Chapter 47.
The sun slowly sets for the north as Hope and his gang sets for the hunters academy.
They were all galloping on their horses with Ino lucky leading the way.
‘ what are we going to tell Elvis ’, Ino said while staring at Hope.
He tilts his head down.
‘ no, we are both going to take care of the demon king ’.
‘ like for real ’.
‘ yes, I can not let him know instead am gonna make him pay dearly with his life cause am not ready to let him know ’.
‘ why ’.
‘ cause his gonna trying to take the entire team there and that is going to be a risky plan, I don't wanna loss another team this time, I rather play it safe than to let it waste ’.
He looks at him.
‘ I wish you good luck ’.
They all walked into another town on their horses.
At the hunter's academy.
Elvis was looking disturbed as Alvin and himself were having an important conversation concerning the demon king.
‘ we don't have any choice but to just walk into the town and kill everyone including the citizens ’, Elvis said.
He rose up his eyebrows in surprise.
‘ no, we can not do that, that is a crime against humanity ’, Alvin said.
‘ then how do we handle this situation ’, in a serious tone.
He rubs his jaw.
‘ we play it safe and one more thing, don't tell Hope about it, he is gonna go crazy if he knows about this, remember he left here without our permission, you know he is supposed to be punished ’, Elvis said while glimpsing at the window.
‘ I know about it but we just need to be cool about it ’, Alvin replied.
While at Angela's room, she was looking from her window when she sights Hope and his gang approaching, she dashed through her door and ran up to the both of them, hugging all of them including Alon who was still trying to come down from his horse.
‘ where have you been ’, she placed her arms on Hope's shoulder.
He feels a weird feeling and tries to hide it in.
He slowly removes her arms from his shoulder by shaking her off.
‘ I was out to go see someone nothing serious ’, he replied her.
‘ where is Alvin and Elvis, hope they are all doing well, I don't wanna get worried about them that's why am asking ’.
‘ they are doing good dude ’Angela said.
Few minutes later that day.
Elvis walks into Hope's room as he was about to sleep.
‘ oh, am sorry if I disturbed you ’, Elvis said.
He looks at him and nods his head.
‘ no don't worry yourself, is nothing serious, why are you here just tell me before I fall back asleep ’, Hope said.
‘ just wanted to check on you that's all and nothing else or is there something you wanna tell me ’, he looks at him with a suspicious look.
Hope noticed and decided to change his motive, ‘ no, not at all and if you will please leave my room I will want to sleep ’, he said on a low tone.
Elvis stares at him and slowly walks away from him and locks the door behind him as he slowly walks out on him.
The following morning.
Some students were all prepared to leave the academy by Elvis command but were still busy welcoming some new comers to the academy with a smile on their faces.
‘ welcome, welcome you all ’, in a low tone accompanied with a smile on their faces.
They were looking young and fresh with each one of them hugging and embracing their loved ones before they leave for the academy.
Elvis looks at the young ones and sheds a sad look on his face, knowing that it isn't all of them that might make it back alive to their loved ones.
He looks away from them with a disappointed look on his face as he walks into his office with a handkerchief on his hands.
Ino noticed it and also looks worried about their new recruitment.
‘ all this young blood have a purpose for been in here, it's either for someone that they love or for vengeance, I can't just let them all to die like animals, I need to do something about this, I need to stop them from doing the worst mistake of their lives ’, he was about making a speech when he overhead what one of them said.
“ am here to kill those demons that have damage my land and kill the people that I love, I would not be leaving here alive that I know but it's better to fall down trying than not to even try at all ”.
He looks at him and nods his head as his words really pierced through his heart, making him to rethink his decision on them but as he looks at their faces, he rather let him try than for him not to try at all.
Hope was just busy staring at the number of students entering the academy, they were more than ten with each one of them coming in with a loved one.
He then remembered Gwen his sister who was cursed by those bastards, thinking about it only pissed him off the more, he rather forget about it than to think about it, his only sister whom he loved is now a cursed beast tasting for blood.
‘ tch ’, he expressed while huffing heavily as he sights them entering like water flow from a tap.
‘ fuck ’.
They all settled in with Elvis giving them a welcoming speech.
Hope claps hearing his speech with Angela sharing out gifts to the students in the academy.
‘ what do you think about the fresh meats ’, Ino said while staring at them.
Hope looks at him and flashes a smile on his face.
‘ I think that they are all looking good and are not really ready for this academy, I think they should better rethink it but knowing why they are here, I rather stand here with them and support them all the way ’, Hope replied.
He pats him on the shoulder and he rose up on his feet, ‘ this life is full of lessons, it's up to us to decide on what we wanna learn or better still, how we wanna live our lives, it's their choice it's not ours, the only thing we can offer for now is to support them and mourn the one we have lost during this great curse of our life ’, Ino said
He stretches his palm for him.
‘ so what do you say we do huh, leave them here or we should support them like brothers and sisters we are to them ’, Ino said.
Hope shakes him and stood up on his feet.
‘ I will rather support them than to let them suffer a sin they know nothing about ’, Hope said with a smirk on his face.
The following morning.
“ gallops ”, horses dashed through the elephant grasses with the hunters going for another adventure.
Hope was dressed as an assassin with two unsheathe swords on his back while Ino as usual was dressed like a wolf hunter.
Few minutes later they arrived at an unknown destination with the hunters looking from a cliff hanging edge.
‘ so what do we do about that, we can not just walk in like that ’, Alvin said.
Elvis In question was just busy glancing at the beautiful landscape with the cold breeze blazing through his face.
‘ we march in by morning ’
