my reference, they said that they'll just go here from time to time.
It's actually a very bug canvas. It's 60x45
It won't be easy but the pay is actually so good so let's do this!
"the coffee needs a little more sugar" Gione whispered at me before leaving. I just giggled, she's this very playful and lively girl.
"don't mind what she whispered to you. It's probably some weird stuffs" Lorna whispered as well.
I giggled. I watched them walk away while they're hand-in-hand. They're actually so cute.
After that, I go back to my shop and when I did, I already saw Philip cleaning the table where we left our coffee cups.
Gione and Lorna have finished their coffee. Rose almost emptied it while Tina just had a sip of it.
"you already cleaned the whole kitchen. Let me do this" I said and took with him the tray which he's holding.
"no, let me do it" as he has much more strength than me, he successfully took it very easily.
He walked inside the kitchen and washed the dishes.
I sighed. He must be so tired today, he has been cleaning the whole time.
From his back, I tapped his shoulders.
"Lia" he just called. Knowing that it's me who tapped his shoulders.
"I'll do that, okay?" I suggested. He shook his head.
"come on, I'll be very mad if you won't let me do it" I threatened him.
"no, just rest" he said firmly.
"but it's not me who needs to rest, it's you. You had been cleaning the whole day. Let me do this, can't you?" I asked.
"no, Lia. Just rest. I can do this, I'm almost finished" he answered without looking at me.
I stood next to him and took over the kitchen sink. I also took the sponge on his hand.
"come on, just rest, hmm?" he said and tried to take the sponge in my hand.
I looked at him and pouted. "I can do this, hmm?" I said, copying his hmm?
He looks tired. I can see from his face that he's tired.
He just sighed and didn't fought with me anymore.
"are you sure?" he asked, I saw from my peripheral vision that he took a seat on my dining table.
I just looked back to face him and gave him a thumbs up.
When I looked at him, he looks so tired.
"are you okay?" I asked.
He just gave me a weak smile and leaned on the chair. He didn't gave me any answers so I faced the kitchen sink again and continued with what I was doing.
After doing the dishes, I placed them aside so that I could wipe them later and put them where they should be placed.
I wiped my wet hands and stood next to Philip.
He's sleeping.
Is he that tired?
I glanced at him and his sleeping position right now makes me tired as well. It must be so uncomfortable but he still managed to sleep.
I tried touching him since I need to tilt his head in order for him to sleep in a much more not difficult position.
But then, at my shock, his body temperature is so hot. He has a fever.
I checked mine and checked his as well. He is so hot.
I immediately took a cold water and a towel to give him a cold compress.
"Lia?" I heared him called. I stood up and walked infront of him immediately.
"you have a fever. Why didn't you told me sooner?" I scolded him but he just held my hand and pulled me closer to him.
"I'm fine" he said weakly and placed my hand on his cheeks and he tilted his head and closed his hands.
"you're not fine" I answered.
After a minute, he stood up. He can't even stand up properly, I even helped him.
"I'll get going" he said.
"let me take you home" I said and walked with him but he stopped me. He held both of my shoulders and looked me in the eye.
"I can handle" he said.
I just pouted.
"no, you can't" I insisted and walked with him again but he won't let me.
He left all by himself, I plan to take him home even just walk with him that's why I left the house as well the moment that he left but he have walked so fast in a way that I couldn't see him already
