"Here." Dylan gave Harper and Minzy cans of coke he got from the vending machine. He sat down in front of his girlfriend. Minzy's sitting on Harper’s right side. "Thank you!" She held up a thumb. "Didn't you get yourself a can?" Harper asked. He shook his head. "I'm good." Harper seemed to be struggling to open the can so he attempted to reach out for it. But someone suddenly sat on her left and snatched the can. "Oh my god." Haruto successfully opened the can for Harper. "You're so weak, do you know that?" She rolled her eyes. "Tch. Oh- hi, Yoshi." She noticed Haruto’s friend with him. "Have you guys eaten?" She took a sip from her coke. Yoshi smiled. "Yeah, we just finished. We're just walking around the campus talking about SOME stuff." He gave emphasis to the word as he eyes Haruto. "Hmm? What kinda stuff?" Minzy looked at Haruto. Dylan just sat there, feeling left out. Haruto laughed nervously. "Uhh... Japanese stuff." He shrugged. Harper and Minzy raised one of their eye brows, confused. "Ah, this is Dylan, by the way. He's my boyfriend." She introduced. Yoshi waved at him. Haruto just looked at him seriously. Harper waited for Haruto and Dylan to talk. Dylan suddenly put out a fake smile. "We finally have some time to talk, Haruto." Harper clapped. "Yup! This is good. I'm glad." "I guess, yeah. Dylan." Haruto looked at him. Harp leaned closer to Haruto. "He's older!" She whispered. Fuck that. He thought. He looked at his phone. "Oh, about that time to talk with you? Nevermind that. I got to check up on my girl real quick." He stood up and looked at Dylan again. "Her name's Leana." He smirked before walking away from them and Yoshi followed. Harper bit her lip. She suddenly felt a heavy feeling. She released a sigh. "You okay?" Her boyfriend looked at her. "Yeah, I think I'm just worried you both don't like each other.. I guess?" She said. Dylan laughed. "I might not like him but if you insist, I will." He smiled. "I'm done eating." Minzy stood up. "I'll go back to the classroom, now. Have your private time." She patted Harper’s back before walking away. Dylan waited for her to finish her food. Once she's done, they made their way to the library. While walking, "Why here at the library again?" Dylan asked. "I want to look for a good book to read." She looked up on him. "I need it when I'm bored, you know?" He nodded. "By the way, mom wants you to go to the airport with us." "Huh?" Harper looked at him. "Yeah. We'll eat dinner before going home." She smiled. "You know what's gonna happen so prepare yourself. Let's go back home then we'll just pick you up." Dylan couldn’t say no. He just helped her on looking for a book. "Um, Dy. Can you get that for me?" She pointed on a book that she couldn't reach. Dylan then gave it to her. Harper started flipping the pages. Harp just looked at her. She suddenly stopped. "Babe." He raised his eye brows. "Hmm?" "I just remembered this, I wasn't able to ask you yesterday. But I think I saw you talking to a girl a few days ago, in front of the bus stop." "I'm not sure if it was you, cause I didn't see clearly, I'm just making sure. And I'm just curious, it might be the girl bothering you last time. Not like I'm jealous." She gave him a thin smile. Dylan bit his lip. "Uhh... You know I don't go to the bus stop, right? I.. walk my way home." She nodded. "Ahh. Okay. Never mind then. I'll get this book." She smiled at him. Her boyfriend released a sigh. ——— "Class dismissed." Harper hurriedly stood up to fix her things. "Harp." "Hmm?" She looked at Haruto. "You going straight to the airport?" She looked up. "We'll go home first, then go to the airport, why?" Haruto shook his head. "I'm just wondering." "Ah, Haruto." She faced him after wearing her bag. "Be cool with Dylan, please?" Haruto raised an eye brow. "What do you mean?" "You seemed like you're off earlier this afternoon in front of him" She pointed out. "Maybe... I was just examining his features. Why you fell for him?" He shrugged. "Never mind. You should go now." Harper smiled. "Okay, bye!" She ran out the classroom and looked for Hunter so they can go back home together. ——— Once they got home, they changed and waited for their mom to be finished on getting ready. "Mom, can you please hurry up? You might be putting on so much make up!" Harper yelled. "Okay! Okay! I'm done." Mrs. Gray showed up, all dressed up excited to see his husband. "Finally." Hunter stood up. They went to the car after making sure the house was locked up. The mother drove the way to Dylan’s house to pick him up. He was already waiting outside of their house. Harper opened the backseat door for him. "Good afternoon." He greeted. The mother greeted back and Hunter was just using his phone. While on their way to the airport, Harper felt tired and sleepy. Noticing this, Dylan tilted her head and made her lean to his shoulder. Right then, she just drifted to sleep. ——— "I see him." Hunter looked out of the window and pointed his father. He opened the window. "Dad!" With that, Harper woke up. She looked out the window and smiled when she saw her dad waving at them. The car was parked in front of their father. The family went down the car and so did Dylan. Mrs. Gray ran towards his husband and gave him a tight hug and a kiss. "Aww." Mr. Lee gave his children a hug. "I missed you both!" "We missed you too, Dad." Harper giggled. "Oh, Dylan!" The father also gave him a hug. "Long time no see." Dylan just smiled. A bit nervous to let him know the truth. Hunter and Dylan started helping Mr. Gray to out the luggage bags inside the trunk. Once they're all good, they went inside the car and made their way to the restaurant to eat dinner early. Hunter’s now sitting in between Dylan and his sister at the backseat. Harper just released a sigh. ——— "Here's your order." The waiter smiled at them while serving them food. Harper’s eyes glistened seeing the delicious food in front of her. "Woa, I'm so hungry." "I am, too." Hunter looked at the food. Luckily, Harp’s now seated in between Dylan and Hunter and their parents in front of them. While eating, they were telling stories and laughing. "Ah, Dylan. Why did you come?" Mr. Gray looked at him. "Uhh.." Harper cleared her throat. "Dad. Mom was the one who wanted him to come with us for dinner." The father nodded. "He's a family anyways." She breathed in and out. "Daddy-." "He's now Harper’s boyfriend." Hunter cut off. "What?!" "Hunt!" "Hunter-." "Hunter Gray!" "What?! That's the truth. You could have just said it already." He shrugged. "Oh god." Harper facepalmed. "You ruined it." "Is that true?" The father asked. She bit her lips. "Yes." "Well, that's good! I'm so happy." Mr. Gray smiled at Dylan. "Dad!" The older brother furrowed his eye brows. Harper smiled. "I've known you with my daughter for so long, Dylan. And I trust you. I know you wouldn't hurt her." Dylan nodded and smiled. What an easy way to her family’s heart.
