Luna placed Kayla gently on the bed in her room, her body was getting stiff and cold.
" Kayla! " he called out with a teary face removing the strands of hair on her face, she was dead already and he knows that.
" Please don't leave now, you have a strong spirit and I know we will surely overcome this together. Please stay back with me kayla, you're like half of my soul. It shatters me to see you laying lifeless." His tears dropped on her body as he halted in his speech.
He caressed her cheeks and gulping so hard, he suddenly remembered something.
#Flashback#
" You know a lot , so sad you were captured " little luna said to the woman sitting beside him. From her looks, one could easily detect that she is an old woman who had lived for years.
" Yes I do ! It's one of the gift I had as a supernatural" she stated simply and silence ensued.
" Let me tell you a secret " the old woman broke the silence between them.
Luna listened with keen interest, he loves gaining new knowledge at despite how little he was.
" Do you know that you can bring back a person to life with blood" Luna looked at her with a confused expression urging her to explain further .
"Yes you can but that's possible between a male and a female who are deeply drowned in love . It works in the supernatural realm.Let me use for an instance, if the female gives up the ghost due to maybe physical attacks, the blood of her lover must mix with hers to make her come back to life "
Luna folded his arms in astonishment marvelled by her intelligence and brilliancy. She knows a lot more than he do.
" Wow ! That's intriguing, I really wish to be like you " the old woman chuckled at the little boy words.
" Do not forget what I just told you because, it would be very useful to you in the future. Now go to be before lord Dantalion sees us together" she patted his head lovingly and little Luna obeyed her by leaving immediately.

He still remembered all and made sure he stored every single words in his memory, that was many years ago when lord Dantalion succeeded in destroying the demon's clan.
He was stolen from his mother to become Lord Dantalion most treasured weapon.
He would never forget the old woman who taught him a lot secrets before she was later killed. She was one of the captives of Lord Dantalion from his enemies.
The old woman refuses to tell Luna her name and whenever he asks, she would say.
" Call me that which suites me " so he resulted to calling her old woman.
Luna sighed hoping that little secret would be of help in bringing back kayla.
He cut his index finger with a sharp object and a slight groan escaped from his lips.
Blood forced its way out from the affected area, he pulled up her gown revealing the big sore on her laps . He allowed a drop his blood penetrate into where she was injured such that the blood spread into the inner part of her body .
Luna closed his eyes and prayed she wakes up, he was about giving up when he hard a slight cough.
He isn't deaf right? That cough came from kayla, he fixed his gaze on her and kayla flinched hereyes open all of a sudden.
Luna joy knew no bounds, it worked! The old woman's knowledge had helped bring his woman back to life.
" It worked" he squealed like a little child proceeding to help kayla sit upright, he sat beside her too, he hugged her passionately.
Kayla was shocked , like seriously she came back to life, how did he do it. Few Minutes ago, she felt life leaving her so how did she...
" I thought I would lose you Kayla ! You're all I got I can't afford loosing you , please stay strong " he caressed her hair softly after disengaging from the hug .
" What happened Luna? I thought I was dead , I thought I won't see you anymore , I was so so scared"
Luna smiled at her staring at her beautiful face , he took in her lips and kissed her passionately.
Seems he is obsessed with her lips...
" Don't worry about how you came back but always trust your man , nothing would ever happen to you . I will always protect you till the last drop of my blood even if it cost my life. No matter the circumstances or situation, I would always stand by you " Luna said after breaking the kiss.
Kayla stared at him in admiration, all thanks to him , he has been her saviour and she never regretted falling for him and she would never regret.
Lord Dantalion balled his fist in anger as he watched them both standing at the door side , they never noticed him cause he made himself invisible.
" You will regret going against my orders. Why do I feel like you would be betray me someday?" lord Dantalion thought angrily.
Actually, he suspected Luna going to save Rihanna after lying to him that he was heading to the preparation ground to join other guards and now his instincts were confirmed. How dare he?
He also checked the preparation ground but he was no where to be found. What annoyed him the most was him bringing Rihanna back to life.
" He knows a lot and with his pint of knowledge, he thinks he can go against my orders" Lord Dantalion asked silently as he watched them both engrossed in their love expression. He still wondered while he never felt that they were together or has the mark stopped working cause he can't seems to place what's going on. He would ask Arnolden, Bathsheba and Ichabod when next they meet . It's so strange, something must be hindering it , definitely something! And he must find out
" I will teach him an unforgettable lesson and I would lessen my trust for him " lord Dantalion said dissapearing into the thin air. The duo were unaware of his presence due to his invisibility.
" Luna ! I can't wait any longer, nothing is ever stopping our escape this night , I can't stand any minute with this beast , I had suffered a lot . " Luna gave her a long look.
" You know that's impossible... Like I mean how would you walk with your injured laps " Luna questioned and kayla forced a smile .
" No obstacle will stop us from carrying out our plans tonight"
She sounded serious and doesn't look like someone that would heed to whatsoever you tell her.
" Fine but kayla , your laps , it would be hard "
" We are escaping tonight and nothing is changing that ! Am scared of staying back , I don't want to be a demon or go back to who I was . I don't want lord Dantalion plans to be accomplished, please" she begged with pleading eyes and Luna sighed.
" Okay but first, let me treat your wounds" Luna said and kayla pulled up her gown , the sight sent cold shivers down her spine. She feels writhing pains anytime she tries moving it.
Luna firstly cleaned up the blood. He wished he has the healing powers, he would have used it on her.
He massaged the area making kayla wince in pain, it wasn't longer bleeding .
He got a massaging balm and also made use of it. He bandaged it at last and kayla felt very much better and the pain subsided.
" Thank you a lot, I don't know what would have happened if I never had you " kayla said resting her arms on his shoulder , Luna squatted all through the treatment .
" You would be fine I promise , just be prepared for this night okay , you got me ! " Luna assured.
" Are you sure we can do this"
"Yes we can "
Luna cupped her cheeks and kayla smiled again.
" I will be back to check on you , just relax okay " Luna said kissing her forehead and then heading out of the room..
Kayla sighed and believed everything would be fine .

Luna headed to the preparation ground ready for the worst from lord Dantalion. He knows he would find out soon but he doesn't give a damn. Despite his warnings that they should depart and stay away from each other, he still went ahead and saved her but that is never his business .
He pushed the door opened and he was right. He came in face with lord Dantalion , every other guards stopped to watch the scene.
Luna gulped so hard, it was written all over his face that the Demon found out already.
Lord Dantalion smiled devilishly moving around.
" Where are you coming from?" He thundered , Luna chosed to keep mute. Let him do his worst, he won't speak a word.
" Am talking to a human being not statue. " lord Dantalion reminded, his smile dissapeared immediately replacing his facial expression with anger.
Luna's muteness got him angrier that he used his supernaturals powers on him making him fall down with heavy thud. He controlled him with his three fingers and threw him on the wall , Luna's lips got bursted and his nose got broken. Looks like his face got affected the most.
Lord Dantalion brought him closer to himself making him fall forcefully on his knees in front of him. No one made a single move of made noise, everyone of them knows how brutal he can be once it turns out he is angry.
" How dare you go against my orders? how dare you disobey me? How dare you?" Lord Dantalion screamed making the earth shook vigorously.
Luna breathed so hard as he wiped the blood stains on his nose and mouth, he was right , lord Dantalion found out already.
He is ready to face any form of punishment but one thing is sure, lord Dantalion can never kill him because he is the most strongest and smartest guard.That is one fact he believes so lord Dantalion can do his worst.
