"Alright then. We'll be coming to the precinct now. Bye" Scott said and ended the call. Detective Mike has been a good friend for a long time and he trusted he could handle this case. This guy after Laura was crazy to think that he would go scot-free after everything. No cops? What did he think this was, the 1900s? Well he wasn't gonna go ahead and involve cops full on but they definitely would be involved and that was why he had contacted his friend. They would do it silently. They would do it in a better way whereby they would all be safe. Lola, Trixie and Laura. He walked out of the dining to inform Laura of the outcome of the conversation with his good friend at the police department but he met an empty sitting room.
"Laura" he called out but got no response. He walked around for a while searching for her before he saw the paper on the table. He picked it up and it read :
I need to take care of this Scott. It's my mess and I'll handle it. I'm sorry I dragged you all into this. No matter what happens tell Trixie and Lola I love them. Bye.
Scott squeezed the paper and his hand and threw it across the room. He wanted to yell but he stopped himself from doing that. Instead he settled on the couch slowly.
"God please I need your help. Laura doesn't deserve this. None of them do. Please tell me what to do. Please" he prayed. He sat still for a while but he felt nothing, heard nothing.
"Please God". He knelt down. "Laura doesn't deserve to die. She just found you. Help me find a way to save them all". He had tears in his eyes.
He kept on praying for a while until he heard God speak to him in his heart. He cried out for joy.
"Thank you Lord. Thank you so much" he mouthed.
He stood up quickly and called Mike.
"Hey. Change of plans. She left and I don't have the address. Can you please find a way to track her phone or something?"
"Uh.....I could loose my job if I'm caught doing that without permission from the lieutenant".
"Please...." Scott begged.
"Um...what will you be doing?"
"I need to find help"
"I'm help"
"I need all the help I can get". He replied. He hung up the phone and went straight for Peter.

Peter sat on his leather cushion sipping his drink and seeing a movie. Frankly his mind wasn't even In the movie. His mind was somewhere else. Scott had taken another girl from him but didn't feel too angry. At least he wasn't as angry as he had been when it was Kristen. Maybe he didn't love Laura enough. He doubted that. Maybe he had learnt to be mature and move on. The little girl Scott has is a blessing to him. She was lovely and wonderful. He had always thought Scott hated him but the little girl now made him think otherwise. He had forgiven Scott although he didn't know how it would be if they met. Would it be awkward? He didn't know. The hadn't talked in a while. A knock on his door brought him back to reality. He went to get the door and as he opened the door someone rushed in.
"Scott" He said very shocked.
"I need your help man" Scott said in a rush. He looked like a crazy person.
"Yeah?"
"Did Suze tell you about her past?" He was still panting.
"Yeah. She did"
"Everything?"
"I believe so. Even her real name"
Scott sighed in relief. "Phew. Thank God I don't have to explain everything. Don found her".
"Who's Don?" Peter asked confused.
"I thought you said she told you".
"Yeah. She didn't call any names".
"Don's her mum's boyfriend and he found her". Peter's eyes widened in realization.
"What. How? When?"
"No time to go into details. He has Lola and Trixie".
"What!"
"Laura went off to him so he would release them. She's in danger. I fear he's going to kill her".
"Oh no no no. You don't have to say you fear. He definitely is going to kill her".
"Mike texted the address of where she went to me. I need you to come with me. I can't do this alone".
"You got it man" Peter took his jacket and they both rushed out.

Laura arrived at the address Don had texted her. An abandoned building stood in front of her. She was scared but she kept telling herself this was the only way. She walked into the building. There were so many rooms in the building but she kept walking into all of them to find out where they were hiding. She didn't see any sign of them in the rooms she searched but just when she was about to give up and call Don she walked into a room and saw Lola and Trixie. They were both tied and gagged. Her heart constricted in her chest the moment she laid eyes on them. She rushed to them.
"Oh thank God" she said. Lola looked up at her. Trixie looked like she was asleep.
"I'll get you out of here I promise" Laura whispered. As she searched for ways to untie them Lola started shaking as if calling her attention. She heard a clap behind her and she turned around slowly. Don was in the room and he had his boys with him. First note Laura took, Dave wasn't with them.
"Well well well...who do we have here?" He asked smirking. "You came pretty quickly Laura and I must say I didn't know you would get on with the no cops idea. I was itching to kill one of these ones here". He told her.
"I'm here now let them go" she said.
"Awww now what would be the fun in doing that baby?"
Her heart dropped.
"You promised" she cried out.
"Oh c'mon now I won't kill them. I'll just have a little fun of my own". He gave his boys a sign and they rushed to hold her.
"You little...." She screamed as she struggled to get out of their hold.
"You don't want to do that. You don't want to call me names. You of all people should know the consequences of doing that".
"I'm not afraid of you". She challenged.
"But they are" he returned.
God no.
"This is a little girl Don....how could you treat her like this?" Tears formed in her eyes.
"Because I don't care about any shit person. Child or no child, humans are humans to me".
"You're a monster" she cried out. He laughed out.
"I know dear".
"And in all this madness where's Diane? Don't tell me she couldn't bear to watch while you have your way".
"Well she couldn't bear darling and that led her to where she is now"
Laura swallowed. "And where's that?". The look on Don's face told her what she needed to know.
"She's dead" he said anyway. "She knew I had found you out and she wanted to betray me. She wanted to warn you so I killed her" he continued.
Laura looked down. She couldn't let him see the tears in her eyes.
"She did love you....you never knew that. Everything she let me do to you was for your survival. Guess you can't say 'Thank you for trying mother' now because she's dead. Too bad, I actually liked her. Maybe I loved her...I can't say for sure because I don't love anyone but myself and I like it that way".
"Let my friends go" she said.
"Hmm. Fierce one aren't you. You don't change. Well I'm going to get the pleasure of making you suffer so I guess....boys take them away".
His boys picked Lola and Trixie up and led them away.
"What are you going to do to them?" She yelled.
"Not your business" he barked and walked out after his boys.
Laura bent her head and wept.

"Daddy" Trixie yelled as she rushed to hug Scott. Scott lifted her up and held her tight.
"Oh God. Thank you God. Did he hurt you?" He asked her. She shook her head. Peter stood aside watching.
"Scott he's got Laura. He's going to kill her". Lola told him.
"I know. I'll be going in as soon as Mike gets here" he replied.
"Who's Mike?" Lola asked.
"A friend. He's a cop actually". Lola nodded. "Did he just let you go like that? No arguments?" He asked.
"Oh there was lots of argument. The last thing I heard him say to her was 'I'm going to get the pleasure of making you suffer'. The ordered for us to be taken away. I thought he was going to kill us or torture us but he let us go".
"He's just out for Laura and no one else".
"We need to know when to go in". Peter chipped in. Suddenly they heard the sound of footsteps coming towards them.
"Stay behind me" Scott told Lola and Trixie. A guy walked up to them with a gun and Peter took out his gun from his jacket.
"I'm on your side" the guy said. He dropped his gun on the ground.
"Who are you?". Scott asked.
"My name's Dave. A friend of Laura" the guy replied.
"Who?" Peter asked.
"Laura told me about him. She said he's a good guy". Scott explained.
"Huh...I feel like I'm left out".
"Sorry man"
"Look he's going to kill her. He killed Diane". Scott's eyes widened. Peter looked confused.
"Her mother" Scott offered.
"Jesus" Peter said.
"Don't worry Dave we'll get her. Lola you're gonna get into my car and leave with Trixie. I'll go in for Laura and Peter will have my back. He'll take care of the boys". Scott told them. Lola nodded.
"It'll be dangerous Scott. This guy's dangerous" Lola said.
"Don't worry about us Lola. Just take Trixie home. As soon as Mike gets here we'll set to work".
"I'll go with you guys" Dave said. Scott shook his head.
"You don't have to. It's too dangerous" Scott warned. "Besides Mike is going in with Peter".
"I know where the guys are. I know how to take them down. Let me go with you guys. I want to do this for Laura". Dave insisted.
"Ok fine. You're in".
Just then Mike walked up to them.
"Ok boys it's time to save your girlfriend. Let's go in" he ordered.
