"Ummm..."
Cassie furrowed her eyebrows. "Is it bad?" She said and was about to check the mirror but Kash blocked her path.
"Cassie?" He came closer to her and held her head up.
"Yes." She answered, looking at his lips.
"You look beautiful but do you know you're more beautiful without makeup?" He asked, playing with a strand of hair that danced around her face.
"You think so?" She asked, obviously not believing him.
"I know so. I love you even without your makeup on, so stop trying to impress me. I'm always proud of you." He placed a light kiss on her forehead.
Cassie smiled. "I'll go wash my face then." She ran into the bathroom and washed her face, wiped it with a towel and came out to meet Kash.
"Now, that's more like it." He smiled and she giggled.
Kash went to her wardrobe and brought out a white crop top and short skirt. "I want you to wear this one." He gave it to her.
Cassie collected it with a confused expression on her face. This was the exact cloth she wore that day and he got angry with her. Why was he giving it to her now?
"But, you asked me not to wear things like this. The day I wore it to school, you got angry with me," She said.
"Do you wanna know why I was angry that day?" He asked and she nodded. "Because I hated the way the guys stared at you. I was so angry that I didn't tell you how hot you looked in that outfit. I want you to wear it now because you're my woman and no one can take you away from me." Kash smiled.
"Really?" Cassie beamed.
"Yeah. I'll leave now so you can change." He said.
"No, don't leave." She said.
"But, you have to..." His cheeks suddenly turned red and Cassie laughed.
"Don't get naughty thoughts, guardian. I just wanted to try the power I've been practicing." She chuckled.
"And that is?" He asked.
"I'll show you." She closed her eyes and exhaled. She opened them, snapped her fingers and the clothes disappeared, then appeared on her body while the one she wore before appeared on the bed.
Kash gasped. "How did you_"
"Tada!" She exclaimed, laughing.
"That was amazing. You've really mastered your powers. I'm so proud of you." He hugged her.
"Thanks for believing in me. I finally mastered everything." She smiked.
Kash was so happy. This meant that she was ready to become the ruler of Athens. His father had always told him that whenever the person he was guarding used the powers of the elders—putting their clothes on with their minds—it meant that they have mastered their powers and are ready for whatever assignments awaited them.
"You did great. Just wait till when you turn 18, you'll be able to visit Athens." He announced.
"Really!" She exclaimed.
"Yeah." He smiled and she hugged him again. She arranged her hair and he helped her carry her bag till they got to school.

THE LIBRARY OF MAGIC
"She's ready!" Zaire exclaimed as the book glowed. "Cassie is full of surprises! How did she do that?" Zaire shouted.
Aunt Maggie appeared. "I came here as soon as I saw your signal. What's the emergency?" She asked.
"Emergency?" He arched his brows.
"Yes. You sent me the red signal, which means Danger." She rolled her eyes.
"Oh, sorry. I was so excited that I sent the wrong light. I was meaning to send the white one which signifies goodnews." He giggled.
"I'll try to forgive you. What's up?" She asked.
"Cassie just used the powers of the elders." Zaire announced.
"Are you trying to say that she wore her clothes with her mind?" Aunt Maggie asked.
"Uh-huh. Come take a look." He shifted and Aunt Maggie glanced at the glowing book.
"Oh my gosh! That was so fast!" Aunt Maggie exclaimed.
"I know, right? I was shocked to the bones. Also, she and Kash are now dating." He announced.
"What! She likes him?" Aunt Maggie gasped.
"He is her destined mate. What else do you think would happen? She doesn't love Asher anymore. I think she was only crushing on him and now that she met Kash, it has faded." Zaire explained.
Aunt Maggie couldn't contain the news. Her baby girl was now ready. All they needed to do now was to wait until she clocked 18 years, so she could go to Athens.
"I'm so happy, Zaire!" She exclaimed.
"I'm happy too. I can't wait to see them kiss." Zaire said and Aunt Maggie smacked the back of his head.
"How can you say that so casually?" She asked.
"What?" He asked.
"Don't talk about their first kiss like that. It needs to be a special one." Aunt Maggie smiled.
Zaire rolled his eyes.
"Well, time for me to leave. I don't need to inform them at the realm because of the mole in the kingdom." She said.
"They haven't caught the person yet?" He asked.
"Nope." She shook her head and disappeared.
Zaire flipped the pages of the book to where the person made Cassie to pass out but no matter how he tried, he couldn't remember where he had seen the person. If the book had showed the face, it would have been easier.

THE REALM OF PURE MAGIC
The ocean flowed peacefully but in a different way this time. The maids, who worked beside the ocean saw beautiful pearls appearing and surrounding the river.
"What's happening?" One of them asked.
"I don't know. Should we tell the king and queen?" Another asked.
"No. These are beautiful pearls for goodness sake. If we gather them, we could become rich and quit working as maids. Just look at how beautiful they are. Let's gather them and tell no one about it." The first maid said.
"That's wrong. It's better we tell them, so they can give it to us by themselves."
The maid hissed. "The king and queen are rich enough. The ocean decided to bless us today with these and you want to blow it? If you aren't interested, I'll take them by myself." She stood up and walked towards the shore.
"Come back! No one is allowed to go there!" A maid asked.
"Shut up! I'm trying to become rich here." She shouted and walked into the water. Immediately she touched the pearl, it sucked her in and she got trapped.
The other maids gasped and ran into the palace.
"My king, my queen!" They fell down.
The king and queen, who were having a meeting with Medusa and the royal advisers stood up.
"What happened?" They asked at once.
"The ocean!" Medusa said and they all disappeared, reappearing there.
"Wow!" They exclaimed as they saw the pearls sparkle in the sunlight.
"Where did they come from?" Queen Roanna asked.
"We were cleaning alongside here when the pearls started appearing in the water. Anna insisted we gather it but we refused, so she went to pick it herself but the pearl sucked her in and now she's trapped in the pearl." The maid wept.
"She's going to be trapped there until Princess Cassandra returns to Athens. She should stay there and learn how to curb her greedy nature." Medusa replied and they sighed.
"But what do they mean?" Roxy asked, pointing at the pearls.
"Goodnews. The princess is ready!" Medusa announced.
"Are you serious?" Everybody gasped.
"Have I joked before?" She asked them.
"How?" King Harven asked.
"When she finally accepted her mate, her powers were fully unlocked. She loves Kash and that love they shared is what has strengthened her the more. She unlocked the powers of the elders." Medusa said.
They all gasped.
"But, only princess Xena, who died in the ocean with Amon has that power." Roxy said.
"Exactly. Don't you know our heiress is half Irish and half demon?" She asked rhetorically as she studied their expression. They were shocked just as she expected. "Princess Cassandra has the blood and powers of Amon and Xena running through her veins."
"But, we are her parents. Our blood should be running through her veins and not the other way round." Queen Roanna pouted.
"You're her parents but she doesn't have your blood. Amon and Xena made her before they died. They brought her into this world through the two of you," Medusa pointed at them. "Now, get ready, because as soon as the heiress turns 18 in the human world, she is coming to Athens." With that said, Medusa disappeared.
"Wow! This is tremendous!" Roxy exclaimed. "I can't wait for Cassie to come!" She beamed.
Samuel, the second royal adviser glared at her and rolled his eyes.
Queen Roanna hugged her husband. It won't be long now, they'll be able to see their daughter.

EARTH*
When they arrived at school, Sapphire looked around the school compound in awe of it's massiveness.
"This place is huge!" Layla exclaimed.
"Yeah. Just try to blend in and everything would be fine." Diego said.
"Sure!" Sapphire smiled and walked into the hallways. Immediately she entered, all eyes landed on her. A guy even fainted.
"Oh my gosh! Where are angels coming from and enrolling into our school this year?"
"Look at her hair!"
"She's a hottie!"
"Look at that shape!"
"Marry me!"
"She looks a lot like Kash. Is she his sister?"
"I believe you. She is definitely his sister. Have you seen that dude?"
Just as they were talking, Kash entered with Cassie and the screams got louder.
"It seems Sapphire has become a celebrity already." Kash chuckled when he saw students gathering her for pictures and autographs. Others were asking her out.
Cassie chuckled. "Yeah," Cassie frowned when she saw girls drooling over Kash. Since he was wearing a hoodie, she took the cap, stood on her tippy toes and wore it for him.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Girls are drooling over you too much. I want to hide your face from them. Gosh! Why are you so handsome?" She lamented, looking around.
Kash laughed.
'It's because I'm not human.' He said in his thoughts and Cassie heard him.
"They don't know that you're not human, Kash." She replied and Kash gasped.
"I didn't say that out. You heard my thoughts!" Kash exclaimed.
"I did?" She was confused.
"Okay. Alright, tell me whatever you hear." Kash closed his mouth and thought about how cool rainy days are.
"You're happy about how cool rainy days are," She paused when she realized that she could actually hear his thoughts; she could picture everything he thought of. It was like a dream come true for her. "Oh my gosh!" She hugged him.
The students started cheering. The jealous ones started murmuring.
"Are they dating now?"
"Why must it be her?"
Sapphire saw Asher and pushed through the crowd to go see him.
"Hi, good morning. Did you sleep well?" She asked, smiling.
"Yeah." He answered, using his eyes to search for Cassie.
"I'm sure you remember me, right. We met at Cassie's place the other time. I didn't get to introduce myself to you. I'm Sapphire, Kash's sister." She said.
"Okay." He answered nonchalantly. When he saw Cassie, his gaze turned cold because she was hugging Kash. He frowned and left.
Sapphire pouted. "Why is he being cocky when I'm only trying to be nice?" She huffed and went to meet Diego.

Asher barged into his father's office and saw a lady with him.
"Asher, thank God you're here." Rrayner stood up.
"Who is she?" Asher asked, looking at the lady, who gave him seductive looks in return.
"Who she is doesn't matter now. What matters is that you have to mark Cassie before Kash does." Rayner said.
"Why would Kash want to mark Cassie?" Asher asked in a confused tone.
"Because Kash is Cassie's mate!"
