The bell kept ringing loudly indicating it was 12pm at night, the castle bell rings at exactly midnight .
Luna smiled and happiness beamed on his face, finally he found the key. At least,his lost his hope came back.
The key belonging to one of the rooms where kayla was locked.
Lord Dantalion actually locked her in up due to his negative sensations and kept the key in his room.
Luna thought it would be an hindrance to their revolution that night but fortunately and surprisingly, he sneaked in .
He actually saw everything, how lord Dantalion locked kayla up and where he kept the keys. as mentioned earlier, Luna was like a CCTV monitoring Kayla, he would make sure he monitors her and also protect her.
The reason for lord Dantalion actually of locking up kayla is beyond his knowledge and he don't care to know. What matters is that they are leaving now .
It's twelve already at midnight, it indicates that they are already in the morning.
He looked around carefully before sneaking out of Lord Dantalion's room closing it gently.
Just as he opened the door of the hallway, he came in face with Mona who was surprised to see him and Luna wasn't excluded.
"Luna ! What are you doing here?" Mona queried as her heart began beating in an irregular manner as usual.
" I came to check on Kayla as instructed by lord Dantalion " Luna lied hoping she probably buys that.
If she should go into Kayla's room and check to confirm his words , then he knows all will be blown on his face.
" Okay, I hope you're fine " Mona stuttered staring directly at him in the eyes.
Luna looked away immediately, her eyes are captivating, with those eyes, she make use of it in wiping a person's memory.
He held the key firmly, he is short of time, he musn't be caught by lord Dantalion. He is running out of time.
" Yes am fine, can I go now? " Luna asked hurriedly.
" Yes you can. " Mona said but that wasn't from her mind, she was just trying to get over him and also obey her brother but is that even possible. Her body is willing to do so but her heart isn't.
Luna left immediately but Mona's call stopped him.
" Luna! don't go yet. "
He looked at her immediately, must she always be a pain in the ass? She is endangering his life, if lord Dantalion meets him here, then he is doomed.
" Do you really mean those words you said?" She questioned and Luna nodded.
" Yes ! I meant every single word I said, am sorry, I just can't bring myself to love you. Can I go now?" without waiting for her reply, he left immediately.
" It hurts Luna! It fucking hurts , it won't end here , I promise" she yelled wishing he hears her. She was damn hurting inside of her.

Luna opened the door with the key and went in , he met kayla sleeping already. She had been locked in for hours, he knelt beside her as he shook her thereby waking her up in the process.
Kayla opened her eyes and startled a little bit, she became relieved when she found out it was Luna. She hugged him immediately.
" I don't know the reason why he locked me in! I thought you would go alone" Luna chuckled breaking from the hug.
" You know I can't ! We are leaving now kayla" Luna said and kayla forced a smile, a smile mixed with fear and anxiety.
" Do you think our escape would be successful?" Luna sighed and caressed her left hand.
" Everything would be fine okay ! Nothing would ever happen to the both of us , be strong alright? We both boldly took this decision and there is no way we are going back on our words " his words seems to wake up the bold kayla.
" Thank you so much Luna ! I don't know what I would have done without you, I love you so much " Luna smiled at her last five words , it kinda brings joy to him and makes his heart flutter.
" I do too a lot kayla, more than you think . We would surely pull through this" Luna assured giving her a light kiss on her lips .
Kayla stared admiringly at him hoping their escape goes successful.
Luna helped her up and a slight yelp escaped from her lips due to the wound on her laps.
" Are you sure you..." Kayla obstructed him from talking further by placing her finger on his lips.
" Say no more ! I would be strong, let's get out of here before lord Dantalion notices us " kayla hurried placing her right arm on his neck while the latter placed his on her waist .
She limped fastly with Luna feeling severe pains, but she would just endure it.
" How are we going to get out from the castle " kayla suddenly remembering to ask thatm
" There is small tunnel , an underground passage in which no one knows it exists not even Lord Dantalion. Your father lord Armageddon created that against war so as to hide the weaker ones in there, ot leads to outside the Castle . I found that many years ago and so, I kept that secret known to myself hoping it would be of help to me one day and it did " Luna explained almost in a whisper looking fugitively around as they moved further.
He already made the coast clear.
He already distracted the guards making them leave their positions to do something else so as to freely escape.
" So after you found it, Why didn't you ...." Before she could finish her statement, Luna dragged her swiftly to a secretive corner making kayla Yelp in pain but Luna covered her mouth immediately. He actually saw Monalisa.
" Ssssssh! Keep quiet " Luna warned silently to kayla who wore a confused expression as she squeezes her face feeling pains already.
Mona stopped on her tracks, she heard a sound, where could that possibly be coming from?
She looked around and she could feel someone is hiding.
" Who is there ! Show yourself if you are not scared of me " Mona boasted as her eyes turned red and her finger nail grew long.
Kayla gasped inwardly as she caught sight of Mona, she was looking truly like a demon. Her heartbeat began rising and falling. This was what Luna was hiding from ?
Recieving no reply, she dissapeared immediately to her brother lord Dantalion to narrate what happened. She could feel something isn't right.
Luna sighed in relief as Mona dissapeared.
" What the hell was that ? " Kayla questioned as fear was written all over her.
" No need to ask questions ! We need to get out of her as fast as we can before the guards get back and before lord Dantalion notices you escaped from the room he locked you up in. " Luna said with his voice breaking.
" Am scared! " Kayla confessed and Luna forced a smile.
" Am here for you , there is no enough time, let's go quickly" Luna urged as they both came out from their hiding place.
He pulled kayla who groaned in pains.
" Easy! " She cried out but Luna was impatient.
He carried her on his back as he began running... He got to place where the tunnel was.
He brought kayla down who breathed heavily..
" Now this it " Luna motioned as he pulled the curtains up to reveal a large circular metal looking like it was carved.
" Is this not an object hunged" kayla queried
" No it is not " Luna yanked off the metal but not noisily to reveal a hole, a large one at that.
" We will have to crawl in " Luna said and kayla gasped.
" I can't, it's dark in there "
They began hearing noises and Luna's heart flew from its position..
"We need to crawl in fast ! Kayla you can do this" Luna assured and pushed her in slightly making her groan in pains.
Luna joined as both crawled deeper into the tunnel.
Kayla crawled slowly feeling immeasurably pains. She just had to endure.
If this is the sacrifice she has to make to escape from lord Dantalion, so be it !
